Probably not and that was the point of my posts.

And if we talk about daily T4 runs (ie 3 T4 and 12 chests), 500 chests means 41 daily runs.

Since the quote to which I was responding mentioned a specific number of fractal runs, the apples:apples comparison is with single runs, not triplets.

Since the quote to which you were responding was an answer to my own datas based on full dailies T4 runs (ie 3 T4 everyday and 12 chests a day), my own following post was made in order to show the base used in Doombringer post wasnt probably the same as mine.

And if you consider a full daily T4 run, you still have around 20% chance to get an ascended box as shown by both datas (mine and KINGS).

Average drop rate for ascended boxes (weapons+armor) is about 20% (confirmed by KING) for a full daily T4 run.

Near 500 daily runs since 19/04/16 patch means 1 T4 run everyday since then and 6000 dailies chests.

On an another hand, near 500 dailies chests means 41 daily T4 runs and 10 boxes would be a 24% drop rate.

Here are my figures about drop rates :

I’ve run 466 daily T4 fractals since 19/04/16 patch, that’s about 5592 chests (466X12).

Got :

Weapons : 29
Gloves : 13
Helmets : 12
Boots : 16
Shoulders : 15
Chests : 3
Legs : 4

I think gloves, helmets, boots and shoulder have roughly the same drop rate. Chests and legs are much rarer since you need to do an average of 116-120 T4 daily run to get em.

Of course talking about RNG, u can have a full set in 6 days…

Used my viper warrior with torch+sword, 4 cc skills (2 are needed for breaking the bar) and healing signet. I had 6 stacks from hands when boss went finally down. Just dont hit boss until your CC and burst skills are up and the bar not broken.

Then headbutt + another CC, zerk mode for burst and done in 3 phases. Btw, I think i could dodge some hands, not a lot but some.

Same for me, got all other nodes from LS3.

Secondly, I don’t know if everyone has this, but it’s getting pretty frustrating. I get many many many boots or shoulders ascended chests and nothing else. All it does is stack up chests in my bank with no way for me to actually complete a set.

Since 19/04 patch, I keep track of ascended boxes drop quality.

I’ve done 225 complete dailies for 2 700 dailies chests in total (T1+T2+T3+T4).

Weapons : 16
Armors : 30

Among armors :
Gloves : 5
Helmets : 5
Legs : 3
Boots : 5
Shoulders : 11
Chests : 1

1 complete set since 19/04 patch from fractals.

Thanks guys I managed to get a party and invite to a raid/dungeon guild, as mostly a pvp/wvw player it was frustrating the track seems never available. I kinda like to do what I enjoy and get the tokens but this works. It doesn’t help I play in EU times on NA server haha. Thanks for the help!

Doing CoE story mode will unlock permanently your WvW track for this dungeon. It’s the same for all dungeons if you need the specific WvW reward track.

I gave you facts and numbers. My facts and my numbers are not “wrong”, they’re just facts and numbers. You can consider 1488 chest as a small amount and 4 months as a short period but regarding to my numbers fractal drop is nerfed

Instead of giving statements, gimme facts and numbers to prove me wrong. And btw, rates could still be bugged. Would not surprise me….

To complete, i’ll have to add 9 weapon boxes. Total ascended drops : 26 for 1488 chests (T1+T2+T3+T4).

Total : 20,9% chances to have an ascended drop during one daily run. Seems pretty online with KING imo. Regarding pre-patch situation and quality wise pov it’s a huge nerf.

It’s much more difficult to have a complete set now than pre-patch. That was my only point.

Edit : And according to Anet, odds arent even. Some pieces of armor drop more frequently than others.

Talking about a nerf in fractals while looking at armor ascended boxes general drop rate isnt good. You have to focus on drop quality.

In my case did 124 complete runs since 19/04 patch and i got armor wise :
Shoulders : 6
Boots : 4
Gloves : 3
Helmets : 2
Legs : 2
Chest : 0

Since 19/04 fractals didnt gave me a complete ascended set which is a huge nerf comparing to pre-patch situation.

Linked worlds have halved population caps. So any NA world that was at least 50% full pre-link, is now FULL. If we were to unlink them, they’d no longer be FULL.

To OP, please learn how to use statistics before posting. 8,9% chance to have an ascended box (armour or weapon) in T4+T3 +T2 chests is totally wrong.

You cant add percentages….

Edit : In this case and just for armour and weapons :
Master : 3,4% for armour and 1,4% for weapon
Expert : 2,4% for armour and 0,5% for weapon
Adept : 1,2% for armour and 0,2% for weapon

Gives for armour : 3,4+2,4+1,2 = 7 : 3 = 2,3333% chance to get an armour chest from doing a T4 fractal (3 chests)

For weapon : 1,4+0,5+0,2 = 2,1 : 3 = 0,7% chance to get a weapon chest from doing a T4 fractal (3 chests).

Exactly my point. I cannot agree more.

I only pug (alone) and most of the time all T4 fractals (except swamp and molten duo) take more than 15 mns to complete (can also be a lot longer). That’s a fact.

I only do fractals for ascended boxes, wouldnt bother to do this content (did it enough) every day without this reward. I know faster way to make gold if I need it and I dont need T7 mats.

That’s a joke right, the fractals have never been faster to run, a good group can clear nearly any fractal level in under 15 mins, with a chance and rares/exo’s from end chest, + daily chests.

15 mns with pugs ? You have to be really lucky… Even a good group will need more than 15 mns for T4 underground facility, uncategorized or thaumanova reactor… For the player’s majority, your argument is a joke.

As for rewards, the daily rewards are up and down, normally someone always gets something ascended when in a group, the last 4 days for me personally all T4 rewards have been poor, but its just RnG, last week I got 3 T7 mats, and an armor box, so its probably on course when I look at it spread out over a month or so.

As said before 2,4% for 120 chests, doesnt look like “up and down”, more likely “down” only.

Fractals take more time for less reward… Typical Anet move…

Did all T4 dailies since 19/04 patch. That’s 20 days (incuding patch day and today) for 120 chests (T4+T3).

Armour wise I got 2 ascended boxes (gloves + boots). For me, drop rate is 2,4%, really far from drop rate before patch.

So fractal loot nerfed ? Yes.

Been here since GW1 and no legendary despite the fact i’ve 6 looted precursors sitting in my bank. Didnt even bother to make a single legendary. Why for ?

Legendary weapon collection : Hell no !

As a repeatable achievement, Toypocalypse should count for 1 in meta’s requirement. It doesnt count at all and that’s a bug.

Same problem for me, i have 2 achievs completed last year and these achievs are not counted in my total…

Total says 14/18 when detailed list shows 16/18 achievs done…
