Why don't transmute stones allow us to look the way we want?

This is a great idea, and I would happily spend REAL money to obtain the look I want without restriction were there to be introduced a new transmutation method that would grant us the freedom to do so.

Fight CarpalTunnel !(Shift Click Feature)

Ok all kidding aside, having to click in many cases a ridiculous number of times to purchase various consumables is quite a pain for anyone. In some cases quite literally due to physical ailments like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and others along those lines.

Having the ability to (Shift Click/Enter number(qty.) like most other games would be better than having to click like a robot, and would be a viable option in GW2 thereby eliminating the current method of click till you just can’t stand it any more.

Please acknowledge and alleviate this obvious oversight.

What to do with that pile of Ascended Rings..

I know that many people have gotten to the point with Fractals of the Mist that they have accumulated a massive collection of rings in their inventories and banks which are at this point simply taking up space due to being repeat drops, and otherwise. Simply holding out in the hopes that one day they will become salvageable.

It is possible that there is already something in the works in these regards but it seems a waste to simply sell these items to an NPC for a mere pittance of silver.

Perhaps Arena Net could implement a system whereby rings could be tossed into the mystic forge for a chance at another Ascended item, or even allow us to salvage these rings and future accumulative ascended items into the currently obtainable Ascended mats?

No one wants to be a hoarder! (albeit voluntarily) Feeling compelled to hoard in the hopes that there will be a solution is still not a good thing, regardless of how voluntary it is.

get rid of level scaling

Level Scaling is a GREAT feature. It allows higher level players to maintain their power based on the tier or gear and skill that they have obtained as a player and also makes it possible for them to still get their level of loot regardless of where they might be. In addition, lower level characters do not because dwarfed or useless by comparison to other players who might be fully decked out and have full use of their traits in the lower areas.

There are plenty of other ego games out there where you can solo low level instances and mobs with a higher level character. The difference is that you need skill in this one to accomplish the same task and less gear dependency.

Please do not change it.

GW1 Style Grouping.

GW2 is great and the WvW/PvP systems are quite fantastic, the PVE however seems a bit lacking currently in that groups disallow for alliance formations within the same faction for events (Aion by NC/GW1) which would negate the current GW2 system of requiring players to pick and choose which guild they wish to represent effectively cutting them off from communications that might be going on in their non represented guilds.

In addition, non reps tend to be the first ones kicked to make room for those who would rather represent. Why not simply bring back the GW1 Alliance system which encompassed a chat channel and an alliance tab which did not exclude anyone and showed all members of the alliance?

When in Open world PvE/WvW it would be nice to have an (option) to show ones guild members on map not just those in a party formation as those are currently limited to the inadequate number of 5 with no option to ally with other parties which would increase cohesion and more of a group feel.

As instances as well as events currently scale in difficulty based on how many participants are taking place in them (yes they do which is nice) might it be possible to expand current party limitation from 5 to 8 (like GW1) which would go a long way toward changing it from its current state (Clique Wars 2) and bring it more into the realm of an inclusive experience which would help to eliminate the current setup which seems to promote elitist cliques who don’t tend to venture outside of the same few people they group with again and again for the same events again and again.

Just some thoughts.

Visible Timer for Cool Downs:

Seems rather self explanatory.

It would be nice to see a numeric timer appear when a skill is clicked or when an item such as the (Ash Legion Spy kit) is utilized.

Time is everything and although the Faded clock like icon slowly becoming a full image might be enough for some, it still seems that it would be improved upon if this were to be combined perhaps with an actual timer.

Also temporary duration utility items like the (Ash Legion Spy kit) and (Charrzooka) which are obtainable via karma and merchants should popup a timer and icon for their use as well.

I just started having this exact same issue… Thought it was just me.
Only thing that seems to fix it is restarting the client. my other programs work fine with my audio system, and all drivers are current, this is just an issue with GW2.

The Buddy Cam from GW1 was GREAT!!!! you could see your team mates Point Of View when you were K.O.‘d, It wasn’t a game changer or a terrific advantage, but it was a rather nice feature which would be great to see added to the world of GW2 as well.

