I don’t see where people think you got min of 30gold worth of stuff. I checked the sword and dagger I got and it’s worth 4 total. The sword is a level 76 exotic? what’s up with that? I was a bit annoyed even some people in my guild got precursers that go for 300. I don’t think they should have been included in the loot table tbh. The scale between 5 gold and 300 is a bit much to swallow.

I buyed 2 Bankplaces, 2 Weeks after Release. Costs: 3-4 Gold. I don’t really need a 20 slot bag, and I can’t even sell it(!). A weapon would have been nice. 80 exotic, not 76/78 Underwaterweapons for a 80 Nekro/Ele/Thief/Mesmer.
But as somebody said: 4 Gold for me, almost 800 Gold for another. This was a bad decision, and I dont’t know how Anet will fix this gap between winners and losers. The chance is over and I’m not suprise that they don’t say anything, anymore hm? 36h after the desaster.

The last weeks in Wow were very frustrating. Because I’m a nice person I handed a pair of heavy armour to a guildcollege with the start of the new raidcontent. His Equip wasn’t as got as mine.

And 4 Months in a row these pair BIS-shoes never dropped again. And I thought: “Jesus, here you go again, you have to be more selfish, roll with them, fight with them, SCREAM at them – but don’t give it just to them, stupid girl. But hey, soon there will be GW2, and there is no RNG where you have to decide. Then everybody has the same Equip, and they just look different, depending how much time they have in the game. Just like in good, old GW1. This will be heaven, yeah.”

And here I am, well at least, I haven’t decide. But it is like Heaven, then god but his friendly hand on this person – and this not.
I’d play mostly time WvW in GW2, til last week, well, this is being a loser, since release. Loser against PVE. Culling, Lag, less Loot, Loot where u just walk over, horrible looking Armour, taking XP/Karma, and never put something good in. Not even a sentence in the last patchnotes about Wvw. Like the last few months.
Okay, Anet, thx, I maybe be a stupid girl, but not so stupid. And now, with my little, tiny, small money I’ve to pay the prices, that more people can efford now? This is the point, that many people don’t get. Maybe the precur-whatsoever get cheaper? But what is with all the other things?

Well, I always said, GW2 will be my last MMO. And it is. I’m really, really tired from developers making bad, bad decisions. And in this event, there where many. Arenenet was my last hope. Well, I buy me a PS3

(300 € that don’t go in the Gem-Shop, muhaha, REVENGE!! Take that!)

Edit: I really like the post, OP. It’s never got, to put a community apart. I don’t know why Anet doesn’t know that. But GW1-Anet isn’t GW2-Anet, right?

Solution: Just kitten enough people off. People playing in Asia/Australia, people who get kicked, their chest in their reach, people who don’t were lucky, and are still “poor” and can not pay the prices anymore: Half quit – Problems solved.

Watching Mos.millenium it seams that almighty Deso incl. Ruin is really getting stomped by BT, we will see. Maybe this is a sign for some NA-players that EU is not only PvD, and that they will have more fun in their own ladder? We will see, too.
What I’m afraid of is that in the next weeks, the first in T2 will change places with the third T1. That would be VZ and ER in the moment. I`m playing on ER, I think as a languagetagged Server it`s no shame to say that we can`t handle 24\7. So, if anyone from ER had anytime the ambition running nacked with a Level one-Char in Wvw – now it`s the time!

Troma from GC asked us to make an Alliance like they done before for 2 weeks with Arborstone. That’s really a shame but we accepted against his webcam show.

What is it that RG players always have to chat things out? Last week a pic from one! EF asking for a tower, now GC. There are always people with lower ambitions.

Nono, many people of Deso said to the other Servers: “Stop whining, if you want to be in B1 you need 24/7.” There is no sleeping in the first bracket.
I’m not a fan of BT, to many soldier for hire. But if they march over Deso, I will laugh my kitten off. Maybe this is the sign for midranged Guilds that there is more then PvD if they come over. And they should better stay at home.

I think the next patch (why next, there wasn’t a first?) will be something about… I don’t know, little houses instead of towers ? Seriously, if you compare how many fixes, events and “coming up”-Interviews there is in PVE and s/tPVP, I don’t expect nothing for WvW in the next 6 months. Optimistic.

Jupp, sitting in buildings like, pardon, ducks. Everyone know that it’s cost more effort taking something if the enemy has the whole night and half the day to decorate everthing with siegeweapons, portals, upgraded walls/doors etc.. You need more people, tactics, cutting of the supply for example. That takes time, and money.
So, even if the defenders are at the same income-level, their are not equal in this time(!). Because they have an advantage. They should have even more points, if they got enough people in this time.

