I feel we are need of a nerf. An appropriate nerf though.

Due to the Bunker Mesmer, the meta is so boring right now. It’s a really strong build but for all the wrong reasons.

And in saying this, it’s a problem with the balance of the whole game mode, not just the Chrono, so we probably won’t see an appropriate fix anytime soon.

I’m on board with the idea of Well of Precog giving distortion instead of evasion, so you have to time it right to not lose the point. The build is too easy to play how it is right now.

I agree with TyPin that it would probably be a bit overkill with the combos you could do with the mantras.

I’ve been playing around with lockdown chrono a bit, and even though Continuum Split doesn’t affect them, the increased amount of quickness and alacrity that can come with the Chrono playstyle certainly helps with quicker mantras.

Played around with this a bit yesterday. Was a lot of fun and a nice change from grenades.

I’ve always preferred bombs but also really enjoyed the cc of rifle. The combo between protection injection and protective shield was pretty sweet too.

I did play around with the tools line instead of inventions, and also some weird hybrid that took both the 3 point from inventions and the 3 poinot from tools for those instant recharges at low health. I felt like it sacrificed a bit too much though.

Any further testing updates or notes on the build recently?

Experience: Rank 30. Played a lot of tPvP on release, but slowly stopped due to lack of interest from other team mates and getting burnt out with GW2. Getting back into the game again though and want to play some competitive stuff again.
Other: Im from Sydney Australia and would prefer to play with an Aussie team if I could just for timezone conveniences. I want to be serious with tPvP but also cant (and wont) let it dictate my playtime and free time I have available as I study as well.