TITLE BONUS'

Just Throwing it out there but wouldn’t it be nice if titles actually gave some form of bonus stats?

Perhaps a random +3-4 in any configuration given to certain stats?

Might motivate people to get more achievements, and not only that but its not like such stats would tip the scales in any one particular direction but it would give titles more of a purpose and function rather than just having a useless word over your head.

I agree. Dueling would be AMAZING, and ad a new dynamic to the game that could allow for pvp testing anytime anywhere and just general testing of ones character.

Utility slots

Wouldn’t it be GREAT if we no longer needed to open our inventory in order to utilize a consumable item such as food, or an Auxiliary pet such as the little known consumable Ember or Consumable Jotun Great sword Etc. There are many different types of food as well. (Utility slots are enjoyed in many other MMO type games).

Even if we were given some just 6-8 Additional slots for Utility purposes (Weapon switch for Elementalists who otherwise can only shift attachments out of combat, or must routinely go into their inventories to equip a weapon out of combat.

There are those of us who have several different weapons which we like to switch through (out of combat) not including the ones already in our weapon slots (I-II/1-2), and it would be quite a bit more convenient to be able to do so using utility slots which would be readily accessible and movable as well as perhaps able to be shifted from horizontal to vertical position by the user.

Enough said, you get the idea.

DUELING SYSTEM

Razariel.5091

I would imagine from the Topic posted that there is enough said, however I would like to see input from the community as well on this topic which concerns those who wish to test their skills and builds before jumping into full on PVP/WVW.

It would be nice to be able to Duel other players in amicable mutual (not accepting duel requests option/Accepting duel requests option), anywhere settings in order to figure out what needs to be adjusted, also in order to become stronger as a player learning better to understand how to play/defeat other classes.

Not only would it be great to have a dueling system in GW2 for character enhancement outside of PVP, but it would also add a new fun dynamic to the game as well.

Please be constructive with your input and suggestions on this topic.

WTB distance meter to validate "unit" Range.

1200 what? 900 what? 600 what? Inches? Feet? Meters? Who knows!?

In most games featuring a “unit” of measurement I.E. Distance from/to Target there is a very visible number which is located somewhere on your screen indicating that distance and changes depending on your characters proximity to said target. NOT ON GW2

Seems fairly self explanatory and I do not believe it this requires much embellishment. GW2 is a great game with TONS of immense potential. This is one small feature which will enhance game play. If Aion can do it, Anyone can right?

Please implement an actual ranger indicator so we no longer need to use our imaginations to tell our actual proximity to/from selected targets.

Option to Remove/Separate "TALK" from "SEARCH"!!!

How many times has this happened to you?

You have just defeated your enemies and are reveling in your victory when you see the shiny’s on the ground indicating that it is time to collect the spoils of combat, then in the course of doing so, you suddenly get ambushed by an NPC who feels that he is more important than your desire to loot so forces you to talk with him because the “TALK” and “SEARCH” features are overlapped….

So if you happen to be in the presence of an NPC during combat, or while trying to loot. Odds are you have inadvertently opted to open a dialogue in either the heat of combat or while trying to simply gather your loot.

I am sure that there are hardcore fanboys and girls who like talking with NPC’s and asking them how their day went and what the weather is like back in Ascolon, however I am not one of them.

Do you guys think it might be possible to allow us an option to disable the NPC “TALK” feature from the same overlay as “SEARCH” so that we can loot in peace? and should we feel so inclined to care about what the mindless robot guard fighting alongside us, or passing by as we loot as to say, then we can once again turn it on?

That would would just be great

Thank you for your time and the Epic Game.

I really don’t get why they felt the need to nerf the rewards. I do not mind them increasing the difficulty to the point of maintaining interest and mixing it up a bit, but from26 silver to 1 after repairs from increased difficulties. Unless people go in with Guilds only and wearing exotics they may have a difficult time. regardless it felt like I was playing Aion again, and now it seems that many need to find another source of income which usually means “Grinding” so much for no more of that.

Good job with the nerf guys…… Kind of like punishing people for having far too much fun…
