Idea for a new Map Completion Reward

Just the first Waypoint in each area would be enough for me

As a means of getting to places without having to walk everywhere all over again!

As in the Waypoint beside each portal of the map, and not all the ones in the middle? I can understand how that would be a lesser version of what I proposed and still valuable, but the point I was trying to make was you dont need to explore at all again if you didn’t want to.

That would be a fair trade, does Anet read these kind of things?

That could be a possibility of Anet found that fair, but I just thought of it as “You already did it all once, we’ll help you a little next time” as the Waypoints are only about 25% of completion.

Honestly, it was for reason 2 in my OP that I would like it.

I propose the idea that a new item should be added to when you get 100% map completion:

An account bound consumable that you can give to ONE of your alts to instantly unlock all Waypoints. (No EXP given from Waypoints though)
This would be useful for 2 different situations, the first being if you want to complete the map again, you will get a head start on your second time around, and the second being if you dont want to complete the entire map again, your alt can still get around the map for World Bosses, Dungeons, Guild Missions, etc.

Each time a character completes a map, you would get an adtional consumable for your next character.

EDIT: As some of the comments below were saying, a trade off to this would be the alt you use the item on could not gain any map completion item rewards itself, this would make it more fair.

In the Trading Post filters, can we have the option to only show locked skins for weapons and armor?

Suggestion: Remove 20% Copper-Fed

Instead of altering the copper-fed, my suggestion to deal with the “trash” that the salvage kits produces plus all the junk we get.

Have an option on the inventory that says vendor runes/sigils/junk
Selecting this option vendors these items no matter where you are. No need to go to a merchant.
The items leave your inventory and the vendor value arrives in your bank.
If you accidently vendor something you wanted to keep you can go to a merchant and buy it back, at least till you leave the map.
Or the option can be to only auto vendor masterwork runes/sigils plus all junk.

I think the copper fed is fine as it is but I would like a salvage kit that has 0% chance of extracting upgrades. When I am mass salvaging I just don’t want to have to deal with minor and major runes. I just don’t. I don’t care if I am losing liquid gold (however little of it) by not getting the runes, I don’t want them clogging up my inventory and forcing me to stop in the middle of my mass salvaging

Honestly, either of these could work as well. My issue is mass salvaging (Looking at you SW bags)

Pretty much any time you are using the Copper-Fed Salvage kit, its on Blues and Greens (very common from SW), and you don’t always have easy access to a vendor to sell, so I think it may be a good idea to change it to 0% chance to recover, seeing as all the green upgrades are only 16-18c each. It would not make it any more useful, other then not needing to find a vendor or spend an annoying amount of time trashing them.

This would only affect the Copper-Fed Salvage Kit though as it is behind a gem price, and the Silver-Fed is useful for Rares and Exotics which have good upgrades.

Soulbound Removal

Can we please get an item, say for 200 gems, or from MF attendant to throw a soulbound item which used to be soulbound on use into the MF and get it back non soulbound?

I got a precursor on a character that I no longer want who will never finish world completion and would rather transfer it to my main.

Upkeep Priority Help (Solo and Group)

Currently,
When I’m roaming the world with S/A + Hammer.
When I get in a group, I switch to S/SH + Hammer.
When I reach a boss fight, I go S/SH + Staff.
Full Power/Precision/Ferocity gear with Superior Rune of Strength
Switch between Glint/Assassin and Glint/Dwarf.

Question is, I don’t know what Glint skills I should be using and when.

For example, both in solo and groups, I always had Facet of Light+Darkness+Elements.
Used Facet of Strength -> Burst of Strength and Facet of Elements -> Elemental Blast for DPS on larger monsters (Bosses) and popped Facet of Light -> Infuse Light when my health became low, rarely switching stances.

I know I should be dropping some at specific times (or all the time, only to be used in specific times), to make room for Facet of Nature in groups, but I don’t know what to drop. Also is Facet of Nature needed for solo roaming? ….I need help.

Suggestions from a new player.

There have been a few things I have been looking in the menu systems for with no luck, so I’ll leave some of the things I noticed here.

1. The player should be able to chose the color of each rarity. This would make it much easier for new players to know the order of the colors, personally it’s mentally easier to pick out a pattern that’s familiar (White, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, Turquoise, Red), with all the new players coming in (such as myself), at least the option to be familiar would be nice.

2. The ability to sort your inventory by more options such as rarity, vendor price, level. This would just make it easier to find and pick things out.

3. Besides just looking at your map to see what you have done, maybe in achievements or somewhere like it, show which areas you have completed (100%), not even discovered yet (0%) and the % completion of each area in between. Looking at the big map is a little hard to find how many places you have left to explore, as well as when going for 100% map, hard to find which ones you still have work to do in. I would NOT want to know what or where the points are, just a guide like “Frostgorge Sound: 44%”

Those are just a few things I noticed, the first 2 I could live without but would be extremely nice to have, but the last one is questionable why it is not already in the game.
