Thing is they want you to show dedication to get the commander title. WvW ranks you just get them as you play, it’s not something you can spend on something else like gold. If you put commander on rank 50-100 what will happen in 2-3 months? Good luck at organizing a frontier with 40 commanders running around

Seriously… This is WvW which we play for fun. The fact that these abilities haven’t got such a huge impact in the game is exactly to prevent any kind of necessary grind…

I will take it just like I did with realm ranks in DAOC, getting to rank 12-13 there could easily take years even for hardcore players, it simply was something that you slowly achieved while ENJOYING the game.

Any european server with Dwayna open? My server seems to be a disaster with this temple xD

One doubt I have, when going for 0/10/30/30, what’s a normal rotation? Right now leveling I have more experience with fire skills, I guess it’s basicly rotating around air and ice for dmg + utility plus the combos with eruption for example?

Hi! Right now I am leveling an ele to get a change from my guardian. My main focus for this char will be WvW and I am not really interesed in D/D. Was thinking of going staff but reading the forums I am not totally aware of how this works. I’m getting the idea that Ele takes a kind of support role with water/arcane spec, obviously having the offensive potential inherent to almost all ele specs.

Now to the questions:
Did I get the right impression or is there some sort of maybe air orientation for wvw?

And second but very important, what should I gear for? Got karma for a few pieces but I am having problems choosing the set I want, should i focus on Pr/T/V? Get some bonus healing?
