This has been going on for several weeks now with no resolution. There is blatant exploiting of waypoints in wvw allowing servers to instantly WP into a contested keep forever.
Of all the bugs in the game this one completely breaks WvW and has seemingly been completely ignored when the supply drop bug was fixed relatively quickly.

I would first like to say I am really impressed by this skin more so than any I’ve seen thus far. It really shows that someone paid a great deal of attention while crafting it. As an avid compulsive jumper the jump/dodge/backpedal animations are amazing.

This being said I wish it had the full range of emotes (laugh, sit , dance) and some interactability with npcs and such.

If it could work in combat too would also be nice.(I know I’m reaching there)

(FA got double teamed for a few days and couldn’t recover in score). But this means we finally have a SBI vs Yaks & HoD* matchup. If the double team didn’t happen we wouldn’t have this showdown.

Basically its up to you, the matchups can continue to be the same until a server is willing to double team for an edge.

Don’t give this guy credit, he is a well know hacker/botter. Basically a merc for hire who will tap that keep all day and night and glitch into the keep to destroy all siege. He was on Crystal Desert when we fought them, running between SM and Keep keeping them tapped for hours. SBI doesn’t want the hacks

Good fights so far, guys. Although I’ve become absorbed in the mob mentality of hating SBI, it only fuels the fun on the field.

I look forward to seeing one of two things come the end of the season; SBI gloating that they’ve won, or SBI making excuses about why they’ve lost. We can guarantee at least one!

And FA, I’m sick of seeing your faces. But you’re good fighters and I respect the skill.

individually YB and EB are both terrible, from everything I’ve seen. I think that is what really irks the people complaining in the forums. Individually we would smash them but together its like facing a T1 server, the numbers are overwhelming. When there are 10-15 people dedicated to preventing yaks from going to keeps, a 20-30 man zerg from the other server hitting bay and another 20-30 man zerg hitting the keep on the other side of the map, you know the ppt isn’t going to be in your favor.

That being said, I have not been in a group that has lost to either server in open field unless we were vastly outnumbered and even then we held out for a long time ( and we have been outnumbered, group vs group, pretty much the entire matchup). Screenshot below is one such example,

You have some kind of fantasy image of your own server. The real SBI is a server that will call in 40+ people to go after 4 in voice comm.

The screenshot you posted is what we would call a manageable fight. If you actually think that is an overwhelming number of Yak’s then your overall WvW experience is quite limited.

You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension.

Let’s see if we can get things straightened out then.

You claim EB and YB are bad in the open field and you have won every fight against them even when outnumbered. The only times you have lost is when you are facing “overwhelming” numbers. Oh yes, and you have been outnumbered in all of your open fields fights. Almost forgot about that gem.

You then post a screenshot with around 15 of you cowering in a tower from a staggering number of Yak’s which appears to be less than 25 people. Our group would consider that a manageable fight with fairly good odds of winning. You obviously don’t have a clue what overwhelming numbers really are.

Overwhelming numbers are things like 4v40 or 10v60.

Really not sure if you’re trolling or english isn’t your first language. Also math skills are dubious. If you must know we did engage them after I took that screen, we weren’t cowering, we were stacking. You may want to get your eyes checked as well.

1. Not to point fingers, but please stop making it sound like YB is the only side engaged in unfair play, SBI did the same.
2. You lost people because of fairweathers, not ESO blah blah bs. ESO happened for all of us, fractal patch happened on every server. You lost more to these events, once again, because of fairweathers.
3. If you want to see us (YB) fight good, please go to your garrison, YBBL’s defenders want nothing more but a secure and well sieged borderland, they are not interested in fighting open field.

Trash talking aside, I really want to thank SBI for a really fun and stressful week. You guys really had us on our toes, especially after the Sunday night push.

1. Why do people say they’re not going to do something then promptly do that same thing? Also, I did nothing of the sort, you just have a guilty conscience.

