here is the thing about the rifle…ability 2-5 are on such low CD that it is just outright better than P/P or P/S rifle has CD 10-10-15-20 where P/P has 10-15-15-30 and P/S has it the worst with 10-15-30-40 and that’s not all…the damage scaling from the pistol is so low from power that you’re just wasting the stat and condi isn’t much better since the autos only apply 2 sec of one stack of bleed so it doesn’t make up for it very well…i think its really stupid that they made the rifle the only viable weapon in pvp…I use P/S anyway since I enjoy its play style better and I like to be different but it’s really stupid how much worse it is than the rifle.
i think we can all agree that now that turrets take conditions and can be crit that they are way to glass…the thumper turret is the only one that stands a chance…so this is what i propose as nerf-buff to get them back in the game…make them all just as tanky as the thumper turret! they still take all kinds of damage so its fair to more build types but they dont just die when u slap a few condi on them or zerker right through them in 2-3 hits. and then every1 is happy!
i do it on turret engi…the turrets deal a flat amount of dmg that doesnt go up with power…but condition damage DOES increase the damage of the flame turret so i run thumper flame and rocket turret for high aoe dmg and i run pistol shield for high condi apply and cc as well as some good defense bonus and blast finisher… its completely viable to run settlers in pve OR pvp and i run this build in both and i do quite well, tho i have a few modifications i make in pvp
yea it was the fear that confused me it gets converted into stability XD sorry guys
well thanks for the info on it at least guys and maybe ANET should consider adding a stability pulse to well of power. that would at make things a lot easier on the necro and if u made it pulse to allies that would add some great support ideas for ppl looking to branch out and not follow every1 else…speaking of which i feel ANET is slowly moving down the same path WoW did with the whole cookie cutter builds…i mean why are they nerfing everything to the point where u can only play a class 1 or 2 ways and everything else isnt even viable competitively? increasing build diversity would def improve the game in my opinion

i have been playing since pre-release and i have always played my necro as wellmancer…stability is not new to this skill. that being said i may have been mistaken if I saw the stability from fear conversion on pulse but am still fairly certain that i would have noticed if that was the case…something is amiss here.

its been a long time since i played my necro but im fairly certain that not only did it pulse stability but it even granted stability to allies each pulse as i used it that way in the past and i think i would have noticed if it didnt work as i noticed it now that i have started playing necro again…and assuming they changed this…that means necromancer has no way to gain stability unless using an elite skill or going 6 points into soulreaping so that u get stability when entering deathshroud???that doesnt seem right to me!

did any1 else notice how well of power no longer gives stability when it pulses?
i would like to see this fixed as well
Well of Power is only giving 1 stack of 1 second of stability rather than refreshing it every 1 second on pulse.
no i didnt have the masters bond and thats what im saying is that the tool tip is saying it should have way more dmg than it does…or that the damage is incorrect which is yet to be determined but if they are doing correct dmg for 0 condition dmg then the tool tip should be the only buggy thing here
i did however i had already thought of that and had taken away my condition dmg just to make sure and it changed nothing on dmg or tooltip
ok so here is this HUGE glitch that i found and idk why no1 noticed this or what but crazy impact on ranger dps. So all the tooltips for pet dmg from conditions is wrong!!! and not by a little either my salamander drake F2 tooltip says it does 2640 dmg from burning and it only does 1640!! thats 1000 less dmg!!!!! not only that but the reefdrake says it does 625 dmg with confusion and it only does 325!!! and the lynx says it does 3300 dmg from bleed but it only does 1700!!! HOW DO PPL NOT NOTICE THE PETS DPS FROM CONDTIONS IS ALMOST HALF WHAT IT SHOULD BE!!!!
note: was in heart of the mist so idk if they nerfed ranger pets conditions in PvP and just didnt update tooltips or if the dmg is just incorrect
