I actually started looking into a condi build today and came up with something very similar to this. Other than runes (which I haven’t decided on) the only differences where that I wanted to use the new Viper gear (Power, Prec, Condi Dam, Condi Dur) and take Soothing Bastion instead of Elder’s Force
Looking for a good build for doing solo PvE content in HoT with a chrono. Right now I’m this.

I’m still working on getting hero points for the last rank of chrono traits and a few missing wells.
Any advice?
I really think there is either a bug or some of the underwater stuff is not finished. The only two legends that I see working underwater are assassin and demon. The other two do not work at all underwater. (I havent unlocked glint yet so i cant comment on it.)
Natsu, have you given any thought to the Tormenting runes? Seems with scepter block applying 5 stacks of torment on a fairly short cd they might be worth considering.

I noticed it too. Irritating since I thought i had all of them and didn’t get the achievement.
Noticed mine was missing about 2 hours ago. Glad to know its not just me and that they’re working on it.
My only toon is a mesmer; I love my mes; but ever since sword and focus nerf the COMBAT has been degrading making it no FUN! ANET; sword on a mesmer is the only THEE only MEELE weapon why are nerfing it? no fun! ik they nerfed it a while back but since then i’ve noticed sword focus is ridiculously lame though, they’re not OP WHY NERFF ITT!!!!!!!! it’s the ONLY MEELE WEAPON

I am unable to view anything in the TP. I can open the window and move between sections like currency exchange and buy/sell. But none of the windows have anything in them.
Anyone have an idea?
Most mesmer builds don’t have a larger amount of condition cleanse ability but I would almost always recommend running null zone as one of your utilities. I’ve seen some good arguements for phant disenchanter but I have yet to try it.

Not sure what my style would be called.. (Phantasm?)
After the last patch I “optimized” my build, but it did not change very much the way I play (ah well, I shatter way less)..
I am only playing pve..
I use gs for iZerkie and sword + focus for iWarden.
traits: 0/ 20/ 0/ 25/ 25
I boosted my phantasm with several traits and use DE.
But in my opinion my power is quite good, too (attack ~ 3000), critical chance is not that bad (~50%) and also my critical damage (55%).
I feel more effective compared to before the last patch, I think I really found a way to improve my mesmer.As utilities I use 3 signets (inspiration, illusion, midnight) and I use Timewarp to support my group.
Maybe not the perfect setup for everyone, but I like it. :-)
This is the exact same talent build I’m running. But I use staff instead of GS and go with Null zone, blink, and feedback
Stats, yes. Weapon damage, no. Kits have their own base weapon damage, which is roughly equivalent to rares of the same level that the user is. However, they use the stat bonuses and sigils of your equiped weapon(s).
