Hmm I guess there are none of the energy collectors in the Deldrimor Front. Guess I just saw that a big portion of a new area was in the center of the map in one of the images and jumped to the conclusion we would get to go to that area. Kinda disappointing if we don’t actually get to go to the new zone.
I do see your theory makes sense, but I feel like something has to make sense with the two images of the Deldrimor Fronts. Maybe its just wishful thinking on my part that we are going there, but I feel like it would be weird to throw those two images in and do nothing with them.
Why would the Pact be of little use now that they killed Zhaitan. Wouldn’t they be more of a threat since they successful defeated an Elder Dragon which would make them an obstacle to beat if she was actually a Champion of Primordius since she would be the one awakening him. Also I don’t think it is very plausible that the thumper’s are mapping the underground. It’s more likely she is tapping into the energy in the ley lands of the world. Just like how we found out in fractals that the Inquest was doing the same thing with the thurmanova reactor. And it seems like its a little far fetched to go through all of this just so she can have some reinforcement for what she digs up.
Honestly, I still don’t fully understand why she’s doing this. Either she just became bat kitten crazy which seems kind of like it or she wants power from Primordius and thats why she is trying to free/get to him. But yes she could very much be the Champion of Primordius
Now these are not a hundred percent, but I am going to take what was given to us in Scarlet’s Secret Room as hints. This will be going over the 4 images given to the player when you get the password to the console and about what I think Scarlet saw in the eternal alchemy.
Spoilers——————— You have been warned—————-
Sorry, but I am not including images of what she shows you. I want people to actually see them for themselves when they do the living story. Or just look them up they are posted somewhere by now.
The 4 Images.
First, I will go over the image of what looks to be a drill. For anyone who watches Wooden Potatoes on youtube. Wooden Potatoes stated that during an interview with the developers at Riot they said that the sing floating about the Marionette would be significant later on. Now the thing floating over the Marionette definitely does look like the picture of the drill that you see in what looks to be a blue print. What the drill will be used for I will explain a little later on.
Secondly, there is then the image of the map where there are four “X” and arrows pointing to them. After awhile I was able to figure out that if you zoom out on the world map about 50% you can tell them that the “X” in the middle is Lions Arch and the other three "X"’s represent the bases of the Order of Whispers, Durmand Priory and the Vigil. Also on this map there are black circles which I believe are the energy collectors.
Before I do the last two images I would like to talk about how Scarlet definitely saw something to do with an Elder Dragon when she looked into the Eternal Alchemy. I believe this even more so by when inside her Secret Room under the Durmand Priory there is a dragon painted on the wall in blood. But at this point if it turns out not to be a dragon I’d be very surprised and pretty annoyed.
Now then there are the two other images that just show maps and black circles. At first I just decided this were maps showing energy collectors, but I decided to find where those pieces of land are on the map. These two images show the area to the West of Fields of Ruins and to the North East of Mount Maelstorm. This area is the DELDRIMOR FRONT.
Here is where things get interesting and I believe will tie together. Scarlet is going to attack Lions Arch, The Vigil, The Order of Whispers, and The Durmand Priory. The whole point of this attack is to cripple or destroy the force that created The Pact. The reason for this is I believe Scarlet is trying to help a dragon and before she can help that dragon she needs to hurt the force that was able to destroy Zhaitan which is the only Elder Dragon we have seen so far.
The Deldrimor Front is where the dwarfs were before they went underground after turning themselves into stone to fight PRIMORDIUS (the next dragon we fight will be primordius). Now the dwarfs are keep Primordius at bay stopping him from coming to the surface. Whats the best way of getting Primordius to the surface…. you guessed it a giant kitten drill that can go straight down into the earth and make a big hole for him to come out of.
This is all I’ve really noticed this far and would love to see what people think on this theory, but I believe I am right.
tldr
Scarlet will attack Lions Arch, The Durmand Priory, The Vigil and The Order of Secrets (these forces make up the Pact) since they were able to combine forces and take out an Elder Dragon. We will be going to the Deldrimor Fronts to stop Scarlet from using her giant drill (the thing above the Marionette) to create a way for Primordius to get the surface (Scarlet saw Primodrius in the Eternal Alchemy).
Edit: According to gw2wikia when looking up the Champions of Dragons.
“The champions also seem to play a role in the awakening of the dragons”
“Some comments by the developers have suggested that the dragons use their champions to gather some sort of magical energy for their awakening by assimilating more beings into the dragon armies” (this could be the reason she is gathering energy using the energy collectors all over the map. -suggested by ViralVarda

OMG WTF why has silver ore doubles cost in like 4 hours. I was going to do some crafting and I was like holy kitten wtf. Can someone explain to me why this is happening?
Yeah he wasn’t only doing it to Arah sellers he was merging parties together for anyone doing Arah. Heitred.5729 is the person who has been doing this forawhile. Don’t care if you aren’t supposed to say peoples names. He was also going into parties who were telling people not to post through the lfg and changing their descriptions so people couldn’t advertise to others to not post.
