Hello once again! After receiving amazing feedback on the first karaoke tournament, we are proud to announce the 2ND GW2 International Karaoke Tournament!
We learned last tournament that Phantaram angelic voice is to hard for many to handle. Even a duet couldn’t stop the multicultural phenomenon Anas Tarcis from literally coming back from elimination to win the first GW2 Karaoke Tournament! The 2nd tournament will consist of the most contestant from the first tournament with the new faces of Five Gauge! and 2 Singers looking to sweep the competition away!
Tournament Date: 8pm est (Friday) April 11th
The tournament will be streamed (twitch.tv/itsgenyen)
Rules: The tournament will be a 8 contestant tournament (or more). It is single elimination! Songs chosen must have the instrumental music available. All contestant must act “PROFESSIONAL”. ALL contestants must have SKYPE and a working mic (CAM optional).
Winners per each round will be chosen by the VIEWERS! (Strawpoll). If the votes doesn’t match up close to the amount of viewers (rigging the strawpoll) the judges will decided who moves on.
Host: Storm & Myself(Genyen)
Round 1: Contestants may choose any songs they desire to sing.
Round 2: Contestants may be assigned a song if not they may chose another song.
Semi or Higher: Contestants may sing by themselves or sing as a group with other people(Cant sing with people who are in the tournament).
Prize: 1st: 850G & 800Gems
2nd: 100G & 800 Gems
3rd: 50G
Giveaways : 500G(50×10)
Break performance by the Father of Esports himself Grouch! (If he decides to sing).
Rap LESSONS duets with the Dark Lord himself Noscoc and Lord Helseth (hopefully)

People just like to complain… in the past people complained to go against team like mini ken, caed, tammy pre-made teams and got smashed by them, they in the primary leadboard positions and you in 200, 300+. Because didnt have enough people to play.

I suppose now that mmr works well, if you are going solo you are playing with people in your skill play level… if you are playing in the group the other team will have mmr to compete. I’m not in a leaderboard, but i have like 80%+ win rate, and i got some cool battles and other good names in the opposite team.

People who cares about the competitive, in the moment don’t look into the leader board.

Rank means nothing, it doesn’t make you the #1 player. My friends and I had an undefeated record for a long time after the leaderboards came out, and the people we literally 500-0’d in ranked ques 24/7 were ranked higher than us because they simply played more games. You being #1 on the leader board doesn’t make you the #1 player na or eu, it just means the leaderboards are horrible. In reality the top 5 on the leaderboard should be Phanta, Nos, Chaith, Wakkey, and Toker. If anyone thinks otherwise they are just not very smart.

People don’t run condi engi because it is incredibly squishy, one mistake in positioning and that’s all she wrote (against good players). It also gets trashed by cele engi, and trashed even harder by necros, loses to d/d eles, s/d thieves can even trash condi engi if they know the matchup because condi is easy to kill. It is high risk and little reward, until things change cele rifle will always be the 10x better build, that’s why ppl don’t run condi as often.

Norn is really good, it has a bigger camera angle than the other races, makes it easier to land grenades.

It would also take the skill out of landing your grenades if it was a target lock, which would officially make engineer the least skilled profession in the game. #cele

I have been lagging really hard for the past 3-4 days and it’s only when I play gw2. At first I thought it was just me but a lot of my friends have had the same issue. We couldn’t even really compete in the previous MP weekly because some of us had 5-6 second delay and it shows no signs of going away anytime soon. I think it has something to do with Arena net’s game because of the fact that it is only when I play this game lol…

Idk who thought of Immob stacking, however that has to be the dumbest idea ever added to GW2 aside from not fixing the magnet bug since day one. Please go back to the original system with the immobilize, it was a way better system, being permanently imobed with no way of getting out especially when you play classes with crappy condi removal is not really fun.
