I’d say you could settle for shovel and purse.
Depending whether you do w2 as well, the bomb is a must for the shortcut, and the whip for when the crocodiles are bugged. Otherwise, yea you’re good with the shovel/purse combo.

So have anybody gotten a super skin from completing the first zone (rapids) in world 2? After you get on the raft and down the waterfall, where you get a bauble bubble, I was wondering if there was also a chance to get a super skin there?
I have always completed all 4 zones and have yet to see a skin from this one.

So after the Shadow Behemoth was dead I waypointed to Metrica Province, but got stuck on the loading screen. Had to restart the game 3 times just to log back in (to get past the loading screen) and I was back in Queensdale. I then proceeded to test it out and just walk there – shouldn’t have done that though. I now can’t log into my character at all. So I went to play on my other character, but as soon as I went into the SAB I got stuck at the loading screen there also. Ugh!

Oh I didn’t know that event brought in skins. How was that handled then? Are they still available to obtain from places other than the trading post?

But past events didn’t bring any weapons/skins into the game, did they? Which makes you wonder if Anet really want to discontinue such a thing, making it ripe for manipulation and whatnot.
Also, I thought the additional worlds were to be released slowly throughout this month?

What I’m asking is not whether the items will go ‘poof’ and disappear, I know they won’t.
My question is if the skins will become discontinued; meaning if there will be some permanent way of obtaining them, or whether this temporary event will remain the only way of doing so. Because if that’s the case, then this month is the only chance at obtaining these (soon-to-be) rare skins.

I’d really like some official confirmation from somewhere in regards to this topic, so if anyone knows something and can point me in the direction of such information that would be grand.

Basically what I’m wondering is if the plan is to keep super skins obtainable forever, or if they will become discontinued along with this event at the end of april?
