Guild Wars 2

So I was doing some video recording with the game and about 40 or so minutes into recording my client decides to crash, I thought it was weird so I tried it again, and then tried it again. Same thing happened, around 40 minutes or so the game crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Specs:
AMD – FX-6300
EVGA GeForce GTX 650 ti 1 GB
Vengeance 2×4GB RAM
MSI 990FXA GD65 V2

Side note: I do not have problems with recording on other games, only guild wars 2 crashes during recording which corrupts my files.

I have pretty much made my build the way I want and at this point just ironing something out at this point, now I don’t have full exotics/ascended gear but i’m close. Now what I’m wondering is, from the people that go more hybrid build balancing out a good standard of damage/tanky I feel that my damage is good, but wondering if my toughness is at a good standard, so people that go for my type of build, what is your toughness at? or just tell me your armor stat.

I was going for a barbaric Sylvari that is still holding on to his heritage, if you are interested the armor is:

Head: Barbaric
Shoulders: CoF
Chest: Tier 2 Sylvari Cultural
Hands: AC
Legs: Tier 2 Sylvari Cultural
Feet: AC

I enjoyed the jumping puzzle, I understand that most people will not be able to do it due to quick reflexes or some type of disability but this may sound mean but why should all of us suffer for one game mechanic that doesn’t “need” to be completed, it is one thing that was put in for the event. There are plenty of other things that can be worked. The statement about “master platformers” I most likely ran this event about 50-60 times in 2 hours give or take and finally completed it. People just get to frustrated with the mechanics, it doesn’t take a master platformer to do this jumping puzzle(the reason I say this is because I don’t play platform games and never will) you just need timing, trial and research and you can remember where you need to go and jump and where to take your time when you have it.

Have you guys put the item on since you transmutated it? Because I also want to know if it saves the flair over. Because it would obviously be pointless to have a flair item that you can’t transmutate over to another item.

What I do is transmutate equipment from karma vendors in the maps that I play in or armor from story missions. I seem to find armor that looks a lot better doing it this way. I feel that once you get to 40 you start seeing better weapons/armor skins. So just need to tough it out and you will start feeling better about your medium armor. I’m level 56(ranger) and I feel as if that my character almost looks the way I want him to at this point.

So just stick it out and you will start seeing better skins for your character.

Made it to 40 this morning and found out that the range is not that far, I was extremely upset and immediately respeced in something other than traps. I hope they boost the range on it, I practically throwing a trap at my feet.

I have been studying this information like a hawk hoping to see some light at the end of the tunnel to get a patch and maybe even rework the skills/traits. Everything seems so dull, but even with the bugs I still can’t stop playing the ranger…. it is a constant struggle trying to not roll a thief since it is the next closest thing.

I completely agree with you, the added effects do not seem to be worth it, there secondary click does nothing for anyone, they need to completely re-work them. Now I was hoping to see something coming out of this patch for rangers but I expected that there is a pretty big issue with them at this time. There are effective builds that you can run, but it seems that most of the skills are worthless. For example I like traps and I wanted to use burning trap/spike trap with the throw trait, but it literally has no range, I was thinking it was going to be muddy terrain and have a pretty nice distance on it or at least close to that distance, but no it throws it right in front of your feet. It made me step bank and think about actually playing the class till they worked on it some more, I have been ignoring the bugs and still having fun and reporting things, but I hope that Anet will come out and surprise us with reworking a lot of skills and traits to make us more viable for a support role in the game(which is what I like to play), the only thing we have going for us right now is healing spring.

So I tried to find it on the wiki and searched the forums for it and there doesn’t seem to be anything about it, is there not a Golden Moa? It isn’t on the wiki and I’m trying to find it because the build I’m trying to use and it’s F2 skill is swiftness/vigor buff to everyone.

Has anyone found the Golden Moa or does it just not exist?

That’s the spirit! I’m in the same boat, I haven’t checked my account yet since I’m currently at work but I’m sure I will be doing the same thing and I’m sure my level 40 thief will be naked or worse….. But at least I get to play this weekend.

Unfortunately there is no current rollback, however they are working on it.

I have only logged into the forums since I’m at work, I hope that I was not banned when I get home because I was hoping to be able to play this weekend, hang in there man, hopefully everything will get worked out!

Still doesn’t make sense for the email address since they already expressed yesterday that you would not be able to change your email address, I can understand what your saying about the password though.

I was going to give a helpful post because I felt that it got my process done much quicker, I also had one response and that was that my account was good to go, instead of putting a wall of text just simply list everything that you think they will need, (i.e. in game character names, email address, cd key, order number, day of purchase, last 4 of your card number, date of birth, etc.) and label them all.

I did this got one response saying that my account was activated and ready to go, if you have not done this, I would suggest updating your ticket with the information neatly labeled and spaced so they can stream line through it and assist you with getting back and leave it at that.

Took me three days to get back into my account from when account was hacked.

So I got an email saying that my account had been unbanned and reinstated with a password and the email address so I could get back into my account……
The email stated that I would not be able to change the email or password till further notice, and to keep an eye on everything to see when I could change it which I assume was another safety measure till they get everything worked out and safe for peoples accounts to not get hacked.

So where I was getting to, basically I was able to change the password once I logged in, I’m not sure if this should be looked at or if anyone cares but just some information and feedback on what is currently going on.

Edit: Just changed my email to, I’m not sure if this was released yet that you can change this or if I’m the only one but I just did both of them when it was said that you couldn’t do this at this time.
