I thought the Blizzard pricing and lack of content was crazy but HoT tops this by a huge margin. I have no respect for Anet now, just another MMO consumed by pure greed.
So both guild leaders ( my self and a friend ) decided to move to a server more suited to us etc etc, upon logging in and looking at the guild roster / upgrades we noticed they are all gone as well as the influence points.
I would like all upgrades and influence points that we had prior to moving server please.
I hate Orr as a zone, mobs are way to close together and it’s a real pia if you’re solo. I have stopped playing GW2 now because of this ONE zone.
I get what Anet is trying to do with this zone but for one putting mobs all over the place doesn’t make it “so i feel under constant threat” it just makes it a BIG GRIND to get to one place to another.

The “306.02 beta” drivers give me around 10 more fps with GW2 then the “306.23 WHQL”

When will people understand that “End game content” means for max level. I don’t care how Anet or any other company try to spin the end game meaning, end game is what you do at max level and not go back to a zone you have 100% on.
I have a feeling that no sense of progression is what will make a lot of people leave, including my self. I love this game don’t get me wrong but this game has no end game.
I don’t buy into this crap that end game starts at level 1, since end game is about max level doing max level content everything else before hand is for leveling.
I don’t think you understand or grasp what the guild wars games have been about. They are about the experience and content (horizontal scaling) where as 95% of the rest of the MMOs out there are about vertical scaling or tiered gear grind. This game is meant to hit a cap for stats so if your looking for more stats your playing the wrong game.
Think of this game like League of Legends in terms of horizontal scaling. Do you think when people hit level 30 summoner that they quit playing because there is no more stat progress? Of course not.
Yes i do understand what guild wars is about, but what i’m saying is that ( I’m sure I’m not a lone on this ) if you don’t feel like you’re growing in power at max level then there is no sense of progression, doing 5mans might be enough for some people but it will not be for most.
( Don’t bring LoL into this, that game is so bad in all kinds of ways )
I have a level 80 Warrior and i think i will be quiting this game until melee is fixed up.
- Being 1 shot in Exp mode isn’t fun.
- Hard to see most of the bosses attacks to dodge.
- Dodge sometimes makes you rubber band and you teleport back into the mobs attack and get 1shot.
- Being forced to play a Melee profession at ranged is total bs.
Thats just PvE, don’t get me started on WvWvW.
I’m having a real hard time with the no tanks/heals deal with GW2, I miss being a tank :/ I have not played WoW in 8 months but i think i will be going back to play a tank again but i hate the mop xpac /sigh
As the title says, I was doing CM with some friends, and we started discussing how odd it would feel to go back to a standard MMO like Everquest, WoW and Rift, where you can’t dodge and evade the enemies attacks.
See this is my biggest issue with this game is the instances, I’m from Aus and i get rubber banding while dodging ( I’m not a lone with this ) and it just makes doing any kind of Exp mode instance not worth my time. As for WoW at least being a tank i can tank more then 1 hit from a mob in a instance.
