Honestly these threads need to stop, and start making threads that help make the game better.
Btw, night capping is a legit strategy you mad?So you started a new thread about how there shouldn’t be so many threads and end it with the popular meme from 2003, “you mad”. What are you, my dad? Get current!
.
The real question is, how does HoD do during prime time when all participants have queues on all servers? That’s the real measure.
Night capping is “legit” but you have to admit there’s little skill required to defeat outnumbered opponents. People whine over the scoreboard but it’s usually a boon to the “losing” servers because there’s a lot more money, XP and karma rewarded for defense than for offense.
Well then you would also have to admit that while teaming up with another server is legit, it too requires little skill.
Not you specifically but I have seen many people on these forums complain about night caps and being outnumbered and then boast about the weekend when they had the other server outnumbered two to one.
Some drops have increased markedly like butter, walnuts, cinammon sticks and a few others.
What I find time consuming is that only certain areas have certain items. Vanilla beans seem only common to the Sylvari jungle, Turnips much better in Norn areas, etc, etc, and in order to get certain mats like lemons, apples, cummin, etc, you must go to areas far from your areas level progression.
That said it’s not hard, just time consuming and Anet always said it would be a karma sink.
one thing that always annoyed me about crafting in any game dealing with cooking. When you kill a whole cow you might get 1 slab of meat… it’s a whole freaking cow and if that’s all you can get you need to learn to skin and butcher.
More of a reality rant for my last paragraph but I don’t see why they can’t up the amounts need to cook and make banquet coarse meals the real progression and single items less of a XP boast and less of a buff.

All one has to do is look at the Trading Post to see there is a problem.
When Tier 1 materials are as expensive as tier 3 and 4 it tells you that people are having to farm materials long after their level has progressed.
Crafting should closely follow the level progression and the end game crafting should be the grind. As it is now copper ore is 20C, Iron is 7C. platimun is 12C and Mithril is 27C. Jute scraps are 30C, Cotton 16C, Wool 19C, linen 12C and silk 25C.
That’s the market equivalent of Aluminum being a precious Metal and Denim jeans the same as designer silks.
This is clearly not a good market atmosphere and the market doesn’t lie.
