I thinking we should have something like the tower of nightmares style. Where people would do a giant ongoing event to slightly raise a bar into full rebuilding of Lions Arch. These quests could range from eliminating rats, transporting lumber, or to eliminate the dredge from overtaking the construction project. ect.

Okay so I was playing today and I saw that the Ele staff skill #3 “Gust” Doesn’t do any damage and it isn’t a combo finisher. I feel like it should stay not doing any damage but I also feel like it should be a combo finisher: Physical Projectile because the ele staff’s ground element is the only attunement with combo finishers of any kind. Thoughts anyone? (I wasn’t sure to put this here or in the ele fourm)

Earth is more of a condition attunment, its really nice for S/D because you can use 4 to knock down, 3 to blind, and then charge 5, this it very nice if you want to pull off some bleeding and damage while not even getting hit. 2 is just a nice little addition I keep on while on other attunments because if anyone gets close they get bleeding which can always add up. I don’t really like the Earth in Staff other than in WvW because 4 is a troll and 2 does a large AOE.
Its not hard, its just different then all of the other classes, people just don’t know how to get used to it. I started out with it and now im having a hard time getting used to anything else :/
Ele was my first character and I chose Asura because I love the outcasts of games, i like to be different!!! And also he seemed the most intelligent out of all of the other ones and I like my mage to be smart, not some bruteful maniac.
D/D is only for close range S/D is my favorite, its your faults for not trying it and learning how it works with the combo skills which you can stack might on unlike D/D
Okay lets think about this. If you had a 1v1 match with you as your ele against any other class BUT there was one restriction, you were only allowed to choose one element type and you can’t change it for the entire match. Your screwed no matter who you are facing. With 4 elements, it gives you more skills so you don’t have to wait for a reset on one attunement. This is balanced, if they were ever to add weapon swapping, they would have to almost 2x the cooldowns on each skill and nerf the crap out of them because you have 40 skills while most classes have 5-10.
how about this as an idea:
a new elite skill called “glyph of conjuring”
when activated, summons a conjured weapon of your current attunement, this weapon has no time limit or charges, and will change shape based on your current attunementalso, change firey greatsword to an arcane greatsword (because why do we have a fire skill in the elites? the others are element neutral)
there, a new weapon for us to use with little to no work on ANet’s part
ironically, it would fill the concept of weapon swapping better than our attunements, because each weapon has a clearly defined and unique role
I like this idea! But you shouldn’t be able to drop it because I think you could just start spawning infinite weapons to everyone. It would probably replace all the Conjured items and add this into Elite!
Conjure Earth Shield. Worst idea ever
Yea i feel as this elemental class is more of a battlemage class because the staff just sucks and its the only class that gives you that ranged “Mage” class. I use the Scepter/dagger and even then I do feel like a rouge because im just constantly flying towards my enemy and then doing all this flips and stuff, Mages aren’t supposed to be able to do that, that is why in all movies you see the wizards as some old dude who can barely walk.
D/D Close ninja range S/D Ninja far/close range S/F Sucks Staff Far sucky damage
I like Gromm because it has a nice firm “umph” to it which goes good with a Guardian’s personality 9/10.
Thook I really am not sure about because I think that would go great for a theif name (Thook = Took) 6/10 for a necro.

I think the weapons are fine. Lets look at this realisticly, could somthing that small hold a giant hunk of wood 3x its length and still be able to flip jump in midair? I don’t think so….