2. I am confuse, not entirely sure you know what you just said. I also dislike it when people blame everything that ever goes wrong in WvW on the ephemeral “fairweathers”. It wasn’t just the “fairweathers” that stopped showing up. The match felt dirty, and not in a good way.

3. So that zerg just hangs out in your BL sipping tea and eating crumpets? Somehow I doubt that. please don’t make excuses for bad tactics, own it and get better. They choose to fight us in open field, and we kept wiping them with a much smaller group. I wasn’t just talking about YB BL though, that was just a hilarious example that I happened to take a screen of. ( Also, it’s fight “well” not “good”. Yes, I just corrected your grammar.)

4. Did I stutter?

Correction: YB and EB worked hard for your victory, please afford EB credit as they deserve it. If you hadn’t engaged in a cheesy 2v1 you might have been able to claim a clean victory on your own merit. I suppose many of you will conveniently forget that going forward.

For whatever reason we have lost a lot of people this matchup. Tonight was the first time there was a short queue in ebg and we managed to take 2/3 of the map. Some of it is holidays, some new content, some ESO beta (that was my excuse), and some is the running rub with the 2v1. Think once we realized this was going on people started to get busy with other things. Hard to get into WvW when your opponents behave in, what some might call, an unsportsmanlike manner. Think FA will have an easier time with us next week than they did before because of burnout from this match.

We have been constantly defending two fronts on every map where we have an objective, after a while it gets annoying especially when individually YB and EB are both terrible, from everything I’ve seen. Screenshot below is one such example, we only ran into the tower after they put the trebs, superior ballista and ac up because we kept wiping them. For me, that is the real victory, and that is what I will take away from this match and I hope the rest of SBI does as well.

Some of the more annoyed SBI might want to think of YB and EB as sticks, individually weak but together they make a pretty strong ( bundle of sticks). PPT is, and always has been, coverage Yaks Bay has better coverage. /shrug

Looking forward to some honest fights from FA and DB next week.

Lets hope YB can keep their lead throughout the week else there will be lots of humble pie to be shared around considering the amount of trash talk going around. Also for your roamers who run 5-10+ man groups, claiming the other side is bad when you’re running an organized group against pugs is pretty laughable.
Also EB, tsk tsk, telling your guys not to attack YB then claiming no double team, for shame. Be honest about it, we don’t care either way, at least SBI has something to do in WvW after all these weeks.

Uh, if there is an agreement please tell Ebay. My group spent the night going back and forth with Ebay on SW corner of SBI BL. Perhaps, that “agreement” is more in your head than it is in practice.

When EB attacks anything more substantial than a camp that isn’t on SBI BL or an objective that we own on another map I’ll agree that its in my head. Until then, whether explicitly stated or not I’ll look at the facts, das map, and contend its more in practice than in my head. Cheers

Thank you for the advice on what separates men and mice, may it cause some to think things through thrice. Though I must wonder, truth be told, and I hope myself not to bold, why in your chyme there is no rhyme. Are you man or indeed the deamon Etrigan?

SBI has learned the hard way that they will need to communicate with each other to win.

Commanders, guilds and zergs need to be willing and able to move to maps to help defend something.

In the upper tiers where FA has spent most of their time, this happens without fail usually. Response teams show up and go to work.

Queue’s can hinder this of course….but SBI’s reaction times have been slow, and they have suffered for it.

Further more SBI may want to look at their gear/builds as a whole. They also may want to not be so stationary. Not moving and getting jumped on by us is not helping you.

The times we have seen any semblance of maneuvering, it has fallen apart after our initial push with everyone spreading out…and then dying.

None of these hints will help you against FA of course. We are still going to faceroll you in the open field, but it may help you against some of these other servers.

To the guys using the eyefinity (whatever you want to call it) to destroy the siege inside towers when you have vastly superior numbers outside. Stay classy.

Yes please revert. Holos turned from something that was tedious and sometimes fun to something that is now annoying and tedious. Not to mention it is now really difficult to solo them in high level zones.
