Hey,

Just returned from a 7 month break from GW2. Xfered to Deso just before the break so I’m still somewhat new to the server.

However, I’ve solely been a WvW player, and I still am. I’ll bring a big chunk of skill and experience in everything from GvG to roaming. I main a Warrior and it’s pretty much the only thing I play seriously as of right now.

So obviously I’m looking for a guild in the areas of everything from Hardcore WvW to PvX guild (does at least raid WvW a few times/week). I do prefer guilds who can field something around +/- 20 people, smaller scale tends to get boring for me right now.

If You think I’m something you could work with, I’d love for some way to get in touch and check out the guild.

Good fights with JQ and FA! I think everyone needed this match-up to happen. Lots of good fights and everyone is staying classy props to everyone! JQ are definitely one of the servers I’ve enjoyed fighting most so far.

Probably shouldn’t have had so many recruitment threads these past few months.

Except FA has had no new recruits, just a bunch of fairweathers who’re logging on while Maguuma’s prematurely wallowing in self-pity, apparently.

You would think the “megazergs” running around would prompt DURP/PYRO to post about farming delicious FA bags, but I’ve yet to see either guild in force in game or in these forums.

Step it up, Mag. I wanna see that #magswag on the field.

D$RP hasn’t been out in force because there are no FA or KN guilds worth fighting. All your server does is drop walls of siege and start boring, protracted battles. Your server is still in the “roll over and die” phase of open field tactics and even TC was a much more interesting engagement. We’ll be out soon. Depending on whether we actually meet an interesting challenge we’ll decide whether to do more than one raid this week.

Um, Maguuma has been doing this since day one. This is nothing new that we have never cared about PPT, score, or winning. You’ll find that many other people on many other servers don’t either. It’s this weird thing called fun and score not being a factor to it.

Yeah losing servers tend to fallback on that statement. I’m sorry you had to face TC who just have superior coverage to even give you guys a chance in this match-up. Though being a sore loser is quite sad.

TC told us in the server meeting they don’t recruit NA guilds, the only reason they approached us is because we are an EB-focused Guild and that’s what attracted the TC community to our Guild. Their recruitment thread even states that NA is not something they need.

Fair enough. Like I said I’m not attacking TC or RE in any way. I just know personally, and I’m sure a lot of other people agree, that for balance reasons it would have been nice to see RE move to a server that needed the help more (even if it wasn’t FA). Or, barring that, moving to a server like JQ so the balance of what was T2 is not messed up further.

My biggest dream is for FA to get some balanced coverage maybe 2 or 3 nice and large guilds (which are going to stay there), so our match-ups get balanced again. Then we toss in our long lost friend DB in here and together we make them our punching bag.

Well what will prolly happen is that i won’t see 3-4 tagged up WM magically appearing in 4 of the borderlands when we will have the chance to face Blackgate at reset.

At least the D|E|RP spy had class and actually bothered to pay gems to be on enemy servers.

First off, TC has more than enough Sentries and Scouts to track Zergs. Second, if those [RE] were so set on “spying” wouldn’t it make so much more sense for them to simply turn their tags off and avoid this whole situation?

You are calling them “spies” and “traitors” like it is impossible for them to actually be fighting for KN while still there. Haven’t you and your friends ever had a “pick up game” of basketball or football/soccer where even though you are all friends you still play against each other?

I really do think it is best if this is bothering you so much for you to just step away and take the week off. You are only causing a lot of strife where there doesn’t need to be any.

im not calling them traitors. just spies. prolly gloating spies. I didn’t see any RE n WvWvW since they announced their transfer to TC. Come reset vs TC and they magically appear in KNBL and EBG. Zerg movement is obvious (commander icon says hello). Guild chats are cross server. Connect the dots.

Can we all please bring down the aggression a bit? CD and SoS [Cult] has enjoyed the fights you guys have brought. The way these matches have become it is very hard to even want to go into WvW when there is a larger force, yet there are many on both your servers that are bringing the fight everyday. A special shot out to SoS that had their natural tower on CDBL last night (I think it was mostly FoE) we knocked the wall down a few times but you guys had that thing locked up!

Na that wasn’t us, or at least while I was there (had to watch the Spurs blow a 10 point lead and cry myself to sleep). We were there but mostly just screwing around with TC players. Do some of you really need to set up an sup arrow cart when you outnumber us by double all while being guarded by a T3 hills? Just takes the fun out of it.

I wish TC would open field fight a lot more, I feel almost forced to try and pull y’all out of the towers/keep but it never happens. There are some very good players on TC and it sucks that 90% run into a tower when they see people. We’ve run into some very good groups but most of our encounters are just suicides into a group to see how many people we can kill before the other 20 group up to wipe 5 guys or pick off stragglers running back to whatever fight is happening.

edit: I even recalled last night I said to my guys “lets go to CDBL and fight whatever TC is there”.. that’s this match-up to the ‘T’… 2 more days then a new match-up

We would welcome you guys to Dragonbrand! As Mayo have mentioned, we still have some areas that we could improve in our NA primetime, and you guys would be a lot of help in that area. DB is not a Kain 2.0 that came all the way from T8 as most people are saying. We have experienced ups and down from mid tier to lower tier, yet we have persevered and became stable in T3. This server has core WvWers that didn’t come in quick massive influx like it was in Kaineng. We play to have fun, and at the same time to stay competitive in WvW!

