Just to let yall know, GW2 Drama has a lot of material ready to be launched if Oeggs doesnt make it!!!
Your friendly GW2Drama correspondent, Backpack!
top players are overrated… i dueled this nosco necro kid like 20 times, and won almost every single one…. (had to let him win every 5, so he would get discouraged)…. but yea, dont waste ur time with top players… Phanta and nos and wakkey are all easy kills.. if u wnna get better just fight vs urself on another computrr
“We have given out thousands of dollars to players” Nope.
I, as well as every other winner of a Go4 tournament, have not seen a dollar yet. I won money as far back as November and I still don’t have the money nor a date when I will receive it… ESL has been rather unprofessional in their collection of our information as well as the distribution or prize money…. Anet or ESL needs to do something to fix this…
loael… fun stuff to bad Kronos cant team Q >>><<< This situation reminds me of when Lettuce called Backpack out… >> Then backpack 100-0ed kronos like 5 times engi v engi… Lettuce Bmed backpack, then Engi v Thief, backpack stayed 100% while kronos kept reseting in stealth for 30mins before calling it a “tie”

Lol +1,
If anything he played at odd hours, avoided all the good players and won 99 times against scrubs.
Just think about it, do you really think your that good that you don’t lose any games 99 times?
Maybe if your playing scrubs yes, but theres a lot of good players out there to knock you the kitten out.
Backpack plays only during prime time, and then all day on the weekends….
He qs with the Abjured….
If Backpack Phantaram Noscoc Wakkey and Toker are quing…. name 5 players that will beat them…. there are no good players that can knock them out
I don’t understand the leader board.
Do you ever loss any points for lossing? Else anyone with enough time will be on top of the leader board.
did you read this?
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/finding-the-perfect-match/“Ladder ranking is now based on points which are awarded by how well you play the game and how challenging that game was. "
refer to the link and the attached image.
to put simply, mike / aaron / backpack ’s team has not been playing a lot of challenging games at all.
i dare say, match prediction says all 99 of their games have a 80-100% chance to win.
Backpack Qs during prime time. He has played and beaten DoD, and literally every other team that is top tier…..
You all say “his games arent competitive, he would lose to harder competition”
Everytime he Qs, he plays the 2nd best group playing at that given time…..
They are going to win, regardless of who they are playing, doesnt that mean something?? Isnt that who should be at the top of the leaderboard? The team that wins regardless of who they are playing?
Ya but you should check other esports games. No one have 100% win ratio. In fact all the top teams range maybe 50-70% wins.
It’s probably not very competitive if some teams manage to win 100 games with no loss.
Like yous said this team is really good, do you think they could guarantee a win in the next GW2 tournament?
and I’m not really directing the topic about Backpack God. There seems to be quite a bunch of teams with really high win ratio. That probably shouldn’t happen if it is competitive.
Backpack plays with Abjured, The best team in the game.. They won last WTS, and they win every ESL weekly, and they will definately go to PAX east WTS where they have an extremely good chance of winning again. No team on NA, including the second best team (DoD) is even close…

It is actually very easy to go 99-0. Before this season I had about 140-0 without really trying much. Now I’m on 85% wins mostly solo queuing lately.
I think problem with some players is that their ego is greater and they never want to lose so they only play with the full team and never solo/duo queue, so they can’t play as many games as other people do.So my point is that win percentage means absolutely nothing, it just depends on who your teammates are, and doesn’t represent individual skill. The leaderboard is individual and not team based, so what it can accurately represent is effort and time put into the game, and reward those who try hardest.
My only problem with the leaderboard is that you can gain points for losing a match. I believe that it should never be like that. Oh, and I think if you are higher on the leaderboard, you should very rarely or never gain more than one point for win.

I heard that you left games you were losing… A lot………… to avoid getting a loss…….
Also, it is true to have a much easier ratio in this system… that being said, it shouldnt be a grind board…. also its rated team q… not solo .. THUS team play>solo
Backpack God went 99-0 during this rated team q season.
He has 96 points. He lost three due to a disconnect (server Dced 6 people in the game) about 1 hour ago.
At 99-0 he is ranked 402 in this leaderboard system.
Regardless of skill, it is very hard to go 99-0. Yes he played with a team at all times. That is simply the way he wanted to play. He started the season with the 2nd highest MMR in the game (2nd place on NA leaderboards) and continued to play consecutively throughout the season.
This is unacceptable. The season has been up for less than 30 days. That is approximately 3 games a day; a very reasonable amount of games for any player to be ranked on a skill based leaderboard.
How to fix?
The leaderboards need to incorporate MMR. As it stands someone can be 400-400 in a very low MMR bracket and be on the top of the leaderboards. In fact, in this system someone could be 0-400, have the lowest MMR, score 300+ points a game, and have far more points than I do.
The leaderboards cannot be a grind fest. A certain number of games should be required, but at a certain point, games played should not matter, be it 1000games in a season or 10,000 games…. players should not have to play 24/7 to be ranked high on the leaderboards…