For too long has Devona’s Rest suffered defeat at the hands of the Elder Dragons and the scourge known as Tequatl. We must take action in order to right this injustice and prevent further defeats within our realm. To appease our Dragon overlords we have decided to march from our home in Divinity’s Reach through Kryta, the Shiverpeaks and the Maguuma jungle into Orr, at the gates of Arah and sacrifice Tyria’s most useless, servile and deplorable creature…the pathetic seacow known as the quaggan.
On November 10th at 1pm server time (3pm central, 4pm eastern) we begin our march with the Quaggan sacrifice. We will start in Divinitys Reach, pass through Queensdale, Gendarran Fields into Lornar’s Pass, Mount Maelstrom, into Orr and eventually Arah itself. The march is approximately 4 hours long so food and refreshments will be served before we head out on our journey.
Devona’s will REST NO MORE! After we feed this little blue squishmonster into Zhaitan’s maw we know the Dragon gods will grant us their favor and give us the strength to defeat Tequatl the Sunless. Come and join in our grand sacrifice!!
Come along for a fun time and afterwards we will be attempting to do Tequatl with hopes that the sacrifice has worked. We would love to see a huge turnout for this event and would love to see everyone who shows up.
For more information please feel free to message myself (Runningblade) or Rufusaen Blackstone.

Still the cost of this weapon nearly rivals Eternity. And even if the fangs were to hit the lowest possible price of 37 copper. It will still cost 370gold for the fangs alone.
Arachnophobia costs only 185gold on the TP right now, but it is worth the money to buy it now before the price raises exponentially.
Gift of spiders needs:
40 Elonian Wine = 25Silver x 40 = 10gold
100 High- Quality Fangs = 1000 Plastic Fangs * 100 * 1.5s = 1500gold
10 Cystalline dust * 14s = 1.4gold
10 candy corn cob = 1000 candy corn * 10 * 69c = 69gold
Just for the gift of spiders you need 1580.4 gold.
So yeah but those Arachnophobias on the TP for about 1/10th the cost. Probably the people who have those up right now should take them out and reprice them.
Edit: I read somewhere that is is only 10 high quality fangs needed and that Anet just put a typo in the patch notes….. Good job reading over stuff Anet.

Sorry I was gone for a second. So the best way I would see is to try kill all the aetherblades in the front. The achievement is just to make sure to finish them off after he is dead. If you could clear out all but on the back corners and leave one veteran alive. I think you could pull the boss without aggroing him because of how short there leash range is. Just make sure to put a target on the one you want kept alive in the probably top back corner and kill all the other crew. Then fight the boss on the opposite side so that the aetherblade won’t pull. You think that’d work?
Yeah I feel like some of the parts need to actually be a little harder. Foreman Spur was so ridiculously easy to fight and I only got hit by him like twice the whole fight.
FINAL BOSS FIGHT – ClockHeart
Okay so this fight is really tough and I will try to explain it the best I can.
Regular attacks – always dodge even if he is not facing you
1. Cone Knockback – He will charged up and slam the ground, but
sometime he will do a 180 right before hitting the ground and hit
you. So always always just dodge.
2. Aoe Immobilize – You will see a big red circle underneath the boss
and he will slam the ground. If you do not get out of the circle or
dodge you will be immobilized and take some damage. Try to dodge
this because it will make it impossible to avoid the cogs.
3. Cogs from Hell – Clockheart will throw cogs at every single player,
clone and summoned ally in the area. The cogs will go to where you
were at the exact time it was throw so just moving around will
allow you to dodge. BUT if you get immobilized or downed you are
for sure dead.
Invulnerability Phase- Clockheart will take no damage and start
gaining stacks. Once he gains 30 stacks he will punch the ground 5
times each doing massive damage and knocking you back. To stop
this you will need to get one of the HOLOGRAPHIC STRIKERS and get
him right next to ClockHeart. When you kill the Holographic Striker
RIGHT NEXT TO ClockHeart he will explode and stop the stacks from
going up. It is a good thing to note that Clockheart is only
invulnerable while the stacks are rising, when you explode the
hologram on him they will start slowly going down and you can
damage him again even though he will still have some stacks for a
short time. If you do not succeed in stopping his full stacks then one
quarter of the room will be electrified until you blow up a hologram
on him, but if you fail again at stopping him from getting full stacks
then another quarter of the room will be electrified.
How to beat the fight-
This fight is pretty easy in theory. Dps the boss and make sure you
know where the Hologram is. As soon as ClockHeart starts
gaining stacks instantly have the entire group run behind the
hologram and wait to kill it until they are RIGHT ON TOP OF
EACH OTHER. Keep up this pattern of dodging his attacks and
dpsing him and you will get the hang of it after a few attempts.
Tips: You can use the thief and mesmer pulls to get the
holograms onto ClockHeart. For some reason the Guardian
GS pull does not work.
I hope this guide helps people. It is probably not the best guide, but I have not seen any others up yet and I think this will help people a little. Sorry I am not posting how to do the after boss events because my group was not able to complete them all since we spent all our time trying to figure out how to do 2 of the chests and it would be very hard to type out to find all the chests. If I have missed anything important feel free to post it so others may see it. I hope everyone can have as much fun in this dungeon as I did and thank you Anet for this amazing dungeon.
