Is it just the Maw that is crashing folks? I have heard people say it was an event, but was it the same event? Let’s get some clues together since ANET isn’t saying anything so far. I am sure they are working on it, but lets be honest, they are not the best at communicating with their community during a crisis. Maybe we the players can figure out how to protect ourselves from the crash until they say something.

UPDATE!!! If you log into a different character, it does not crash. The one I just completed an event for (MAW) still crashes but others can still log in and not crash. I just would not recommend completing an event with that character until they get a fix.

Just delivered the killing blow to Boss at Maw, crashed. Reload, log in, select character, loading into Wayfarer’s, CRASH. Repeated 3 times, came here….

Now that we have SAB, lets look at one of the most popular genres of mini-games, Tower Defense. Kongregate has thousands of mini-games and the Tower Defense themes are the fan favorite. There are several different styles and all are fun, challenging, and popular. Please check out Kingdom Rush , Cursed Treasure , Gemcraft , and Desktop Tower Defense. If GW2 had a mini-game like this, I am sure we would all spend many fun filled hours playing them. If they dropped crafting mats or copper, that would be awesome.

It would also be cool if we could throw 4 in the forge for a chance at something different or allow us to salvage them. Only being able to vendor them is quite disappointing.

So I need a recipe for a celestial weapon in order to use them? Thanks!

I made a few of the Celestial Inscriptions to craft some Exotics to get my level up. Having used the last of the wood on these I come to find they don’t show up in my Discovery Panel, so now I am stuck with Celestial Inscriptions I can’t sell or put on my Weapons to craft them. Is this a bug or am I just dumb, or both?

Customer Service. What does that mean? I can tell you when my food comes late or is missing a key component, I address it with management. Good Customer service people give you something extra to compensate you for your trouble VICE saying nothing and never coming back. I had a bad experience ordering online with Chipotle. I complained to the manager and he blew me off, so I complained on their website. The website sent me 5 free meal tickets and “had a talk” with the store manager. That is customer service. Compensate for the loss/delay AND fix the issue.

OBTW, I spent almost a gold scrambling around to finish my 8th achievement so I could get my wings tonight, only to find it was bugged and I could have walked and taken my sweet time getting there rather than blowing silver on each over priced WP hop.

So it is out of the frying pan an into the failing nuclear reactor. If you’re lucky enough to get into the main district, you live with crushing lag that prevents us from using skills. Unfortunately unless you get there 15 minutes prior to the event, you are moved to the overflow and miss the whole thing.

I think they should kick guests to the overflow when a “citizen” of the server wants to come into the map.

Since the update I have done my “Daily” Dragons and found that in the evening when most people are on, I get into the frey of battle and then skills 6 through 0 wont work and it looks as if I am not even wanding the dragon. Things are super laggy and at the end, even though I am pounding away although it does not look like it, I get a Silver at the end and the chest coughs up a few blues and greens and MAYBE a yellow. I am not alone here as many have complained of the same issues.

Ironically when I try to submit a bug report, that crashes the client too. Hope you guys have a bead on this one and fix it quick. Sucks missing out on a chance of an exotic and wasting a consumable or two to get a silver and end chest full of junk based on poor performance.

I have google searched my buns off and cannot figure out how to get or craft a Superior Sigil Of Battle, short of buying one off the trading post or getting lucky enough to get a drop and salvaging it from a weapon.

Am I missing something or is that pretty much the only two ways?

Was doing story line with 2 friends, “Armor Guard” Tanks never rolled but we moved to the next waypoint anyway to advance story. Ballista Gear Grind was always under attack so we could never talk to her to advance the story. Can I get my 3sp back for armor repairs fighting never ending waves of enemies while trying to rez the NPC? We all became overcome and realized we would never get to talk to her and just quit

For me the hardest part is wondering if someone will take the names I wanted from my other non-linked accounts before I have a chance to use them. Not fun getting on every morning and every evening, going through the whole character creation process only to find the name is still reserved.

The juice is surely not worth the squeeze, but it would be nice if the name (which is the only restrictive part of character creation) was the first thing you did when creating a character. How frustrating to get all the way to the end and find the name is taken or reserved. How much easier and less frustrating if that was the FIRST decision you make in character creation.

I have been working on the Survivor achievement and so when I log out, I make sure to do so in safe places where there are no enemies, like Lion’s Arch(LA), yet somehow the last 2 times I logged back into LA, I was dead. I died in front of the Tailoring Station the first time and a second time in front of a Merchant.

I submitted a bug report the second time, however perhaps I am mistaken and there are some threats to players who log out in “safe places”. If I am wrong, please let me know so others can know and let us know where we are safe. If I am right, please tell us that you are working on the issue and when it will be resolved.

I am in the same boat. I had 3 accounts in GW1 and did not want to kill my characters to consolidate names. I am patiently waiting for the names to be unlocked, but would like some communication as to when I can expect it. It is a little frustrating to log in twice a day and try to make a character, only to get to the end and see that it is still reserved. Regina! Help!
