I would suggest you to run Fotm with guildies or friends. Fotm community is the most toxic in this game

Stop being so lazy. I came back to game around December 2014 after around 2 yearkittenus. Now I have full ascended set just by crafting everything myself. If it took around 1.5 months for newbie like me, it will be much easier for constant player like you.

Is it worth a try to get achievements from the Hall of Monuments? I presume, the population in GW1 is really low now and it can be really hard to grind achievements for GW2 through it. According to wiki you also need pvp titles for full achievement points. But with almost dead population it may be impossible to grind pvp titles.

What are good ways to farm skill points? I play pvp and get tomes with scrolls, but I would like to differentiate this experience, since doing only pvp gets really boring.

Is there any difference if I open ticket via in-game support or forum support?

So, I got disconnected when the boss had around 10% HP left. When I was back, I was lying dead on the waypoint. I received the loot and bonus chest, but Aetherpath didn’t count for achievement.

Hey. If you’re still having problem with connecting to GW2, I may have a solution. I had similar problem with dormitory wifi. All you need to do is:
1) Download Your Freedom (don’t know if it’s okay to paste links on software, you can google it)
2) Register account on Your Freedom (free accounts have some restrictions, basic account costs 4 euro/month, which shouldn’t be too expensive)
3) Download OpenVPN
4) Follow this guide: http://www.sl-through-a-proxy.com/
5) Login to your account in GW 2
6) Go to your email account and allow access (Would recommend no to remember the access point, just for security)
7) Play the game (better to get basic account on Your Freedom, free accounts need to reconnect every 60 minutes)

Hello everyone. I’m a casual player (don’t play GW2 much) and on Seafarer’s Rest server. For the past 3 weeks I tried to play on WvW and managed to enter only once for this whole time (queued 7-8 times). Mostly I waited for 3 hours in a queue and then logged out, because it’s way to ridiculous to wait that long just to play a game. Is it same on other servers or it’s unique for SFR? Have these issues been addressed already?

Hello, everyone. First little introduction. Played the game first 1-2 weeks after the launch and had to make a break, because of studies. Came back 2 weeks ago, got lvl 80 today. Want to join a guild, with not strict online requirements (still busy with studies), but with normal level of average online. Interested in everything (PvP, PvE, WvW, etc.). Especially in WvW (still haven’t been there, want to try out). My time zone is CET.
