Guild Wars 2

I was exploring nw of Melandru’s Reliquary and was jumping off cliffs when I caught an updraft that took me up into the clouds. I broke it off with the spacebar thinking I might get kicked due to out of bounds. I then glided east all the way to the mastery point on the boat east of bloated beach. was this a bug? or has someone else found this updraft?

ignore post. found the 25th mask in the the tree above northwatch waypoint.

according to my achievement log, the only thing left for me to do to complete No Mask Left Behind is get the exalted mask at Northwatch Descent. go to the Northwatch Waypoint, head due north, jump into the pit, go down to the bottom, and there is nothing there. Change characters – do the same. There is nothing there. Watch two different web videos on how to do this. There is no mask at the bottom when I go there.

So, either this is bugged – the mask isnt appearing for me. Or the log is wrong – something is marked as done and isnt so I have to go back and redo the 23 masks again until I find the missing one (which may be a waste of time if this is bugged).

anyone else have a problem with this achievement?

don’t know if we have the same problem but there was a gw2 update AND a win 10 update on my machine last night. got the error msg you have and discovered that gw2 was missing from from my firewall exceptions. readded gw2-64.exe and now the game works. might not be related but I didn’t edit my firewall and delete gw2.

I play in windowed mode. got kicked out with the same error msg and several relogs
last night and this morning gave the same error msg. so I resized the window 1/2 inch and I can now login. didn’t reinstall anything. problem appeared after the last update.

thanks to all your advice and pointers and possibly the game update, I was able to get into the cave WITH the special rifle and complete the achievement. thirteenth time was the charm?!

I was wondering how to finish the Lion’s Arch Exterminator achievement – I have 44/50 so far. So far I have learned from the start of Sharkmaw/Weyandt’s Revenge:
jumping down the left side – you die
jumping down the middle – you die
jumping down the right side – you die
tried three chars = ranger, necro, ele – you die
equipping fall damage traits like Soften the Fall, Arcane Abatement, or Terrifying Descent – you die
if you do survive the fall, the special rifle you get from Sharptooth unequips itself
if you do survive the fall and go underwater, the special rifle unequips itself

so how does one get into Sharkmaw cavern WITH special the rifle? thank you.

okay I found them. They ARE still in the bank under Material Storage. I misunderstood – thought they would all show up under the new Hero/Miniature tab.

before this latest upgrade, I had about 6-8 miniatures. Now when I click on Hero/miniatures tab, the only ones visible are the ones that can be bought. They are all locked/grayed out. Where are the ones I already had?

thanks for reply. but after looking at what is required to craft the backpack, I don’t have 95% of the stuff for steps 2-13 and never will so it doesn’t matter. no reason to pursue this.

ignore this topic. same problem as previous posters – item appears on first char to complete story but is missing on alts.

I’ve completed “Plan of Attack” three times on three characters . I’ve talked to everyone. no NPC has offered this item nor is it in my inventory. it appears to be well hidden somewhere. so where is it?
