Because of holiday inactivity we’ve decided to open up five more slots in our guild; a good chance to secure your raiding spot!
Ping Aquabreather [PA] is an established semi-hardcore PVE guild based in EU. If you enjoy raiding and fractals, this might be the guild for you! This guild was created with the aim to provide a fun, dedicated community of players looking to run with the best strategies without the pressure of hardcore guilds.
We believe that any strategy can be taught, but! We will not teach you the basics of the game, knowing your main class inside out is a must. Above all we value awareness and the ability to learn.
What do we do? Raids and fractals… If it exists, we’ll do it! Some of our players also have an interest in PvP and WvW, as well as organized events in the new Heart of Thorns maps. If you have interests beyond PVE, you’ll probably find someone to play with anyway!
All of our members are active, and we have an event calendar on which we plan Daily Raids (21:00 CET/GMT+1), Guild Missions and more!
Requirements:
- Optimized damage gear and build depending on your class, this means being aware of the current meta for Raids
- At least ascended trinkets and weapons
- Always use foods and potions where it’s useful (not necessarily the most expensive!), lazy does not cut it with us
- A positive and mature attitude! Be able to take constructive criticism and discuss your build choices.
Joining the guild:
Please make sure you have read this entire thread carefully before applying.
We are looking for people with a ‘can do’ attitude most of all, who have energy and will run with us, not follow us around. Awareness of your situation as well as your party’s at all times is very important to us.
If we think you are a fit for the guild, we will contact you, have a chat with you on TS and invite you as a trial member. While you’re a trial member you’ll have two weeks to convince us that you’re an addition to our guild. This can be done by raiding with us and doing other guild activities. If successful, you will become a full member after a maximum of two weeks.
The words to complete your application on our website (last question) are: I love carcharias.
Representation is mandatory, we are not a side guild, even with the changes to guild chat. Exceptions can be made for WvW and PvP guild, but please note that you must still represent us at least 70% of the time.

It’s been a bit over a month since I joined Ping Aquabreather and I feel really at home in this guild. The players in this guild are both kind and skilled; a really nice environment to enjoy the game. I have the same issue.. really annoying.
Figured out how to finish it.. you have to kill the small shielder enemy before you kill the big one. You might have to kill all the small ones. To kill the shielder you need to break his break bar. This took me Bane Signet, Dragon Hunter F1 and Binding Blades.

Yes I’ve checked that.. completely empty
All of my mini pets are gone since the feature patch.. even my mini Rytlock from the digital blabla edition. What now? Even my Priest of Balthazar and 9 mini Queen Jennas.
I would love to see: Power/Condition damage/Precision because it’s the only combination with the potential to compete with zerker(p/p/f) gear.
On the level 33 fractal the Mistlock Instability is bugged. Area of effect skills ALWAYS count as flanking. This results in many red circles instantly killing you. This made the Snowblind fractal and the Molten Facility bosses (4th fractal) hell on earth.
Since the previous patch my FPS in LA went down to 11-13 (with max culling). Before the patch my FPS was about 31-35 in a crowded LA. Weird thing is that in low populated areas my FPS has increases (or at least the loading of textures at the start of a map). Sounds kinda weird that even culled stuff is having a massive performance impact suddenly. Wasn’t it supposed to increase the performance? I’m lost.. please fix this!

Wouldn’t the ideal have been to make exotics with infusion slots? That wouldn’t increase the gear level outside of FotM but would still make the gear progression (infusions) mandatory in within it. I think that GW1 was a superior game in many of it’s systems… p.a. gear wise (also runes & inscriptions). I don’t understand how you just throw those things away and replaced them with 250 ecto gear… (just an example) those numbers are totally based on nothing.
Ok so I did this Ancient Karka event for two and a half hour… it was totally unplayable but still I spend so much time on it. Just before the end I get disconnected… I try to login, but I can’t… not for hours. Now the chest is gone!?!?! I wasted almost three hours and didn’t get anything… I didn’t even enjoy those hours.
Ascended armor = bad move… this is like the first time that arena.net is adding new items instead of modifying existing ones. Think about the upgrade slots being added to “older” armors in GW1. Bad move I say! At least make it possible to transmute existing armor into ascended armor…
