How/Why are you doing a 1v1 AND an 8v8 tournament on the same day?

Sounds counter intuitive.

I have developed a good DBZ style tournament bracket that allows me to keep track of individuals and teams which makes matches smoother/coordinated.

I usually host these large tournaments near holiday peaks but am in a time crunch this year. I leave to Basic Combat Training (Army) on November 16. The duration (depending on how many signup) will be 1-2 days on the weekend.

The tournament itself is covered, Streamers are always welcomed, volunteers are covered.
The only thing I need is living souls to harvest/sign-up :P

Just tried to help a guild member and could not complete because of said bug during the giants “use shield” part. Please fix. Thank you.

A good suggestion for dying (low-tier) servers is to merge their population & name the new server into something different.

A LOT of Korean MMO’s are known to merge clusters/servers when population gets too low for any competition to be held there. Doing this will give lower tier players new match-ups and establish new camaraderie for the WvW environment.

The golem rush was awesome! Although I think next time a little more in-depth explanation on what was being sold would have eased tensions for some players.

Don’t pay attention to the small negative reviews. They are mad because their servers lost horridly to their own blob game. Those people cry/complain about defeat on an average basis anyway. Not worth your time!

A new Hybrid Class
Elements include:
> A new Stance Bar: This works similar to the Thief’s “Initiative/Endurance bar”.
> 3 Legendary Stances (Demon/Dwarf/Centaur)
> New way to play the game! (Adaptable to every game style!!)
> The staff replaces as the “new hammer!” while the hammer utilizes -projectile/+chil

First, I was a bit disappointed when I saw that no progress or rewards will be saved during this beta but I am optimistic, or hope at least, that Anet allows us to keep skins (at least: incl. Celestial) or something special for participating within these beta events.

The best way to make sure people do not abuse the mystic toilet is by making beta items not flush-able (mystic toilet) and account bound without currency cost so you cannot sell it via any merchant or the black lion trading company! This will prevent those who have been recreating revenants just to get new precursors/legendaries and then whine later on how they cannot keep them. Although given that precursors are rare still, those skins should be at least unlocked to make beta worthwhile.

Second, let’s take a deeper outlook into the three stances.
> The Demon Stance invokes the power of the legendary demon Mallyx the Unyielding. Beta introduces us 1 heal skill, 3 utility skills and 1 elite skill. The best way I found to use these is by the setup: “Empowering Misery, Pain Absorption, Banish Enchantment, Unyielding Anguish, and Embrace the Darkness.” This setup allows an uncanny necro-feel where you cast conditions on the target and then absorb them all up on you to convert into boons.
> The Dwarf Stance invokes the power of the legendary dwarf King Jalis Ironhammer. This will remind you of Guardian/Paragon in the same sense your skills act more like shouts. Inspiring Reinforcement is the new stability for Revenants. Force Engagement is the new immobilization and this time taunts and slows them down! Vengeful Hammers is the most noticeable skill for now since you create a tornado of hammers that interrupt and attack foes. Perfect for both solo and groups when deflecting projectiles! Rise of the Great Dwarf only works wonders when you are facing an opponent that gives you stun. If used right, this breaks stun and immensely heals 441,252 hp.
> The Centaur Stance invokes the power of the legendary centaur Ventari. It comes with the famous “Ventari’s Will” skill that summons the pale tree tablet and the funny part is that it reminds old game veterans of a mobile version of the Ritualist gw1 class.

Third, The tablet has made the Revenant an must-dungeon tanker. Solace, Harmony and Essence used after summoning the tablet will make any boss, any dungeon easy to defeat. You don’t have to rely on speed runs, although I do think that will adapt & continue, and you can now fight anywhere benchmarking the tablet as your new mobile “stack space!” I tested it on every dungeon, including Arah and it worked wonders for Lupi and other champs!

The tablet is WvW compatible! If used correctly, I feel that WvW parties are going to integrate the rev class as a crucial squad component to remove necro boons. Existing classes are going to work harder to take this hybrid down. More problem-solving will be created and the WvW experience will be fueled with new players!

While we weren’t able to poke around water gear, which made map complete & water battles (spvp/wvw), the staff is now THE new hammer! The hammer has become a new weapon of anti-projectile destruction! Mesmers can now play the way THEY want to with the addition of a hammer-rev in the party!

