To be fair at the current exchange rate 8,000 gems is 1,610 gold, which is less than the permanent bank access is selling for on the TP.

But on the other hand the price leap up last night after the shared inventory slots came out and I’m fully expecting it to drop a lot as the ‘OMG must have!’ crowd get it and more become available. So this would only seem remotely reasonable for a short time.

Edit: Mildly amusing that while typing this I was listening to a song with the lyrics “money money makes the world go round, money money just brings me down”.
(And if you recognise it don’t judge, I have a lot of random crap on my computer.)

This the lack of support is getting old Anet as i just ran into this bug

Just missed beating triple trouble because of this and it would be nice if someone from Arenanet would reply to this topic. I know not everyone has this issue but for the ones that do it is very frustrating to put a lot of time into something and then lose it.

I have the same problem also and have tried a lot of stuff like disabling spi firewall and ddos protection on my router as that was recommend here http://www.guildwars2guru.com/arenanet-tracker/topic/321594-black-screen-issues/

I might try the windowed thing but then my SLI wont work and yes it is very random when it happens

This ^^^^. You can have all the stupid flappy immersion breaking (for me) wings you want but give me the option to not have to see it.

Immersion breaking is a personal opinion thing and should never be an argument for game changes as every player has their own opinion and your is worth no more than mine.

Wings actually do have a lore based place in GW2 as murals of dwayna show her as having wings, potentially even black wings. Additionally the Largos(while only having a small lore parts) also have wings though they are entirely aquatic.

However I do feel that the basic models setting should be just that and have a basic armor set, no back piece, and the basic weapon skins for every character except your own. If you hate the wing skin that much your willing to see every single other player as basically the same that is a fair trade. Obviously this would also make the the most effective for players using it because of having a low end computer.

I can not finish Divinity’s reach without it so i guess it counts towards map completion or its just a bug

good luck with that I spent 10 bucks on Mystery Boxs and got 1 mini everything else was junk its just quick cash for arenanet and the pets don’t even count towards any title. With 65 bucks I could get a new released game instead I am not saying I don’t want to support the game but when I buy something with gems.. i expect to get it not gamble it away that’s for vegas
