Any items that were Account Bound that now say “Account Bound on Acquire” in the description cannot stack with each other. For example, if you have Scrolls of Knowledge and you split some off, you can’t combine them again. There are other items affected by this, such as boosters and Black Lion tickets.

Finisher randomly resets to Basic Finisher

Outside of combat, I have set my character’s finisher to something else (I have bought it). At seemingly random times, the finisher will reset to the basic one. Is that a bug, or is there something causing it?

Obsidian Sanctum still exits to Lion's Arch

When you exit Obsidian Sanctum, it still exits you to Lion’s Arch. All other WvW/PvP maps correctly exit you to Vigil Keep. Shouldn’t the Obsidian Sanctum exit also place you in Vigil Keep?

As stated in today’s update notes:

The Wurm Demolitionist achievement has been lowered to 5 kegs, down from 30.

If you previously had between 5-29 kegs in the achievement progress, your achievement will now appear complete. However, Triple Trouble will not update to include that achievement now.

Set a trap that damages and stuns foes per pulse. Lasts 3 seconds and pulses 3 times. Combo Field: Lightning

Signet of the Sun Signet
Passive: 10% chance to Blind foes that attack you for 3s. Active: Surround your pet in sunlight for 10s. Blinds and Burns foes near your pet every second for 1s per tick. When the sunlight dissipates, damage and stun nearby foes.

Never Rampage Alone Transform
Merge with your pet, gaining Might (5), Fury, Swiftness, Stability, and a passive bonus based on the pet you merged with. Lasts 20s. You keep the same weapon and utility skills, but removes your pet from the field while this is active. Any skill that affects your pet used during this time will affect you instead. When the transformation ends, you lose all active effects and boons.

  • Arctodus: whenever you would Bleed, your foe Bleeds instead
  • Black Bear: 10% chance to Weaken nearby foes for 3s when you get hit

A Way to solve the Pet Problem

If this ever goes through, I think the pet family should grant a small passive effect, then the individual species should grant another small passive effect based on its actual species. A family’s passive should either grant a boon or inflict a condition:

Bear: 5% chance to gain 2s Protection when you get hit
Bird: 5% chance to gain 5s Swiftness when you get hit
Canine: 5% chance to Cripple a foe for 2s on hit
Devourer: 5% chance to Poison a foe for 2s on hit
Drake: 5% chance to Cleave on hit
Feline: 5% chance to inflict Vuln for 5s on hit
Moa: 5% chance to gain 3s Fury when you get hit
Porcine: 5% chance to Bleed a foe for 3s on hit
Spider: 5% chance to Weaken a foe for 3s on hit
Armor Fish: 5% chance to gain 5s Aegis when you get hit
Jellyfish: 5% chance to Blind a foe for 3s on hit
Shark: 5% chance to gain 5s Might when you get hit

The species list would be long, but would provide an additional passive effect on top of the family effect, with some having a more drastic effect than others. Some examples:

Brown Bear: 5% chance to remove a condition when you get hit
Polar Bear: 5% chance to Chill nearby foes for 3s when you get hit
Fern Hound: 5% chance to gain 3s Regen when you get hit
Wolf: 1% chance to Fear a foe for 1s on hit
Lashtail Devourer: 1% chance to Stun a foe for 1s on hit
Stalker: 5% chance to grant 5s Might to nearby allies when you get hit
Jaguar: 5% chance to gain 3s Stealth when you get hit
Snow Leopard: 1% chance to encase a foe in a block of ice on hit
Red Moa: increases your Critical Damage by 3%

This happens if you have a trait that triggers upon entering combat. For example, if a Ranger has Shared Anguish, this would cause gathering to get junk items if attacked while gathering.

My guild got to the final part of the Angvar’s Trove Guild Puzzle, but failed that part. When we attempted to try it again, the Legendary Broodmother would not wake up. It remained asleep for the rest of the time we spent in the Guild Puzzle.

If your guild rolls Angvar’s Trove as a Guild Puzzle, make sure you finish the final part with the Legendary Broodmother on your first try!

Hmm thanks for that site, I may have a use for my 50-60k glory and ~600 skill points now.

I say do not attempt to convert karma to coin, because of how much more difficult it is to obtain karma now than prior to the September 2013 update. All karma should go towards obsidian shards, exotic backs from Orr, or T3 cultural weapon skins.

Acquiring T6 mats

I, surprisingly, had good luck with clovers and didn’t get many t6 mats. I’ve started promoting all the t5 mats I have stocked up for a small boost.

Wish I had that kind of luck. I’m at a <20% return rate on clovers. While I’m getting lots of T6 mats in return that I don’t have to worry about as much later, I’m losing a lot of money/karma on the inputs.

First, start making clovers via the Mystic Forge, as it will spit out lots of T6 mats. Once you get your 77 clovers, you should have a handful of T6 mats.
The most efficient method currently is simply running the Frostgorge train nonstop, and using the profit from that to directly buy the mats on the TP. If your server is low like mine, guest to a higher population server and run with them. As an alternative, use Laurels to buy T6 bags for 3 random mats each.

What profession should I level next?

I just made it to level 80 on my fifth character last night. I currently have the following at different stations:

  • Ranger – South: Temples and T6 Mats
  • Warrior – West: TA, Wurm, Fire Ele, and Karka
  • Mesmer – North: HotW, CoF, Claw, and Frostgorge Train
  • Guardian – Southeast: CoE, Tequatl, Destroyer, and Golem
  • Elementalist – East: AC, Ogre Chieftain, Shatterer, and Shaman

That leaves me with Engineer, Thief, and Necromancer. I will likely make a Thief for WvW, but since I’m in a low-population server, I don’t see myself leveling a character for that purpose any time soon. I also want to staff a few more stations, like:

  • Northwest: CM, Behemoth, Ulgoth, and Queensdale Train
  • Center: SE, Commissar, Maw, and Taidha

My questions are, what should I level to 80 next: Engineer, Necromancer, or Thief? Which station should I stick them at?

At what Huntsman level do you think these unlock? Currently Huntsman lv465.

You can unlock them even if you’re not currently in that discipline. That’s how I learned cooking recipes from renown hearts while on Hunts/Leather.
