I’ve noticed this and it does bug me. I also have issues with the Norn female voice, it grates on me at times, and if we’re going to be hearing our characters speak a lot more in HoT it might get annoying… I think I’m leaning towards Human. The animations are still decent (I do like the GS chain-end uppercut) and they hold a staff nicely with a good empower animation.

Because it’s not about turning HoM back on quickly so that legit owners can get their skins. It’s about clearing out all the HoM points they gave out accidentally BEFORE they turn it back on. It IS being handled, as Gaile has twice pointed out. Clearly it is not a simple fix. You can either wait patiently, or you can wait impatiently.

It’s time to roll a guardian. I’ve narrowed it down to either female Human or female Norn. Humans seem to have better armor choices but Norns might have better animations… Show me yours and tell me why you love/hate your choice!

It would be amazing if it would change the glow colour, but I don’t think it’s likely to happen personally. The Poly-luminescent Undulating Refractor Gem is probably the best we can do for changing it

You know you can just convert gems directly to gold…

I would guess so, no reason why not. The smoke probably wouldn’t be as obvious as the black colour makes it though.

Yeah you can barely notice the effect without it, like you say it’s the heat “shimmer” effect but nowhere near as visible

The poly gem is like a blanket darkening/blackening of everything about your character, not really a dye

Smouldering

You can also combine it with a (Black) Poly-luminescent Undulating Refractor gem to get black smoke smouldering from your character

Someone made a video showing some color effects on the Balthazar outfit, and if you wear a black poly-luminescent undulating refractor gem with it then you have black smoke coming from you awesome touch!

No. The bug about getting HoM on creation occured when simply completing the intro (and getting level 2). Also, I’ve completed level 10 story on new characters a couple of times within the last 2 weeks and had no problem. Seems like you have a new bug on you.

If you lost gems but got no gold, I would hardly consider that an exploit…

In the “Temple of the Forgotten God” personal story mission, once you get to the stage “Investigate the Cathedral of Hidden Depths” you are supposed to interact with the Abaddon Shrine to cause the boss to spawn. I am interacting with it (only dialogue option is to leave) again and again but he will not spawn. I cannot progress past this bug.

Guys you can go ahead and create your characters – the bug can’t be triggered any more since the last hotfix. No need to worry about it happening to you.
