As I just wrote in another thrat, we have the same problem as a few other people here.
My son’s account got banned and we have no idea what went wrong.
Only the templated-replies from A-Net like ‘complete confidence in our detection’ and ‘confidence in our conclusion’.
As kalvin we played GW1 already a couple of years, bought GW2 during beta and we would never jeopardize messing up our GW2 accounts.
Hi all,
I have the same problem as Floryn and JadedWolf above. My son’s account was terminated and the only thing we heard is because of ‘tampering with the game’ and ‘absolute confidence in our conclusion’.
We realy have no idea what we did wrong, but the ‘case’ is closed.
As a few other, we got the templated-replies and for my last two mails we didn’t even receive any response.
Just made a new ticket, will hold you informed.

I’m posting on behalf of my son. His account has been blocked since 06/26/2013.
He did the jumping puzzle Goemm’s lab that day and fall down a few times.
We made a ticket on 06/26/2013, updated the ticket on 06/28/03 and since then nothing happened. His ticket number is: 130626-002997
Please help.
Thanks
Here’s an update about progress in game security and the resolution of a recent situation from Chris, the lead of our Game Security Team:
After significant investigation, we were able to determine that a bug in the jumping puzzle itself was causing players to fall out of the intended boundaries of the puzzle. Due to this bug, there was an unintended side effect that caused false positives on an element of our malicious activity detection system. We have since identified players that were caught up in this false detection and have reinstated their accounts.
When I read this, I got a feeling and some quetions.
What happens to players, who end ‘oudside the boundaries’ on another place because of a bug or a glitch?
What, if there are just a few players and not, like in this case, a great number of banned players?
Do they have any chance to get an investigation and their accounts back?
Thanks
I can’t go into details, but there were a tiny number of accounts that had false positives for cheating/hacking caused by a bug in the puzzle. We’re fixing that bug (if it hasn’t been fixed already) and reinstating the accounts that were incorrectly banned.
It looks like, that my son happened the same. The ticket number is: 130626-002997.
Please take this ticket into your investigations, too.
Thanks
