My question for you Gaile is….My initial Ticket Created on 8/29/2012 has now been updated….Since this ticket was labeled Account Appeal…will it still get the same response as my other ones labeled Hacked Account? Just really trying to get a grip on this whole situation….8 days later its getting rather old if you know what I mean.

Apparently my account has been restored – too bad im stuck at work and cant check it lol
Good luck to all those still in this situation, I truly feel your pain and remember your options!

Restored or unbanned?

Unbanned, and I am also assuming when i do get to log on my toons are either deleted or naked. Either way I really dont care. So long as I can play again the stuff is just stuff and can/will be replaced. The main issue has been fixed, and thats all that matters.

Could you provide details on when you submitted tickets….what the headings were so we can gauge approx the time everyone will have to wait…thanks.

I sent my first ticket in last friday aug. 31st and revised my ticket to their specs (found in the sticky at the top of the forums) on Sat. Sep. 1st.
hope that gives you some kind of timetable to expect – but its very random in my opinion – they said they cleared all tickets sent on the days I had my tickets in even though i never received a response so my ballpark guess would be 4-7 day turn around….but thats just a guess.

Yup, which is why I’d like to get a mod to respond to this, I know they’re active since other posts after this one have been answered. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with this….and if they do respond they will just direct you to another thread and instructions on how to submit a ticket…endless waiting in your future.

You should have received and email with your Key…..then you should have saved it somewhere….check your junkmail.

Good day,

I opened a Ticket last Wed stating my account had been hacked, and on Saturday I got a e-mail with my new login. GREAT! when I went to log in it said I was banned..

“Your Guildwars 2 account as been terminated for engaging in assisting with gold or item sales for real world money which is a breach of contract… "

Obviously I could not do this as the account had been hacked. My question is why would you go so far as to reset my login and password, but not cehck to see if the account had been banned for gold farmers using it for there on use?

No one has replied to my original ticket or the second ticket about the banning since saturday?? Is there number I can call or am I not getting the account back??

The problem is no one cares…..truth be told that is what I am starting to believe after 8 days of being banned.

So which is faster in fixing a banned account....?

I am thinking about contacting my credit card company for charge-back and NOT buying the game again….

I am leaning towards this option and using my refund to purchase a different game to play…or maybe even resub SWTOR…bah who knows

I have been waiting for two and a half days now for my hacked account to be returned to me. This wait time is both disappointing and unacceptable.

Raven do not expect them to handle your issue anytime soon……I have been waiting 8 days with one automated response.

All they do is tell you to submit tickets change headings and then tell you not to submit multiple tickets after telling you to.

Its a crazy crazy system they have going on…One would think that they don’t want you to play their game. If this were a pay by month game stuff would have been fixed by now…or people would just cancel subs.

It seems as only a handful of posts are being responded to by the moderators.

I do realize that they are dealing with an enormous amount of tickets…But it seems as most of the replies and advice they are giving is to wait…..which I have been doing for 8 days…

I know I am just beating a dead horse but maybe eventually I will elicit a response from an ArenaNet employee with an update on my status.

8 days and only 1 automated response from anyone concerning my hacked account.

Per the instructions of the ArenaNet team I had to submit a total of 3 tickets for my hacked account changing the title to properly funnel my tickets to the correct location.

I had high hopes of getting into this game and enjoying it…but now it seems as there is no light at the end of the tunnel and I should just be ok with the fact that I will not be playing GW2.

Guess its time to find a new game.

If anyone else reads this and has had a similar situation or if they have been reinstated post your story and inform the rest of us how long it took to get your hacked account reinstated and able to login.

Our customer support team is prioritizing hacked accounts and other blocking login issues over other types of support requests. If you submit a support ticket for a hacked account, ensure it is properly prioritized by following these instructions.

We have now completed prioritized requests submitted prior to Sunday, September 2. If you have an older ticket for a hacked account or blocking login issue that has not been completed, that means it’s not correctly prioritized. Submit a new ticket using the above instructions, and in the title write, “Blocking Login – Ticket submitted <date> – Ticket number xxxxxx-xxxxxx” (fill in the date and ticket number of your existing ticket), and we will prioritize your existing ticket. "

This is the 3rd ticket I have had to submit….even though I have followed the instructions on the previous 2 tickets to no avail…….Banned now for 7 Days.
