I’d like the Hawk Wing Glider Skin. Doesn’t even need to be discounted, that’s just the only glider skin I want.

I’m having this issue as well. I’m stuck at 901/1,000. No matter what I kill the achievement doesn’t progress.

I agree. The voice acting, writing, and character animations during conversations are disappointing. The dialog doesn’t feel natural and even if it were well written, the voice acting is universally bad; which is surprising given that many of the voice actors are excellent and have given great performances elsewhere. I can only imagine then that there is a directorial issue, someone not giving the actors enough to work with or enough background on their character.

As a side issue, the writing in general is very disappointing. Everything is so generically ‘fantasy’ that nothing is surprising or unexpected. Issues are solved by deus ex most of the time (we found an artifact or some such), characters all seem to have one and only one salient personality trait… It may have been naive to expect more sophisticated writing, but modern western RPGs have been raising the bar for story telling and the closer video games come to having true literary value, the happier I am.

I will note a few exceptions to my criticism. Tybalt of the Order of Whispers was a charming character that felt believable. I wanted to know more about him and work more with him. Forgal’s (from the Vigil) acting was varied and felt authentic. He had a variety of tones and moods, you could tell when he was being sarcastic and his delivery gave you a good indicator of his mood without being overt – for comparison, he didn’t just shout when angry, where as Logan seemed to just raise his voice t show anger.

I am wondering this as well… say we deleted or used them after the event started but before this effort was made to make amends?

I don’t this race change will ever be an option, not because ANet doesn’t want to do it, but because your personal story is tied to your race – if you could change your race, you’d have to be able to just reset your story completely or something.

I just wanted to post a list of things I’d buy from the Black Lion shop that I doubt will ever be on it to see if there are any folks who feel the same.

-Asuran Travel Pass: your fast travel costs are negated for the month
-Alternate Transformation Skins: alternate textures for transformation skins, such as a red wolf or white raven for Norn elites, or an autumnal color scheme or moss configuration for the Gift of Melandru elite.
-Pallets of Colors: instead of random dye packs, 3~5 specific shades, this has been discussed elsewhere
-Alternate Particle Effects: some people have said they’d like something other than the purple butterflies for their mesmer

Just a few things that have occurred to me. Chime in if you have any thoughts.

I’d like a makeover ticket too! I haven’t flubbed any characters yet, but I know something will start bugging me eventually.

I’d definitely appreciate some more armor with sex-appeal. Having a character that appears both attractive and powerful is pretty important to me and right now my female norn warrior looks powerful but a lot of the heavy armor almost negates the appearance of their gender.

I agree that the cultural armor is too expensive at the highest tier.

I’d like to see both more armor skins and more town clothes in the gem store.

I’d love this! More character creation options in general is definitely something I’d buy.
