What they need to do is remove this map from most of the servers…. i HATE IT and always have to leave and join another server. Some people may like it so leave it on some servers… but remove it from most.
Just made a ranger.. tooltip says it causes bleed, not causing bleed… what’s up with that?

The only elite the engineer can now take is supply crate. Elixir X is awful, useless and lazy on the part of Anet . The mortar is also fairily useless…. maybe useful in WvW.
What I would liek t see is elixir X replaced with something useful. Summon Golem, become a golem, call in an artillery stroke. Something useful.
Big bomb and slick shoes. Bombs in general.
This is a very weird bug. In PVE when i run a bomb kit and med kit when i switch to med kit, and try to switch back to my weapon it just switches back to med kit…
I run the same 2 kits in SPvP and never have this issue.

my internet is fine, they had the same issue in beta where some area’s lagged
Happens too frequently often-times making it unplayable…. like right now.
try bomb kit for PVE… there is no reason to EVER use shield for PVE…. ever.
If you want to stack might this is what you do. Juggernaut, might on healing skill, might on elixers.
5 + 9 + 3… technically you can get 17 stacks of might out of combat. Pop 8 elixers (B giving 2 might after trait) get 5 might from flame thrower and switch into your med kit to get 3 might.
Why would you ever use pistol/shield for PvE o_O
Pull like 4-5 mobs and bomb kit/flame turret. Mobs hit slow so you can blind and AOE.
Im talking about SPvP.
If you are going condition you are almost forced to go pistol/pistol. After the bleed nerf an engineer that relies on pistol shield does such crappy damage its sad. You can augment that with rocket boots but it has a long cooldown and the rocket boot escape is so bugged its suicide to use.
I really would like to use the shield again
Also make shield reflect usable while moving.
I actually tested this and no it does not fail because of a control spell being applied like a stun or a cripple. Sometimes it just fails.
If it is suppose to be a AOE its the dumbest AOE i have ever seen. The volley is only good if all the darts hit…. what is the point if youdo 500 damage over 5 seconds.
Right now the rocket boots are fairly useless for escapes. The burn on the toolbelt is good and thats why i use them but 90% of the time escape with them is suicide.
Even if you dont just fall over, by the time you get up they are on you again.

take the rabit amulet, undead runes and sigils of earth and fire.
Only downside of this build is your only interrupt is your elite. Also remember to use Elixer S for stomping and rezzing.
Mostly because I cannot stand to see posters making false claims and spreading misinformation of this sort.
Every where I turn here lately folks are claiming that something is “broken” just because it doesn’t work ideally for them. I do not appreciate it and will call them on it. If they do not wish to be called on it, then they should stop making false claims.
Thus discussion has been brought up in the betas and it was explained to be as I mentioned, a frontal cone AoE. With coated bullets, it is very handy to hit multiple enemies, with a heal negations and a solid damage tic.
You are wrong. It is bugged. Poison Volley is BROKEN. If you look sometimes it will shoot exactly like the warriors volley…. sometimes it will miss and go all over the place. So unless Anet made it be an “AOE” sometimes and a single target attack sometimes…. you are clearly wrong.
Glue shot only lasts 3 secs at most
Dude its a bug. Im chasing down a target in range, he is not dodging and 2 out of 5 darts hit…. just miss for no reason.
no one have an opinion on this?
1) – flame jet – fix it from missing
2) – flame blast – make it a 2 skill combo with the blast being triggered. 5 sec aow blind on blast
3) – Blowback – replace blowback with backdraft from beta (AOE pull with burn). This makes way more sense for the kit as its a close range kit.
4) – Napalm – Make this be like the ranger torch, a circular AOE vs a wall.
5) – New skill – Similar to the elementalist flame roll. Small AOE damage, 1 sec burn + flame wall while evading and rolling back.
This would make the frame thrower a weapon kit on its own. Also fix incendiary ammo. Make it work like a passive skill vs active. 10% chance for 1 second burn on all projectile attacks. (5 sec cooldown)

Why cant Anet explain how sigils work. IF i have a earth and fire on my pistols.. will they both proc, do they have the same cooldown? how does this work?
Well if i go rifle i have big damage and tones of cc. This is what im saying… the power build has tons of cc. Net show, overcharge shot, battering ram, big o bomb… all power based cc. With condition builds its shield or you cant interrupt anyone.
Exactly Karast. They need to fix the flight, make you evade in flight and remove the self CC
problem is if you are condition build you need rocket boots to do steady burn damage

Incendiary ammo is so bugged right now.
Saying go shield doesn’t solve the problem that bot only would the stun work better for the weapon layout but there are no condition based interrupts you can take as a condition engineer. Other then the worthless flamethrower.
They should fix its consistency and remove the self CC

I think a 1 sec stun would work much better for a pistol/pistol build. You can stun your target get close for torch. It would also be useful in stopping stomps… my pistol/pistol build works well but I cant do anything when I see someone getting stomped as i have no interrupts

- Rocket boots bugs out and launches you no where, you just fall over right where you started.
- Poison volley- Some shots miss even though you are in range
- Blowtorch, blunderbuss and flame thrower 1 ability miss on strifing targets.
- Throw healing elixir gives like 1 sec of protection , should be 3
- Elixirs don’t work in clock tower
don’t even talk to me about the rocket boots stun break.. 90% of the time its a suicide button… you just fall over at the feet of your enemy lol
god I have the flamethrower. Was a good weapon before they removed the backdraft… you would think they would have removed the blowback instead if they wanted to give it less control… sigh.
How well would it have worked with rocketboots.. suck everyone in and kick everyone in the face…. or even suck eveyone in and hit them with the 1 skill.

It still sucks. Yes they kind of fixed it but it has a huge landing delay.
I say change it to a stun shot or a interrupt like the mesmer.

agreed, just scrap it, it bad.
Rocket boots need some work.
1) The escape works maybe 60% of the time, the rest of the time it just makes you fall over at the feet of your enemy
2) The toolbelt skill, rocket kick needs to be a interrupt. A stun or something. There are no condition based knock backs/stuns. If you go pistol pistol you are screwed for any knockbacks unless you take something that scales with power kittening yourself.
Fast acting elixir trait not working with Elixir S . Tooltip cooldown updates but the actual cooldown stays 60 secs instead of 48

how is it OP? i laugh at engineers that try to attack me with it. Right now it has a short range, misses when you move and no way to close the gap…. has a knock back.
