It also looks like they can be used to craft all the Rare match win weapons, there’s too many to list here but if you check the pvp reward section of the wiki it should show you
Disappointed to see that outfits will have to be worn as a whole. I always liked the whole mix and match to find the best outfit sort of thing gw2 always had.
Though I do now sorta regret not picking up some of the outfits and town clothes I liked in the past list the mad king thorn one, since in the past since I never really RPed in gw2. town clothes were pretty useless to me.
Now I may have to go and pick up some glasses and fluffy hats.

Nice, Wasn’t sure if it would apply to pvp skins or not
Pretty excited about this since I’ll now have the CoE armor and bits of the Arah armor at my disposal to use in PvE.
And get to use some of my cultural armor from PvE in PvP.
Ticket# 451169
Been waiting about 5 ish days and haven’t heard back.
Currently my GW2 account is basically unusable for me.
So anyone know about how much it costs to get leather working up to 500 lol. the cost difference between making it on the different professions is fairly large
I’d at least hope it’s changed so as a tailor you can make it with either 15 elonian leather or 15 bolts of damask. same for the other profession, make it using either of the two ascended crafting materials they can make.

Well I’d actually recommend making a character for every class you may be interested and take them into the heart of the mists you should be able to get there at about level 2 where you can try out all your classes skills on the golems around there.
Hmm, to be honest I don’t really think the race you choose matters all that much besides aesthetics wise and the early part of your personal story. While they do have access to some race specific skills like you can find here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Racial_skill it’s pretty rare that you actually use them in whatever build your running. It’s better that you have a race whose look you like since you’ll be looking at it for quite a long time.
I’d say elementalists is the hardest class to master out of the ones you’ve chosen since you’ll have access to more skills and swapping than other classes. you are a nit squishy but once you get down your skills and dodge rolls that won’t be a huge problem, D/D ele at least is a very mobile class.
Guardian is probably the class I played the most out of those that you listed (Though I main a warrior) and I think it tends to bring a lot to a group in pretty much any situation, when I do WvW I love having a shout guardian in my group for the stability and condi removal they provide. Their other boons are great to have around as well. their lines of warding and walls of reflection come in handy as well.
While they don’t have the damage out put of the warrior, I’d still say they bring a lot to a party.
I’ve never really played a necro so I can’t speak to much to that. Kinda the same with theif, though I do find them pretty fun to play and the stealth does come in handy a lot when running past trash.
This is for the most part just my opinion though.

Congratz, nice luck there. One of the nicer precursors to get your hands on as well.
I can imagine the disappointment of getting one like the flame of Rodgort only to find that it goes for somewhere 50 g on the auction house,
I’d much rather see something like this happen than them just turning into a salvage item.
I would love the ability to duel my friends 1 on 1.
Particularly if we can use our normal armor.
The way we do it now is to just flood an Empty PvP map.
I’ll probably end up gearing out my warrior first since I love playing her in WvW, and use her more than all my other characters.
I’ll probably end up gearing up my guardian as well since they’re both the same armor type so I won’t have to level another profession plus I’ll probably end up using my guardian more for PvE since it would be a pain to make my warrior another set of armor for it.
I am hoping there’s so other way to come across ascended armor though since I’m not a big fan of all the money and time it’s going to cost me to level up these professions to 500.

Eh, I would probably get most of them just passively through playing the game since I spend most of my time in WvW anyway, really the only ones I needed to go out of my way to get were the JPs.
I probably would just with hopes that arena net took all this feedback into account and made the rewards a bit more interesting.
For something that took weeks to get I don’t really think the rewards reflected that.
The chests are available right now!
Should I be concerned then that I logged in and no chest appeared?
I do have the key and the achievements done. Are you in the US? Only the European chests have gone out.
lol yes, that would be why, thanks

I do have the key and the achievements done.
Additionally, what can we expect to happen to Glory boosters (including active buffs on characters).
This is a concern of mine, particularly since I have around 30 glory boosters sitting in my bank, so using them all up before the next update comes out isn’t really a possibility.
I’d recommend getting your mystic clovers out of the way first. On your failed attempts you’ll probably end up with some tier 6 crafting materials. Always do your dailies, but that should be a given.
Hmm, lodestones are a bit more difficult, I’d probably recommend running CoF and fractals since they drop there occasionally.
Try looking into promoting lodestones and see if you think it’s worth the price or just easier to buy off the trading post.
Still no waypoint/means of respawning without having to either log out or have the rest of the group sacrifice themselves (both options are ridiculous). It’s not as if you can actually res anyone stuck in that horrible burning DOT room.
What’s the point of that room anyway? We never went in there while finishing the storymode instance. Is it only used when you come across the fractal in a normal run?
Oh. I’m not entirely sure. I heard that other groups completed the story without going in there, but the group I was with took both coolant rods through the fire room to complete the story.
I we never touched the burning room, just went from slime to maze then straight to the center, seems a bit odd. Could just be multiple paths or an extra chest.
just use the LFG tool and play with other people in an MMO, its not a terribly hard dungeon in story mode.
^This really unless you’re doing it just for the sake of being able to say you soloed it.
It’s much easier and since the fractals just got updated it takes no time at all to get a party together.
I want an ArenaNet comment on this situation. There are A LOT of angry people rampaging about the game over this. Do those of us who spent 120g for cultural’s get refunds? Probably not, but they had promised that they would never do this, in fact I’m sure if we spend enough time we can find the posts where developers have stated that cultural armor and how it’s acquired would remain the way it always had been. Now, I know you could say this isn’t the cultural armor, and it’s different because you added ugly particles to it. Either way, same armor model. Couldn’t bother to actually design unique and new armor skins to compliment whatever you were trying to do here?
Please, don’t bother re-skinning old armor sets and selling them to us in the gem shop. Now that you’ve done it to 1 of the culturals, I guess you’ve got to spend the next 3 or 4 updates doing it to the rest of them to make it “fair”, instead of giving us new & original sets we would actually be happy to buy.
I’m hoping for an Anet comment on this as well.
This really does just seem lazy on their part.
sell it before precursor crafting is here
If precursor crafting ever does come out this would probably be the smart move because the prices will probably drop once it does.
(Of course precursor crafting has been expected for about a year now and still hasn’t been added)
I think it’s absolutely silly to go after a legendary that you don’t really want, I’d say sell it and earn the money to buy dusk.
Thank you for this thread, I’m on this step in making my legendary and it’s hard to get a group together for temple runs on my server.
Damny, thanks for the link. Any idea if these colors can be applied to Charr fur?
Don’t think so, just their hair (Though having blue fur would be amazing) unfortunately alot of the coverage of the hew hair and eye colors hasn’t included the charr so the only pic I’ve been able to find is this one
Well I finally got it to work today, it seems I was just to close to the fire so it wasn’t registering the water as hitting the fire or somthing, I just had to back off a bit
Any word on this? I’ve tried multiple times by this point. It’s a bit annoying not being able to complete my story quests :/
During the Assist scholar Fionna’s research part of the quest I can’t seem to put out the fires, I’ve tried from all different types of angles and even exited and reentered the instance and still nothing.
