Everyone saying this whole lottery crap doesn’t understand what they are saying.

Atleast with some lotteries there are PHYSICAL numbers being rolled around in the cage to be hand picked by someone and chosen a winner. This randomly programmed garbage that Anet is shoveling out IS NOT A LOTTERY.

Please stop calling this a lottery, I would feel better about these chests if it truly was based on luck or random chance, but it’s not. It’s been programmed by a bunch of wigs that don’t want the odds in your favor and certainly don’t want them to be handed out to everyone, for reasons that i don’t need to explain.

Playing this so called “lottery” everyone keeps talking about is about as stupid as playing online poker with real money and trying to keep it honest by only using one computer… while all the other players are simply bots that only have 1 motivation, to keep you from winning.

So, if you believe that there is an island out there just for special little you, and there is a “lottery” every night that chooses one of you to go there.. don’t get mad when you are woken up and they are cutting open your “chest” to retrieve organs for someone more important than you.

I played through about half of the aweful laggy act 1 until my computer crashed and haven’t bothered to login and try the rest of the acts since.

From what I hear, glad I decided to not waste any more time on this one.

also, like when they first attacked, it took like 100 shots just to kill one of them.. yeah thats kinda how it felt.

if there’s anything this event has shown me, it’s that standing around for hours shooting at large creatures with absolutely no skill involved in BORING… please stop giving these things billions and billions of hp, its not fun.

I sure as hell won’t be spending any more money on this crap.

All the champions are pointless, after a bunch killed and no decent loot at all I find them a waste of time since they feel like just a grind to kill them.

I’d rather see them hit harder or move faster(or something) with alot less hp, that way they could still be a challenge without feeling like a big time sink. Better loot would help too of course

While in combat, it would be nice to know when we are moving slow, this would also help signify that we are still in combat because sometimes i’m not very sure if I am or not..

For the description “You are moving slower than molasses.”

it’s a lottery. when you bet in the lottery, do you complain that you have to spend thousands of dollars to win? no.

Of course they want your money. It’s a business that requires money to run.

The important there here is that you don’t have to give them any if you don’t want to. So why complain like you’re being charged a monthly fee?

The important thing also here is that like me, the hundreds possibly thousands that feel like they wasted money on nothing will possibly never spend money in the store again, and why should we throw money away? If Anet likes money so much as you claim, maybe they start thinking of ways to sustain multiple transactions out of people over a longer period of time rather than a single use scam that will make ppl turned off to buying ever again..

While all other worth-while Halloween stuff is removed; clocktower, dungeon, etc that actually give you a chance at looting something Halloween themed, there are still the Halloween items up for sale in the gem store that don’t do much or rather a very slim chance of doing much(Black Lion keys i’m looking at you).

But hell, they’ll still take your money from worthless gemstore related Halloween items. “For sale only during the Halloween season” mind you… So what is it, are we still in the buying season of Halloween but not the looting season of Halloween anymore???

Oh also, I loved how October ended early according to you guys, monthly achievement-wise. That deserves another well earned hat tip /tiphat

The store home page specifically says to “Discover the secrets of the Black Lion Chest”, not “Discover how much money we can scam out of you”

Isn’t the point of Halloween so that EVERYONE can dress up and have fun???

is it just me or is the purpose of the monetization in this game a scam?

I loved the challenge, whoever quit before finishing either doesn’t have the skill(which is unfortunate) or doesn’t have the perseverance in anything they probably do, in life and game or otherwise.

please add more like the Clock Tower challenge, I thought it was great fun!

fix this or get rid of the chests that give the keys as they serve no purpsose
