Hey guys! It’s Circle of Nine,

I would like to invite everyone to join our stream tonight. Live discussion with a full patch coverage. Discussion about all changes that will occur today. We will discuss all changes for all classes. Testing new skills, checking old bugs. If you want us to test something, just write it down on the chat of our stream. We will answer as many questions as possible and test the things you would like us to test!

We presume the patch will hit around 20:00 CET so we will start streaming 20:30, share our builds and thoughts at the end.

Also coming up soon is a new video explaining advanced commander tactics for both guild and pug commanders that want to learn something!

Dear Knochenkult,

I completely understand where you’re coming from and I was in no way trying to complain about what happend. I just wanted to explain where the complaints by my guildmates were coming from and state our opinion on this matter and say that we are sad because of it.

Ofcourse I don’t expect it to change, but much as I’ll say it to everyone if we had amazing fights, I will also tell people that the fights weren’t so amazing and why this was the case

Hope you see that I’m not trying to flame but merely trying to give an idea of how we experienced the raid every evening and why we felt that way in case someone cares.

We will run on the border that we are required to run in the eyes of the AR community On the numbers: We usually run anywhere between 20-30 guys on a raid the average on weekends is around 27 (although we can hardly achieve that with the current queues caused by the wvw achievements) and on weekdays around 23.

I would just like to state that the complaints about the blobs from PS and RS are based on what we personally face in the time we personally play. So don’t bring in that our current server blobs in the night with 10 golems in that discussion please. The reason the CoN members in this matchup thread responded in this way is that we simply want some good fights and it makes us sad to find the enemy outnumbering us so much that we feel like we can’t do anything. This is our personal point of view and poorly expressed by our members here in a way i do not condone (please refrain from posting this again in our name guys).

I’ll leave further QQ behind, I just want to ventilate our opinion towards you, I’m sure weekends are always a bit more crowded I just hope some guilds will face us with equal numbers this week instead of waiting for all their friends to make a big ball of lag.

Hope we can enjoy a nice matchup this week nonetheless.

1) maybe we weren’t on your border, so it could’ve been a different situation there
2) you speak mostly of nighttime, i dont know what went on there my member is only talking about the primetime we played in our border where guilds were holding hands, no personal offence on your server.

Thanks [OP] for the sparring. Although being a bit rusty from our recent slack and crippled in setup because of the lack of people transferred we had a very good share of fights against a worthy opponent. Kudos!

For the rest of the evening we could unfortunately not do anything with our decreasing numbers and could not set up a proper fight with the big guild groups running around. Nonetheless a great second evening on Augury Rock server. So thank you all!

CoN’s first day on AR (We come from SFR, some might know us) was great fun. Although occasionally heavy outnumbered great fights with all groups on EB and later on BB border. Thanks to our new home server for the warm welcome and I look forward to crossing swords with the rest of you As for the request from [WAR] : We usually raid between 7-10pm CEST with full force (20-25 guys)

My apologies to guilds that were on SFR border tonight (GoW, Eqnx or whatevs, and others) I was leading a pugraid which i normally never do and a lot of people showed up. So we blobbed you hopelessly, tried to let your solo’s run away but pugs didnt listen that well. Hope we can meet in more equal numbers next time

Let me just throw out here that [CoN] and [GD] have had their differences but there has always been a significant amount of mutual respect, and when it comes to [CoN] as a whole there still is. I suggest we stop the whole ZBs vs GD thing because honestly, what do you think you’re going to achieve in this thread? Nobody’s going to admit they’re wrong.

So maybe I’m an idealistic fool but I think, especially since Anet doesn’t care too much about our community, the last thing we need is more chest pounding gorrilla’s on these forums setting us up against eachother.

Thanks [Mya] for the fun GvG today, worthy opponents. Thanks all others for this nice matchup, I enjoyed it very much. INC, SPRT, XT, Dsun, Rise, RuNL and others ofcourse. Great fights and even though GvG might be dead soon but I’m sure these matchups continue to give a good share of fights.

Good luck with it, but SFR is FULL. We actively deny new players. Our community is strong and you will not receive a warm welcome at all. We are overcrowded, please seek your luck elsewhere

Troma, we have the same problems on SFR atm, people are feeling elitist and the cohesive community is fading. As instead have people that only want to blob for wxp on SFR and we don’t have authority over them as guilds.

It’s this weird thing called tactics…or just thinking in general. If someone has no people for god knows what reason on a border, you attack them Should try it once, seems to work great for us!

About double teaming, SFR as server would never agree to team up with any server for a 2v1 matchup, so don’t get that illusion because an individual told you so please.

Tbh that statement is “pot calling the kettle black” CON and ECL tags where joined at the hip on our bl at reset.

Now, without starting further arguments there were (counted carefully) THREE ECL guys with us because ECL didn’t have a raid

Have a nice matchup (and I know AFTL dont run the numbers to take on guilds on their own, you only run like 10 ppl so It’s understandable you team up for guilds 3x your size)

I must say that SFR blobbed at some point. But you can’t tell me you were that few. We [CoN] are open to any GvGs since we’re usually only fighting with 40+ (woops sorry, 23 tonight) so I hope to hear from you and that this matchup can start without throwing kitten at eachother. I feel deso guilds have no respect atm (chasing 3 guys across the entire map when we lost a fight) but I hope we can finish this matchup more positive than we started it

Thanks [RuNL] for the GvG tonight, and [FURY] for the share of fights we had afterwards, you had a slight edge on numbers but we generally feel you are skilled opponents too

In response to the [GD] blobbing discussion. All I want to add to this is that the opinions of individual players in no way resemble the attitude of CoN towards GD. Everyone has a blob every once in a while. Intended or unintended. And we think GD is indeed a very strong and worthy opponent.

Furthermore thanks for fights on SFR border today. SPRT with a few pugs were tough. Later on good fights vs. Mya and GL (although the skill lag got a bit too much in 3ways with you and elona).

I’m sorry but zerker mesmer is really not viable in zerg/guild play, not because the dmg is kitten, it’s good but 100% zerker will make you WAY to vulnerable against good opponents, you really need 18k+ hp and decent toughness to be able to provide any support in the first place mate.

Solo roam → most certainly still viable

Guild/zerg play → no, and never has been

Dear Anet (or any reader really),
After having played your game in many strong guilds, leading pugs, leading raids, seeing all aspects of WvW and enjoying every single moment of it, I would like to speak up. You are getting a lot of complaints (complaining is in a gamer’s nature) from the WvW community.

I know Guild Wars 2 is aimed at the more casual players, which is not a bad thing. Players can easily join, level up fast in PvE or WvW and grinding is at a minimum. However, casual (PvE) players come and go and sPvP (which was supposed to be your core of the game) has pretty much failed.

There is one group of loyal players that play on a daily basis though : The WvW players. They will stay here and because it’s hard to please them with your current crew it might be wise to invite some WvW veterans (for example guild leaders from highly respected guilds) to help you understanding what it is that the community desires and believe it or not. I think many are willing to be realistic with you.

The devs from Anet have shown they prefer small scale camp capping on the WvW streams. Now maybe these other people can help you understand how it is to roll in 25man guild groups and what changes there could be made on this level.

Sorry for the chaotic post, hope it was understandable and of any use.