24/7-Servers always bring this argument, to show that they are so good as the others.
And sry, to say: they are not. Thats PR, not a proof. But that doesn’t matters. because this game honours at first coverage, not “skill”, organisation, a productive server-com whatsoever.

1st. You play on FR / German / Spanish server ? your problem.

Okay, this might be the opinion of Arenanet, too. Ignoring 25% of the Wvw-Playerbase. In numbers we are not so much, thinking about the fact that their can’t be more then 2000 Player in Wvw at the same time, without waitingtime. 13 Servers, makes maybe less then 3-5% of the playerbase. Okay, I would ignore this too, but the ähm the Image-Damage (translating german in english) is there.
The problem is: public Ranking in Wvw was not the best idea. Correct me if I’m a wrong, but I’d never seen a game with eSport-Character in Mass-PVP. Thats ridiculous. I don’t care if my Server ist 1. oder 10. oder 20. I want to have nice fights. Maybe without logging in, and seeing everything fill up with upgrades, but that would be a challenge too. In my opinion Ranking is a cheap way to make something interesting,.
Maybe more love in Maps, Siegeweapons, Benefits would have been the better way?
There was always a kind of Serveridentity, over here almost everybody hopp around, looking for the next freewin, make fun of people that are more “tradtional” and wants to seetle down and 24/7 coverage defines the new “Skill”. Thats the playerbase that is attracted by Ranking? Nice.
Image-Damage. I was a huge Fan of Anet, after GW1, the best PVP, I’ve seen until then. And now? Many DaoC-People cried about the way WAR was developed. Know how they feel now ^^.
It’s to late, have to accept it, and say bb to real WvW. Well, in GW2, there is always a new Game-Release . And now GW2 is a nice study, how not to make it. Okay, maybe I get me a PS4, I’m rly tired about the Next-Next-Gen-MMO…

And to make it clear: I’ve got no problems with Americans, I got a blue passport myself, my father was born in the beautiful south. But, I’m still traditional and stubborn. Yeah. No game will force me how (PvD) or where (NA) to play, sry.

In the last days the latency wasn’t the best, even if you play as an EU on an EU-Server. Since the last Halloween-Patch, I think. And it is even worse since the Culling-Problem was offical noticed. I’d never had problems using my skills, but this happy times are over.
Doors at night, in “my” EU-Night, don’t fight back. I think Ruin and guilds like them don’t have as many problems like me. Who lives here. Tze.

So latency is not really a explanation for me… can we put that do the elephant, too? Pls…

Is this whole off-peak/nightcapping issue new to EU with the arrival of Ruin a couple of weeks ago? Because it’s (nightcapping, etc) been going on in N/A servers for a while. It got a lot of people angry but the solution was recruitment drives. Any server T3 or higher has at least some level of off-peak coverage from Oceanic/Asia/EU. Any server seeking to reach that level is trying to do the same.

Or am I missing something here?

There are not many englishspeaking Persons that wants to play on a german/french/whatever Server. That’s the point you are missing.

but I think Necro does area denial better. Esp traited for the larger marks, you can cover the entire front of a tower. Most people are afraid to trigger the marks even if they do little damage. But those that do trigger it, then you know where to dump all your AOE, even if you can’t see them yet.

This. I paint the walls in green with my Necro, and I like it . Seeing numbers, and many people jumping away from the siege weapons. With 24k HP I come near enough to pull people down, thats a lot of fun because I know how they feel ^^.
And at the ground I can draw a line with my signs, that nobody wants to cross. So I can save a few catapults if they have a good place without an open backline.
My first Character hitting 80 was an Ele, and well…. it’s okay, additional for CC on bridges and things like that. But.. I like Necro more, and I don’t think that the 10 Points in Deathmagic is drown away. This dead rabbit for 5, okay, but thats another topic :/

Hm, what to you want in t1 if you don’t “care for winning”?
2 weeks? Has to be the socalled “Herbstferien”: school-vacation. Last week was one day, I think, only in catholic Zones or “States” in Germany, like Bayern (Hint: Munich, Oktoberfest, Bier). And there aren’t so much anymore. Me, I had to take my poor kitten to work, like the most people living in germany.

It’s not like Anet forced every German to roll on a [DE] server. Those who rolled on a language specific server did so knowing WvW is a 24/7 battle, so I don’t really get why you keep whining about it. Don’t like it? Well, free transfers are still on.

Not whining. Just telling the truth. Yes, its hard to take, but like Deso you missed an option. Maybe in a few months nobody remember.
