Hi,
Today I’ve ported to malchors leap and after a while game crashed and every attempt to log back resulted in next crash so my character got stuck.
I’d written a mail to gw2 support and received a solution which should help you resolve this problem.
First being to clear your cache file:
1) Completely close the game
2) Go to temp folder by going to start/run, type in temp and hit enter
3) Browse to the folder gw2cache-(guid). Example: “gw2cache-(50641E0B-3AD4-1601-081E-6450D43A0116)” 4.. Delete the whole gw2cache folder
Next is to delete more cache files directly tied to the launcher and updates:
4) Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key.
5) Paste in the following line: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2 Click “OK.”
6) Delete the local.dat file located here.
7) Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key.
8) Paste in the following line: C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\bin
9) Highlight every item in the folder, right click, and select delete.
You will also want to clear your Recycle Bin.
Finally,
10) Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
11) Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
12) Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
13) Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
14) Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end. Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes -- Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair -- Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
15) Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes. If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try Step 5 again.
16) Right-click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” and select “Run as Administrator.”
Allow the repair to run and once completed, right-click" “GW2.exe” or your Guild Wars 2 Shortcut and select “Run as Administrator.”
Once completed, please try starting Guild Wars 2 again.
That should be all. I hope It will be helpful and if it doen’t help try to contact support.
I don’t understand it either… I love support classes and i think either in pvp or pve druid will be useful class. New pets are amazing so for example beastmaster + druid in pvp will be probably a good choice, especially in spvp.
Sry I love phantasms sou i’m not gonna play it unless its in pvp and still I don’t like shatt..
In PvE I play Phantasm build – http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vhAQNAR8dnsICtqhlqBeoBUrhlUjhcgSCo8jT6G9r1yC-ThBBABV8kCwS5HAXUha2foS1fOTJIA-e
The PvE build utilize strength rune and sigil with the gs trait i can easily stack 25 stacks of might. With the signet and trait my phantasms have more hp and do not die so fast + they attack more offen
I can always adjust it so my Focus cas reflect projectiles and glamour skills duration is prolonged.
In PvP again Phantasm build – http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vhAQNAR8flknhi0YjawMNwtGL4G05MmdtNXQuiQZAa9vA-TJxHwADeCAa2fAwFBoYZAA
In PvP case I utilized stealth skills, with this I do not die so easily and can prolong a fight or if its necessary i can withdraw from fight.
It’s somehow same with me… i play gw2 with breaks from the release and played phantasm mesmer, burst bleed or some condition builds. Well, a lot of changes occurred and my phantasm build isn’t good as i thought. I think mesmer is now more focused on a few builds like that shatter build. I hope that in a new expansion mesmer will be more versatile.
