Would I be right to assume you do infact need 1 of each race to get all of the achievements done? i.e. to cover the personal story/cultural ones
Its not really a concern right now, as I’m just screwing around having a good time with the game when I can.. but obviously its nice to know in the long run
Fair enough
The only drawback I could see in being thorough about clearing zones is the potential for repair costs if you die.. but generally speaking I don’t get into situations where I might die unless my ISP goes belly up and even then, most of the time I login alive :P
I’ll keep going as i am.. although I dont care about daily/monthlys, has to be said I’m knocking the environmental based ones without actually trying which is a nice bonus
I don’t play a whole bunch, its more of an “as/when” basis, much like with gw1 where I appreciated the fact I could shelve it for weeks, come back and pick up where I left off, this was core to picking up gw2 when it launched as I enjoy a few different games.. I don’t like putting all of my free time into 1 thing because you tend to get bored of it/burnout quicker (too much of a good thing)
Its not an optimal way to play, but at the end of the day i have a good time playing it when I’m in the mood for it
Just wondering how people approach leveling and unlocking zones.
Do you unlock every zone within your level range as you go up, or do you simply push to 80 and go back to them at a later point (I’ve mostly been doing it for the quick skillpoints, plus the transmutation stones + occasional black lion keys are nice for completing one)
Pretty poor timing on my part
I thought as a reward for setting up a new system I’d give the game another look and perhaps spend some money as theres some sort of special on with their store
But its not letting me do anything, I can’t even convert gold to gems
I believe the source of purchasing your liceanse is irrelevent as I bought mine through Arena net itself when the game launched, and have the same issue as previous posters
does the grumpy old norn they partner you with when you join the vigil count?
I thought it was kinda funny they used the colonel voice actor from metal gear for that guy, kept thinking “why does this sound familier”
I love the engineer, especially the backpacks, but this issue of having to re-enable the same thing over and over is getting very old
I hope they look into it and soon
