The requirements are far too low. AN can do better. My opinion is: multiply by maybe three and we’re good.

Also.. everything should be character bound on aquire ofc. Because its fun.
And dungeons tokens shoukld be only from one (hardest) explorable path it will be far more hard and challenging then.

Also… this is not grind. There is no grind in GW2. I saw this statement in numerous movies on yt and develper interviews.

Regardless of numbers and balancing this is great idea – they should hire you.

I unnistalled Gw2 yesterday and im going back to RIFT. I bought exp pack and 2 months sub.

I have 17 lvl already and i decorate my first house (dimension) and its deeper, more engaging and rewarding that anything in GW2.

But besides RIFT i lost interest in MMOs. I MAY check TESO but i dont belive it will be any good. It will be GW2 all over again.

I agree that its more arcade and dynamic in GW2 but GW1 have far more depth and skill (in terms of brain usage not ordinary reflexes like fps game) when it comes to combat.

They added casting while runing and they take everything else that makes GW1 combat fun, rewarding and unique.

3 months of awesomness? Didnt i get the memo? Because for me it was 3 months of open world zergfests and most shallow PvE content ever, weak storyline, weak character progression and insane grind even for simple crafting.

GW1 > GW2 in EVERY SINGLE ASPECT. Post and before Lost Shores Patch.

You managed to create game totally different from your own Magnum Opus aka Guld Wars 1.
You managed to create a “AN MMO Manifesto” and literally NOTHING form this manifesto is in the game. This movie is ONE BIG LIE. Maybe biggest in the genre ever.

And after 3 month of game lifespan you managed to broke all your promises and include gear treadmill and gated content and now we have “GW2 a WoW Clone”.
I dont even mention that whole game is HORRENDOUS GRIND (lvl 80 stuff * crafting).

Also you had game with great story, superior character development, hard and challenging PvE content and the best PvP in the genre (GW1) and you create shallow game with almost no char development, weak storyline and most bland outworld PvE content that i ever see (dragons im watching at you) in my life and standard PvP with only one gamemode.

CON… GRA… TU… LA… TIONS !!

I know this topic will be deleted but let know this AN… GW1 veteran and all campaingns finished with Rank 13 is DISSAPOINTED.
I hope you will live well with your new target. On my list atm you are as deep as new Blizzard.

First of all – i will be using european time zones because im from europe.

We all know that Lion Arch event will start on 16 November at 9PM CET…
We all know that Free Trial starts today at 6PM CET

but….

when the ‘real’ patch will come? Patch with all new content and clas changes and game changes? Im much more interested in current game changes and fixing broken stuff than in a new content and one time event.

When the servers will go down for patching? When we can read the patch notes? How long downtime will be? Etc… Etc…

I dont understand why An is so quiet about this thing a day before big update.

Or maybe i cant find this info. Then sorry and plz links.

I hope not. Its a waste of developers time.

I dont care about difficulty level and frustration/fun but i care about that this kind of content is basically one-time minigame completely not attached to main game (out of place).

I think this kind of content should not be ‘abused’ in MMO’s.
This game isheavily instanced and i think that making even more instanced minigames that are disconnected from main world will not help game longevity.
I would prefer that they do 5 more events in open PvE world to make world more livind and varied that waste time for one time ‘fun tower’.

In short words: i dont play MMO’s for instanced, cheap super mario bros wannabe ripoffs.

And if AN want to do this kind of content they can basically port Super Mario to the game – it will be faster and far better that content like Clockwork Tower.

I dont even mention a fact that as almost everything in GW2 is very poorly tested and the engine and camera in GW2 is not very friendly for this kind of content (timed, very fast runs). Its not a console game.
