Anet certainly added something wrong in the patch code they applied during the night between sunday and monday.
Everything worked fine till this update. Just look at this, maybe you could get the game back to the version before sunday patch and work on something that doesn’t break the game for us…

Actually Im playing on US Server. I really hope I’ll can come back to my home server without trouble.
I’m on vacations since today for 3 weeks. Hopefully they’ll fix it before I start work.
No problem for me since I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
I can’t see how this helps. We can play on US Server, so the game data can’t be deficient. It has to be something with the network.
Anyway… I’m trying right now with a copy of the folder I did for this kind of purpose.
EDIT : Just tried. It seems to work so far. It could be usefull to have some other people to try it and make feedback to see how it works. Thanks for the information julS.

I don’t want to be forced to transfer for playing with the risk of being forced to pay to get back to the EU without the certitude of getting on my home server – thinking here of my highly populated home server and the fact we don’t know about the time when they will put an end to free transfers.

That situation is pretty much disturbing : people of the SAME location that can’t login, for 2 days long, and nothing has been solved yet.

can you guys try to hardcode these dns servers, and do a ipconfig /flushdns and see what happens… kinda curious really… works for me I’ve been 4 hours restarted twice and still working

Just tried the Port Test aswell – same error.
It’s quite strange that we can normally play on US Server, but can’t on EU Server. Something has really been messed up during last update.

So sad it doesn’t work. Please fix it quickly. It’s there since the last patch, I never had this error before. You certainly broke something with an update.

Just tried to transfer my account to an american server. I could log in on my main and already was “out-of-town”.
Went back to my home server (EU). Same error occured when I tried to log in.

Fyi it works for me. I logged in and tp to another area, everything works fine atm. Hope it will work for you too.

Yeah I know… Just after writing my reply, the same error occured. That’s the reason why I deleted it… Too sad. It worked for like 10 minutes.
