Mount was good. Still needs better control (like looking behind without it wealing), and size proportions (to race not just character height).
Map is beautiful, not so creampied with hordes of enemies. We saw about 66% i’d say, and that’s not good, couse i feel it won’t be that big as presented.
Everything else was solid, except i had huge FPS drop, to about 20ish, from 50-60 i usually have, and ping rise to 90+, witch made things a bit off.

Pets are too small

I understand what you are saying, but Norn and Charr characters are already doing that, and it isn’t much of a problem.
It’s not that all of our pet must be bigger. I can live with birds and spiders being the size they are now, but cats and bears and wolves should be at least size of veteran mobs.
As it is, they are all same size, just different skins, except birds.

Human.
I just found veteran send lion mob in expansion map. It looks like double the size of pet send lion. It would be proper size for pets too.

After playing for a few hours, i’m getting used to the mount.
I’d still like few improvements.
1. Strafe.
2. Mount not turning direction if i rotate camera behind and release mouse 1 key.
3. No delay, or at least shorter delay, from the moment i press W, until it starts moving.

Most of our pets need to grow up a bit. Or a lot.
New sand lion looks like it’s a size of chiwawa.

I like everything i saw, except mount’s movement.
It’s clunky and feels like it’s all over the place. Especially that, if you look behind while riding, and then release mouse 1, mount starts turning to direction you are looking. Why? I tried to turn this off, but i could not find it. Is there any? At least add that.
As someone said already, movement should be sharp and precise. No delays, no swinging.
Everything else, as i said, was nice. Big open maps, beautiful scenes, enemies…
Just fix that clunky movement and i am a happy customer.

"Leaked" Engie Spec

I think it’s torch, not sword.
In Flashpoint trailer, there is a medium armor female character fireing cannon, at around 00.42 seconds. She has pistol/torch. No proffesion has that weapon combination yet.

DCs with low and high ping. Any ideas?

Problems started this sunday. My PC automaticly updated new windows 10 version and since than, i have crazy lag spikes (skill delay over 10 seconds) usualy ending with DCs.
What i know:
- All DC codes were conection related (can’t remember full codes now, but usualy starting with 11:…)
- DCs happening on anywhere from 40 to 4.000 ping (never had ping issues befour, and it never went over 100. My usual ping is 40-60 and game was working fine even when it was up to 90-100)
- It happens in raids mostly (like 90 % of DCs), but yesterday stated in fotm and dungens as well (not that offten as in raids)
What i tried to do:
- Updated patches, turned off green ethernet, turned off all backgorund running programs, updates, etc… Still same problem.
- Finaly, yesterday i restored previous version of windows 10. Didn’t help.
What elese can i try? Its realy not good when you lay dead on 5 of 9 booses in raids cause of DCs.
One problem that i didn’t adress yet is relativly high temperature of PC when im playing GW2. Don’t know if that might be issue, cause PC is new (few months old), with Intel i-5 CPU, 8 RAM, etc… it should be fine, but…
Ideas?

PS. I tested ping on speedtest and it was 24-26. Does that mean those DCs are not conection related?

This is just wrong. Ranger was lacking AoE direct dmg since day 1, and when you finaly gave us option to play AoE direct dmg burst with this specialisation, now you are nerffing it. Why? We dont need more condies. Beside, skill was criting for 1900-2200, now it will be like 600-700 on crit. Realy?

Hello. Didnt play for a long time, and never played mesmer. But i decided to try it out this time, and what drived me most is idea of shatter with condi presure (im trying to make build based on this since ive returned, about month now). It changed a lot from original idea with PU, to smthing like this

Build is created only with idea for wvw solo/small grp play. Id like to know if smthing like this is viable, befour i go for ascended farm (some parts of this equipment i already have, about 50%).
Any advice is wellcome. Also some questions.
1- Mantra of resolve. Yes, no? If no what else would work better for dealing with condis?
2- Mental torment. Would empowered illusions be better for overall dmg output?
3- I have a 2nd pistol with empty slot. Sigil of doom or hydromancy?(after 25 bloodlust stacks). Same about GS (hydromancy or doom?). Or something else?
4- Armor. Atm its less then 2300. Im used to bunker ranger with around 3k armor, and atm playing Blackdevils build with some random exotics i have (soldier/zerker), with 2600 armor. Is 2300 to low?
Anything else that comes to your minds:D.

900 range and, retaliation will kill you.

Stay in mele range(actualy stay in field youre blasting), reduce arow fly time=faster blast efect. Like this guy

The REAL and the only REAL reason that ranger is not welcomed in WvW is becoz ranger has the fewest AOE skills in the game.
While most of other classes have double digital number of AOE skills on their weapons, ranger only has 1.5 (torch 5 can be count as 0.5) AOE skill.
Even if Anet double the LB damage, ranger can be only a 1v1 hero in WvW, group-wise ranger still sucks.
This is design failure and can hardly be changed.
So ranger in WvW —-—- R.I.P

This is not entirely true. Problem is that ranger have no AoE and no superior utilities to counter lack of dps. Ranger is in same bracket with mesmer on this. Mesmers can barely tag all targets (if they realy try), but they have those few skills that make them must have.
On other side, guardians have everything (and can be taken in same spec), and other proffesions have some of it, depending on a spec (engi lucks something unique as well).
So ye, ranger in wvw is pointless apart from soloing.

Devs try GvG against some of top wvw guilds out there? 10+ per side(10v10, 15v15, 20v20, 25v25-just some usual formats). Im sure anet can make team of 10+ players(can they?!- i realy dont know). Im curious how many/if any rangers would be in anet team, im sure there will be 0 in guild faceing them. Maybe then they adress ranger uslesness in wvw.