While I wait for new balances/nerfs & above all more skills/weapons to try out, I do hope the community gives the rev a positive chance and if they find difficulty on their own with the above, trial & error or find an organized group to play with.

> UI freezes after using Centaur elite. Switch stance to fix.
> Cannot cancel siege items. No current fix.
> No access to black lion trading company/mail system. Intended.

When both teams coordinate to help each other, they cooperate for it. However when one or more individuals are away from keyboard, the whole team feels punished for everyone targeting them.

That’s exploiting, and even worse cheating. Please fix this in a way where you punish/kick players that afk during battles and then reorganize the team just like you have it setup in sPvP. It’s not much to ask right?

I can’t complete my 20 win achievement because the swarm of players that tried out the content, no longer play in large numbers and there are way too many afk’ing in the match. Pure disappointed after Crab Toss.

There was no chest there for me and no “Lightfoot” achievement but at least I saw the content. I also helped kill the Karka Queen and no chest there, either. Anet fail.

Thank you for the compliment and all you have to do is just avoid the red circles. As for Karka Queen it’s a known bug. Thankfully the Queen is a perm boss, so you’ll have dozens of times to score the chest. Don’t give up

Well NULL has been stealth nerfed so that his debuff at 25% no longer builds up over time. The fight can now be kitten derped by all but the most retarted of players GG anet.

Must be a bug since during and after your post, he still built hp over time. I’ve noticed last night he turned more aggressive. Though if done right, and used stability, he will still give you a challenge.

Why would scaling not make sense? Because a level 42 has an easier time surviving than a level 22 character in a level 80 zone? Your level 42 character has all of his skill slots unlocked and more traits at his disposal. Southsun is challenging to all levels, even at 80.

Also; within my 130+ 3 minute speed runs I’ve hosted, I’ve seen players come and complete NULL with level 15+ characters scaled up to 80.

Yes, and I can confirm that he has been fixed.

I wish that most of these living story events were added to the personal story. I mean, since we are living within it! I feel like ending the personal story at Zhaitan should eventually be expanded on so that the player does not feel like Zhaitan’s was the end and the monthly adventures weren’t so insignificant.

IGN: Master Saber

Imagine you are in a basketball court with Canach and competing for 15 shots.

He wants your ball, so he is going to charge you. A few occasions he’ll taunt you, but instead of you letting it get to your head, you cast “stability” on yourself. You disarm the closest mine, preferably a land (explosive) or gas (condition) mine and at the moment he thinks he’s about to make a “steal”, you double drill – “fake” and make him land on the mind.

The rest is just using #1 scan ability to see the range of all discharged mines. Run around and make him lose his “endurance” by just repeating the above tactic and you’ll ace Canach (solo) with little no issue.

Thank you for the compliment! Before I log-in everyday, I always check on the forums to see if there are any people having a hard time. Those that are I add to the list and then I take them off once I confirm or show them how to do it in-game.

I did mention ignoring turent unless they are right near NULL or he’s sheilded with no way to remove.
By all means I’m not saying don’t join Sabre on his speed runs, It’s really great he’s offering his time to help out the players.
However if you’re like me and prefer to do things yourself or with your mates then this guide is for you.

No ill-intentions were made, as I was just contributing with free suggestions.
The more methods the merrier, even though it’s a bit lengthy for some people like me. What I meant was just run NULL over explosive land mines and gas mines. Gas mines will “necro” the boss and turrets @ that point will hurt NULL more than aid it.

Hope that makes more sense.

Hey Kaboose! Master Saber here. Just watched your video and my suggestions are as follows:
1. You don’t need to concentrate on turrets. I understand your method is trying to be very similar to Arena Net’s guide but turrets are a waste of time (They will re-spawn way too fast & the entire battle will take way too long).

2. Also, have your party kill clones when luring/pushing NULL into a mine. Stick pets on NULL when he’s right next to a mine and it will distract the boss from the players, allowing instant (if not repeated) episodes of disarming mines.

3. Your upload is great, but the encounter seems too long. If players whom have tried your method cannot still get it; I’ll be available until June 5 for free 3 minutes (or less) speed runs.

Update for 6/3 3AM PST – Just finished my 105th 3m free speed run NULL/LF. If you’re interested in the 106th run, Leave a PMsg & I’ll add you when I wake up
