We are all having fun in Fractals. Please try to keep up.
To appeal to all spectrum of gaming we need vertical progression along with horizontal progression. That way everybody can be happy.

Guys, it’s just natural for the game to progress.
Anet, please don’t get discouraged by overreacting people. I salute you for bringing progression to a stagnant endgame. It shows you actually care and listen when we asked for progression in our game. You can’t of course please everyone with your decision. But rest assured us the core followers will follow you.
What if we make 100 blades not stationary? I think that should help War a bit.
Well, isn’t infusion is part of the story too in GW2? So, what’s the different?
you don’t see a difference between added “INFUSED!” under an item’s name, and adding gear with stats inflated over what you had previously stated would be the top tier of gear and promising to continue to add better gear in the future?
GW1 never increased levels or stats on gear.
You don’t see the difference?
Good. So let’s take the increased stats off this new garbage. You won’t see the difference, so it won’t matter, right?
Ok, So, they are trying to keep the spirit of GW1 while simultaneously evolve their game with progression. I can’t see anything bad coming out of it.

I think we should put our faith for Anet. They have all the statistic and data. I am sure they know what they are doing with the Warriors.
Please you don’t have to belittle people calling them kiddo. Just stay to the topic.
It’s just to make things easier for all of us to group with the right infusion lvl people.
But all MMOs need progression. New tier will give that progression.
I totally agree with you bro. While we are at it why don’t you guys make some kind of Dungeon LFG system? So it’s easier to group up and match infusion lvl between each members of the party.
I really appreciate the Patch. I can’t wait to finally progress my character to become stronger. Can we have more item progression in the future? Progression every 3 months seems too long. Just abandon developing those silly skins… because we all know what’s important is stats~
Nah man. Ascendant accessories don’t have upgrade slots. So, it’s fair to give stats with the infusion. Exotics are still better stat wise with the upgrades~
Well, let’s see what’s the impact of the new of “infusion and agony” system on live going to be. It’s definitely going to segregate the community. I don’t think we are going to see a lot of happy people then.
Some things can never be undone.
I don’t support a “let’s wait and see what happens” approach to decisions like this one.
Don’t get me wrong I agree with you. It’s just I know they are not going to listen to any of us and go through with it. The community is the one going to suffer then.

No, I don’t agree with gear gating and treadmill. Completely opposite of what GW spirit/philosophy is supposed to be.
I am deeply concerned if they start putting a new gear tier in just 3 months. They don’t really need to put another tier if they want to add new content. If GW2 turn to another gear treadmill MMORPGs I am out of here. SLIGHTLY better gear every 2-3 months? That’s going to stack up….
Signet of Restoration has a passive effect that heals per cast. With written in stone it should maintain the passive effect even when Signet of Restoration on cooldown. But what I found out is that when it is on cooldown it heals less per cast spells.
At 80 the Signet should heal about 202 per cast spells from the passive effect. This is without +healing from trait/gear. But when you just trigger the Signet for the big heal the passive effect become less potent dropping it to 150 heal per cast spells.
Is that intended to somewhat nerf written in stone trait? Or is it a bug?
Well, Signet of Restoration has a passive effect that heals per cast. With written in stone it should maintain the passive effect even when Signet of Restoration on cooldown. But what I found out is that when it is on cooldown it heals less per cast spells. This is not counting +healing from traits/equip.
Perhaps it is a stealth nerf for the heals from signet of restoration with written in stone trait? Or is it just bugged? I don’t know where to ask so a dev can confirm this.
Edit: at 80 the passive effect should give you 202 heal per cast spells without +healing. The passive effect drops to 150 heal per cast spells when Signet of Restoration on cooldown.

I am just noticing if I trigger signet of restoration with written in stone trait I will get less heal per cast. Like normally I get around 215 heal per cast but when I trigger signet of restoration the heal goes down to 160ish per cast. So in a sense we get a less potent passive effect if we use the signet even with the written in stone trait. Is that intended? Or is it a new thing from the recent patch.
The WvW bonuses started working again after the recent match reset for me. So, that takes around 3 weeks-ish after server transfer. Interesting.
Lupini it is quite easy to find out if the bonuses are working or not. Just compare your base hp and the hp you’re supposed to get with the hp bonus.
Mine used to work awhile ago and yes the differences can be seen on overflow and regular server.
I am glad more people are aware of this bug. Like the OP said the bonuses are quite significant near the end of WvW match. It really is not a pleasant feeling knowing my characters are kittened compared to others who have the bonuses working.
Hopefully Anet take this seriously and fix it.
It’s been affecting me as well after I did a server transfer. I believe it’s already more than 2 WvW matches. Some help with this issue would be appreciated.
