Uh. If 40% of a top pvp team are thieves, it means thieves are viable in tPvP. No fallacies in logic.

PvE seems to be fine. Heart of the Mist itself seems to be fine. Just within the spvp servers. Now it’s getting better… seems the delay is only 15~ secs now instead of forever.

Not sure if its the same as everyone elses. If it is, feel free to merge and apologies.

So after this patch just now I was not able to activate any skill in any pvp maps. I have not tried pvp yet. I’m talking it doesn’t respond at all, just flashes like its in queue to activate.

My FPS is fine. I actually feel like I am ghosting around the map. The sound of “point captured” is very on-point with what I see. The enemies do not seem to notice me.

So… what the kittykatkittenball can this be? This of course is game breaking for me.

Same here with Storm Bluff. It was happening on Capricorn pvp map for me. But not the other maps. I hope devs see this.

I am experiencing the same thing. It feels like server lag. Click gives you no response. No drop in frame rates. Its happening to me on capricorn but after the build just now it is happening to every single map. Maybe the auth server is getting flooded with new logins. Not sure. Anyone have an IP list of the worlds I can tracert to when this happens?

I dont like QZ either. It seems a bit OP as its a very powerful range spike. As a ranger I prefer more escape / dodge skills.

With great sword, you can leap → QZ → stun → deal dmg.

Have you guys played GW1?

Howdy. Not sure if you played GW1 but rangers will always have their place. Ranger has no real weakness. There’s not one class in this game that really anti-builds the ranger. So that alone is a big reason why rangers is one of the best split classes. Unlike GW1, splits aren’t that common nowadays simply because its a point holding game now and ranger’s escape utility is far inferior to GW1’s ranger. But I think as the game progresses and more creative strats are being executed you will see a lot more rangers in competitive field.

Okay. good build and I liked your vid. Okay a few tips for my fellow ranger though… just general pvp stuff.

• You don’t use ‘2’ as much as you can. It’s a really great skill that spreads poison so you outa use it as much as possible. For example if the thief goes into his little invisi-shack, you can hit em with 2.

• Your ‘3’ usage seems kind of random. I would have liked to see some matchup against warriors. With all the bull’s charge builds nowadays it would be sweet to see you dodge using 3.

• Consider putting ‘5’ into your qz’s attack rotation. Probably 1-2 secs in so you can prevent him from rolling out of your main spike. You’re not using a spider so its already difficult for snare control.

• Consider binding ‘look back’ Your cam control is not bad but you need full surveilance in this game as much as possible.

*Like the other guy said, use the warhorn. It gives you good buffs.

The only thing I dont like about conditioning build is that on an upper level people always bring tons of condition removal, mainly to get rid of snares. Me for example carry the signet that transfers all condition to my pet. So its fairly easy to decrease damage from these spikes. I know build wars can be too theorized… but I would definitely try out other alternatives as your backup build.

No its entirely random. I just finished it too and Trahearne died once to the elite guarding the entrance.

The NPCs don’t follow you. I can’t get past “Escort Trahearn to the Royal Tombs.”

Gamebreaking.
