Hello, I ask for being noob or not being well aware of the subject, but I expose some of my ideas in a logical way.
Well, it is clear that the thief must rely on evades not to die, but does not lose dps depending on you do not die in the moment? Many classes do not have to rely so heavily on avoiding dying and focus more on rotating their combos for their dps. There are classes that do not have to be in direct contact with the damage, being able to do dps without the mob getting too close, mesmer, elementalist etc. Even warriors and guardians do not have to waste time on whether they die or not. The thief D / P can survive more using his smoke to blind and the daredevil uses the boats to not die and his 4 to blind, but while losing more dps.
Constant nerfs to thief damage make it even more difficult to exploit the full potential of the class. The increased cds of hiding in the shadows make the burst of the d / d build, which is hardly used anymore, if it is not in pvp and wvw, where the class is strong, as long as there are two hands. But I’m focusing on pve.
The lack of equipment boons often makes the class less eligible for raids and apart from that the thief should focus on surviving more and hitting as much as possible. there is no point when the thief is still squishy in raids and pve in general. Buffs to all roles except the thief. Good for people which uses it to wvw or pvp.. for clean… conditions, a skill which have almost all other roles… but less evades makes the thief more squishy for pve, and more time in the ground… more quality of life… sure…
More and more they are doing the thief unpickeable for people which likes to do pve with the thief.
