Please consider shortening the offseason… it is way too long. Unranked and ranked are both unplayable during the offseason. Idk if your data tells you something different, but matches consistently seem beyond terrible every offseason.

+1… long time fan of the pro scene (as small as it is). This was by far the least fun I have had watching matches since the petting zoo disaster of pax prime. Please don’t wait 2 months to fix this mess anet.
Aight… just saying I get pros too. My match to get into sapphire had 6 total pros in it (granted, it was 3 on each side so it was a solid match). I am not immune to queueing into pros.
I still think the leagues are kitten and wish they would just expose mmr to have a real skill based system… just saying it isn’t impossible to climb solo.

Except I have fought full abjured premade as well… Not saying I never get stomped by a pro league team… just saying that the large majority of my matches are significantly easier.

Does rune of the lich still give 20% duration when you have 4 equipped? This is a question I have because I remember it used to be bugged and give 20% instead of 10%. I am curious as to whether it still is bugged because if it is then necros can grab 100% condi duration without and major traits. With the potential new trait changes that means I could spec 30/30/10/0/0 and still have 2 second fears while being able to get burning with 80% uptime. Also I would not have to sacrifice greater marks or terror or either lingering curse/ withering precision. So… If anyone knows whether this rune set still gives a 20% boost when you have 4 equipped and could answer my question that would be greatly appreciated. And just to clarify, I would achieve 100% duration through 2 Lyssa runes 4 lich runes 30 spite trait points and the koi cakes.
Same problem here. This is extremely aggravating as it makes wvwvw completely unplayable for me. It’s now crashed 5 times. Please fix this ASAP… This is a huge problem

I am a lurker on the necromancer forums, but I have been playing the necromancer since release. I am proud to say that I love the class. However, the one mechanic that angers me most is Death Shroud. I love the idea of the Death Shroud mechanic as a whole; however, I believe that there is a lot left to expand on.
First off, I believe Death Shroud should have skills that are based off the weapons you are holding. This change allows Anet to fix the glaring flaw with Death Shroud: it strictly appeals to power builds. I believe by implementing this change, this glaring weakness would be solved, as Death Shroud would be able to be adjusted to fit the play style involved with each weapon. Also, I believe this change would allow for increased versatility of Death Shroud as the skills could be designed to supplement the play style of the weapon held. For example, the main hand Dagger’s Death Shroud could retain a gap closer, as this increases the original weapons effectiveness. However, the main hand Dagger’s Death Shroud would obviously not retain an AoE skill, as that goes against the effectiveness of the weapon, single target burst. Furthermore, each weapon could be customized to the strength of the weapon… Scepter with conditions/snares, Staff with AoE/CC, etc. This opens up an entirely new realm of possibility to expand the effectiveness of each weapon, as well as give the Necromancer much needed versatility. Also, this would increase the skill cap of the profession, as people would need to become accustomed to timing weapon swaps, as each one would give access to 10 unique skills.
The second and last change to Death Shroud that I propose is adding a fifth skill. It does not make sense to simply limit the versatility of our class mechanic, just because. Please Anet, just give us a fifth Death Shroud skill. Also, I believe this fifth skill should be based on both weapons, allowing additional decisions to be made when forming builds. I believe thief has this implemented already, where the third skill is different if you’re D/D as opposed to D/P. This change to Death Shroud would further increase versatility and viability to weapon sets.
Despite these great benefits, I know even if the developers were to take on this challenge of revamping the class mechanic, it would take incredible effort and time, but the end result would surely be fantastic. Please, Anet consider introducing this mechanic in the future and Necromancers viability, versatility, skill cap, and popularity would surely increase. I know my hopes are way too high, but I love the class and this change needs to come eventually in my opinion. Surprise me devs! Leave any discussion on possible skill suggestions or ideas about this concept in the comments… I’d love to hear what other Necromancers in the community think about this idea! TL;DR: I believe basing Death Shroud on weapons and adding a fifth skill would add incredible versatility to the Necromancer and increase the skill cap of the profession. Also, I believe this would give an increase to viability to Death Shroud’s use in all builds.
I actually enjoy the new dailies. They are not tedious but at least make you aim for something. Only one I hated was the combo killer one but that has been removed so I am all for the current daily system
I can confirm this is not working as well. We are trying on over 30 mobs with a obvious finish as kill and not updating
This is a great idea. I hate how they take up inventory slots too. However, for your problem with the deposit collectibles feature just use a safe box and put it in there and it won’t be deposited… Fixes the issue temporarily.
+1 to this. These dungeons were the best of gw1 and very well designed. I would live to see them redone with more tricks in gw2. Any sort of content like this that requires coordination is great and I really hope they implement these eventually.
