United Kingdoms [UK]

United Kingdoms Community
[UK] is a well established, long running and mature community with experience in several MMO’s. We’re a community that was built on the core values of friendship and and good sportsmanship and throughout the years we’ve had great success both as an active social community but also one that strives to succeed and access all that every game has to offer.
Despite our name we’ve always had a wide range of players from various different countries. Because we’re a European based guild we obviously have mostly European based players but have in the past had members from North America and from Australia. The playtimes of our players vary quite considerably too from those that prefer to play casually right up to those that always seem to be logged in. Thanks to several years of experience we think we’ve found a balance that works for all of these players and we recommend that you read through our community charter which all our players, regardless of game, agree to play by.

The past…
[UK] started life as a guild in Everquest, progressed on to Everquest 2, and is currently actively represented in TSW, GW2, Rift and SWTOR. Over the years we’ve also had guilds in other MMO’s either casually or as an affiliated guild that was either started by, or had significant involvement from, a former UK community member. We’ve seen many of our former members who left to join other games or guilds also return to us including some of those that were around when the UK guild was initially formed in EQ.

You joke, but this is essentially what’s happening and it’ s incredibly boring. Blech.

Anyway, we at Deso need an asian shift now if we want to compete in T1. Ruin is a powerful addition but the maps in the early mornings of the work days are completely empty, as evidenced by the russians doing the complete 600 points+ capping routine (btw, do you people in Russia never work? I can understand the 3 hours difference but jesus… at 11-12 AM you’re supposed to be at the workplace anyway :P). And we could also use some more people at prime time; I’ve yet to experience a moment, during this whole week matchup, when I could not enter WvW because all 4 maps had queues.

All 4 maps had queues last night at prime time, it took 30 mins for me to get into a borderland and an hour to get 2 full guild groups in.
