In the 32 bit client I use 1680×1050. the 64 bit client refuses to use that resolution so I have use 1280×800 or 1920×1200. Both clients windowed an full screen.
Areas of play are the starting areas for all the races, Silver Wastes, Verdant Brink, Orr, The various zones dailies take me too, etc. Seldom does the frame rate raise above 9 any longer.

Can you post your system specs, what resolution you are using in-game (and if you are scaling your display), what in-game settings you were using at the time and the map(s) you tried this in? Thanks!

The pain of crashing on Frozen Maw all day long when it is the daily. Frustrating. ArenaNet should be embarrassed by the mac client.

I’ve been playing the Windows 64 bit client on my late 2013 macbook pro. Pretty stable. Compared to the mac client it is solid as a rock. The only downer is needing to waste time booting in to Windows 10.
Once there is a native mac client I should have a Delete The Partition party.

I tried a fresh install on a usb 3 external drive and the launcher would not launch.

My mac launcher won’t launch.

My mac client crashes a lot too. Was fighting the Megadestroyer and the game crashed. When I came back I had no credit.
I don’t think they are going to make a native client, so I think we have to just live with it.