Also, don’t worry about the server’s full status. If BT can squeeze in to Blackgate, I don’t think you guys will have trouble transferring to Dragonbrand

Well said, DB was well on it’s way to T2 before we got a few more guilds and now we are a solid red/blue T2 server. The time we need players the most is during NA. We are outmanned most of the time during this time slot.

Yeah because you don’t get hundreds of militia bandwagoners aswell when doing the bandwagon dance. You only get two guilds who carry one server up to t2 right?
There is something that doesn’t make sense, but I can’t put my finger on it…

Nontheless I still miss KN, DB is angry with us.

Who cares if DB got new guilds and stuff. It’s only for the greater good. We’ll yet have to see if you guys (DB) can stand up against TC and FA. Everyone know DB have outgrown T3 badly with the stomping the past week. Maybe this will balance the tiers a little bit better. I think KN will fit good in T3 with all the guilds who left, yet I’m pretty sure they can put up a good fight there which might make it a very well-balanced tier. And as I said, DB might fill the KN role perfectly and make T2 well-balanced aswell. We simply have to see if you will be able to put up a fight for the 1st place or at least have a good race for the 2nd.

Anyways isn’t this a good thing? Sometimes transfers is a good thing in the long-term.

Fine we got some CD people over. But we don’t talk 500 players, not even close, not even over 200. We’re still outmanned in EB during those hours with no presence in any BL except TCBL, during a normal day when people don’t put in some extra overtime or performance in WvW.
We don’t have a non-stop 400+ ppt in WvW. We still getting pushed off some maps from time to time.

TC has improved as a WvW server and we have simply learned how to outplay/counter our opponents. What’s the wrong in that? TC wins 3 weeks in a row and suddenly we have destroyed servers, have the same coverage as JQ etc. It’s all wrong. As all servers, when winning, more and more casual players shows up and starts getting interesed, it’s the nature of gaming. I think everyone in here have forgot that this is a GAME.

All these keyboard warriors should just stop the nonsense and stop being bad losers.

TC – We’re winning. Doesn’t that speak for itself? Why even bother to feed the trolls or even visit the forum when it’s toxic like this? Let the dust settle and let it recover to its former maturity and sportsmanship.

FA – As all servers TC have trolls aswell, I recommend to not even bother to argue about all the stuff some people accuse or spit out. If all the FA people in here spent all the time you’re fighting trolls and keyboard warriors on the battlefield instead you’d be challenging us for the first place. I don’t judge FA on all the warriors in here, you’re a respectable and good opponent and let’s keep it that way.

So let’s focus on all the fun we’re having in WvW. All the great fights and awesome stuff which are going on out there as we speak.

Sad to see that T3 is so unbalanced and DB far superior for Mag and YB.
Anyways, you might get your shot at T2 next week if you keep up the pace.
Would be fun with a new opponent in T2 for a change even if you might lack the coverage up there. Good luck to yall.

The SMC battle was really epic, big shout out to KA not giving up after a few wipes, you guys kept coming and in huge numbers. Shows that you have a dedicated force. And a big shout out to my TC army who stood your ground and kept following me into hell, you guys were amazing.

I’d really recommend Cynical for european players aswell. I’m GMT +1 and we have loads of guildies active during so-called EU daytime. Best choice I’ve done was to move to CD and join Cynical. No issues what-so-ever playing on a NA server and a great and active community 24/7.

I’m looking for an active guild with a nice community. Doesn’t matter what you specialize in, but I do enjoy PvE and WvW. Location doesn’t matter either since I’m prepared to move to the server where the guild is located. Big or small don’t matter since I’m just looking for a permanent guild where I can enjoy the game.
Besides that I’m a really active and social player with quite a lot experience of Guild Wars.
My homeworld is currently Gunnar’s Hold.

I’m excited to see any replies or you could either hit me up in-game (Pauchaboi) and we could talk further.

Hello, newbie ranger here, anyone else kinda letdown somewhat with pets, not how they function but the options ANet gave us. Animals like pig, hairless dogs, tons of those big birds (which dont look menacing at all) to name a few.

It would be nice to be able to tame the animals that look more aggressive, like OwlGriffons, Eagle/Hawkgriffons as well as the many raptor types that are in the game.

What do you guys think? Will we ever get the chance to tame the more exotic animals?

They actually were a let down in combat, lack of skills and with people constantly evading they barely hit the enemy. Otherwise I have no complaints about them.
