Getting the same issue here, my laptop usually gets pretty warm but I’ve been GW2 for years without problems…and this laptop is relatively new.
Hard shutdowns, at first the screen would “blue” screen (black screen) but my computer was obviously still on
Tried to troubleshoot and now it’s a hard shutdown after 2-3 minutes

Windows 10
Intel core i5 (had my game on medium to low settings)
4 GB RAM (get the feeling I’m wrong)

No other game has done this so far

Sorrows Embrace is very good in terms of story and the appearance in general>
I appreciate the scale and look of Arah but the dungeon can go straight to hell.
(The only dungeons stopping me from dungeon master)

Think the next expansion will have any new ones? Think anet even still cares about them?

It started right after I rescued Aptia. First the loading screen to get out of the mission at the Krait tower. Crash. Then first try of getting to Hoelbrak. Crash. Got to Hoelbrak. Crash. Tried to get into camber doors and crashed when I got close. Tried to get to Dort Trinity. Crash.
The quest is still progressing, but with every step it crashes.

Getting the same issue, except on mine it says “Newly acquired accounts require validation. This feature will unlock in 4 days.” Kinda odd that I have to wait 4 days to play a game that I bought today? Even EA doesnt do that.
Are you getting the same message when you try to do something?
