The doors don’t all lead to the Mad King’s Realm, only some of them.
As far as the pumpkins, they were supposed to require players to actually find 150 different ones, the fact that they respawned was a bug that has been fixed.
Tanking doesn’t exactly work since there is no way to hold aggro, same as healing doesn’t work because it isn’t powerful enough. What you really need to clear a dungeon efficiently is some people with control (knockbacks, stuns, etc.) abilities and some with support (condition removal, boons, etc.) abilities, however these abilities should ideally be spread out over a large portion of the party.
Likely the people looking for tanks and healers just don’t know how the game works yet in regards to its differences to other games.
The idea of these preliminary 1-day matchups is to provide data for the matchmaking system for the rest of the game’s life-span. Just because a server is high population doesn’t necessarily mean that those players like WvW, so they have to do this in order to properly match servers for the longer matches that will be coming soon.
I think the designation Full, Heavy, Lite, etc are just indicators of server load at the time. With Full indicating that there is a que for players to log on to that server
No, there are no queues in GW2, since it uses overflow servers. Full means no accounts can currently choose that server as their home server unless they are already there.
I really enjoy running sword/sword with the traits that cause vulnerability on interrupt/shatter/daze, if I shatter 3 illusions with f3 and happen to interrupt then I can apply full 25 stacks of vulnerability and then I use the sword’s 2 skill to deal a lot of damage.
As of a couple days ago there were normally a few people standing outside Ascalonian Catacombs looking for a group. Just make sure you’re joining a story mode group since you can’t do explorable mode until after you’ve completed story.