Electricity Room – Switch to town Clothes
For this part there will be 4 platforms around the room (make sure not to stand
on them at the beginning or you will all get thrown off them and die.) You will
need to get one person onto each on them one at a time going from platform
to platform as the last platform your team has gotten to will be your spawn
location on death. If you hit any electricity on your way there you will get a
debuff above your head and you will not be able to stand on the next platform
as it will knock you away. You will need to watch how the electricity moves one
square at a time and make your way to the platform so your team can get
there after you as it deactivates the requirement of having no debuff to stand
on it. Once one person is on each platform, your fifth member will need to kite
the Holographic Thug from the opposite side to the door and then kill him to
open it. EVERYONE ELSE needs to stay on their platforms or the Holographic
Thug will despawn.
Tip: Have your tankiest person kite the holo and warrior sword
leap is great for getting from platform to the next one since you
can clear 80% of the electricity.
Pre-Nightmare Tree – Holographic Generators
There is going to be 8 holographic generators around ClockHeart (the
nightmare tree). Your group will need to kite around the room destorying the
holograph aetherblades next to the generator to make them explode and
damage the generators. Also the floor will be electrified in segments as you go
in a counter clockwise pattern so just run around the room slowly killing each
one. After you finish doing this the ClockHeart will begin. Do not worry if you
wipe the first time, you will not have to do the holographic generator thing
again.
Just finished the new dungeon and wow is it amazing. This does not need buffing or nerfing because it is perfect the way it is. I know people are going to have a hard time with it, but honestly it wasn’t too difficult.
Tips and Strategy.
Oozes –
Do not try to kill the fire elementals as it’s a waste of time. Have 1 person on each side kiting and 1 person on each side just attacking each elemental to gain aggro on it. Have one person rolling back and forth to each side helping whichever side needs help. It took my group a few tries, but also the person running can help by stunning elementals. I was using a thief and just spam headshot on the elementals as i kited the ooze through.
Slick and Sparkki -
Slick throws down oil on the ground and Sparkki does fire aoe, has an aoe pull
and lights the oil on the fight. The oil on the ground will put a toxic debuff on
you that does dmg overtime and stacks the more oil spots are out. Whoever
has the ooze attracting buff needs to do nothing, but kite the ooze into the oil
(also the oil on fire needs to be kited into also). The rest of the group should
be killing Slick and Sparkki.
1. Strategy 1 -Strategy my team used
Killing Sparkki first is pretty easy as he has less health, but once
Sparkki is dead you are going to need to kill Slick really fast
because he will gain an attack speed boost and put so much oil down
once his ally dies and he gains enrage.
2. Strategy 2 –
Killing Slick first is a good option because if you take out the guy who
puts oil down you won’t need to deal so much with kiting except for
just not getting hit by the oozes auto attack as it does alot of dmg.
I do not know what Sparkki does when Slick dies first, but im guessing
it involves a huge fire aoe.
3.Strategy 3 – Probably the best
Kill Slick and Sparkki together. If you can bring them both down to
10% before finishing them off you will be able to kill the other one
without much risk because he will be so low when he enrages that it
will be easy for your group to take him down.
Foreman Spur –
Before the fight starts you are going to want to jump down to the left and get
on the outer ting and clear out the few aetherblades that are there. Then wait
for the steam watcher to come and KILL IT FIRST (if you have a pull wait for it
to get to a corner and just pull it to the team so it can’t aggro). After that just
pull the main group little by little (they all have different leash ranges so you
will never pull to many, make sure to kill the groups behind corners while
stacking so it makes it easier.
The Boss Fight-
Foreman Spur pretty much has three main attacks. He will throw
axes in the air that when they hit the ground will create small
aoe spinning axes. A whirlwind attack that does massive dmg, but
if you just evade two time you should be fine and take little to no
dmg. And an ability that creates a circle that keeps people in it in
and people out of it out.
Foreman Spur is the easiest part of the dungeon just dodge his stuff
and range him down and you should have no problems.
I would of loved to kick them, but one of them was the party leader. So they pretty much had immunity from being kicked by us. I think the 3 vote system will solve this for most cases. Not very often am I in a group with 3 friends doing higher lvl fractals
Can Anet finally make it so it takes 3 votes to kick someone or something so if your at the last boss of something like fractals you can’t be kicked. I just wasted nearly 2 hours with a group doing fractals and I yelled at two guys in our group who were in the same guild because they were messing up the boss of dredge. After yelling at them to stop messing around and stay with our guardian we finally beat the boss and proceeded to do jade. The whole jade fight the both of them were trying to grab crystals before me when I would get targetted by jade (both of them ended up killing themselves during the fight fully and I had to rez them both). Right before jade died I was kicked by them, I had been expecting this and asked the other two players in the group to reinvite me back if I got kicked, but no matter how fast they kept letting me back in I would get kicked. I reported the two for scamming, but honestly I know Anet won’t do anything about it and I wasted alot of time.
Anyone else have kitten like this happen to you? Or think it should take 3 people to kick someone?
