EB has a lot more people, SO hop in and troll that zerg! Then theres BLs, as far as I know they were deleted because no one goes there anymore.
I didnt read previous reponses so pardon me if i go against what anyone’s said without mentioning it. But i personally find DH an upgrade to to my previous gaurdian build. I destroy most players in pvp, and do well in pve with my new DH. But i do have to say…its all in the DH traits and LB. There’s alot of complaints about the traps being overpowered. Personally the traps are aweful unless youre fighting unskilled players and the traps arent great in pve.
But the traps seem to do really well in wvw zerging situations, that being said DH traps seem only useful when fighting bad players in wvw/pvp. But the traits and longbow is definitely superior to the guardians scepter in terms of pvp, small wvw fights, pve and dueling due to its great range, CC, potential damage boost and condition removal.
DH is good

So I tried the new raid…
I think it’s pretty awesome, finally PvE I enjoy.
Based off my personal experience you dont need X number of Y class, its more play what you like to play but maybe just change up your build to increase the odds of finishing the fight.
The things I’ve noticed and like is everyone has to be doing 110%, there is no one hero who will carry the teams damage or sustain. Work as a group or die!
The mechanics of the fights are easy to learn, and hard to master. Dont expect to go in as a zergling and press buttons and win.
I think if you get a guild group and practice quite a bit it will always require people staying focused!
Tonight me and a few guildies (mainly pugs) downed the first boss with 32 seconds left on enrage. We definitely wiped a few times but practice makes perfect! Hoping to get the second boss tomorrow. I play a power guardian running cavaliers, valkyrie, and berserker and i have to say this is the first PvE GW2 content that i truly enjoyed since I made my guardian 1,185 days ago.
Keep up the good work Anet, and happy raiding fellow GW2 players!
Sounds like a great idea to me. There’s always a lot of players asking for build tips and such. Map/team chat is always full of questions and I think this would make it easier for people to find a build that fits their playstyle.
Today I played my Guardian in EB during reset and realised something that I think its a bit broken and should be fixed…
I realised that if you use Renewed Focus and press Dodge while casting it, it will interrupt Renewed Focus and it wont recharge your Virtues…
That got me killed twice today and hope Anet see this as a bug too and decide to fix it…
So you want to be invincible, while evading all attacks? Why? Wait until it renews your virtues, I have been playing guard for years now on gw2 and I’ve yet to have an issue with this.
How would you want to expand the guardian class?
What should be buffed so that an entire new viable build is made? What is that entire new build you envision?
Spirit Weapon build- Spirit weapon cooldown starts right when summoned instead of disappearing. I really really want to play a SW build so bad. But when SW lost its immunity to attacks, SW build lost its viable status in all forms of gameplay.
Condi Guardian- Radiant Retaliation needs something more added than turning Retal into condi. Right now, it is a trait that decreases the guard’s power instead of increasing it.
Condi Guardian Master of burning- Permeating Wrath will now have a 1200 range. It consistently spreads burning everywhere. Also, burning needs to scale better with condi gear.
Or they could just make SW scale from power.
Decreases the guardians power? You’re doing it wrong than.
Lmao so godmode fire? 1300+ Burning ticks are plenty
