I just recently specced into Deceptive Evasion and have found what seems like a bug(others have no doubt mentioned this already) but was told that Mesmer clones are working as intended and it was suggested that I bring this up here.

The problem is that when I dodge to create a clone, it will attack whatever it feels like attacking, such as a tropical bird and instantly shatters, thus being useless in my current fight or another mob that happens to be closer to the clone which then joins the fight making things much more difficult The clone very often does not assist by attacking my targeted mob. I can’t say that I’ve noticed this happening with my other clones, just those produced from Deceptive Evasion.

I would ask that you adjust the clone AI so that it only attacks the targeted mob. Otherwise, this is a sketchy and somewhat dangerous skill to use, specially against hard hitting mobs, for example the Karkas and reef riders on Southsun Cove.

Could you please add the ability to select armor type when searching the trading post? As a light armor wearer, it would be awesome to not have to sort through a bunch of heavy and medium armor items when looking for the light stuff.

I had the same problem, one wouldn’t work at all and the other kept saying unable to fire in that direction. Also, I found it very difficult to actually “use” it because my followers kept getting in the way and I would get only the Talk option and not the Use. Anyway, I found a work around on youtube. Just swim out to the ship and take it out there. I used my spear to take out the ship.

I have the same problem with the Greatsaw skin I have. It costs 4 times the amount I have to list it so I can’t sell it and make some coin. Very frustrating… And yes, the TP should take their cut when the item sells, not when it’s listed. Any problems with using the TP as storage could be lessened/solved if the listings expired and/or the listing fee is charged either when the item sells or when the lister atempts to remove the item prior to sale.

People will find a way to abuse anything I’m afraid. In other games such as WoW, I seem to recall the AH would take their cut when the item sold. Maybe I’m misremembering though. It’s been some time since I’ve played that game. The problem is now that listings don’t expire on the TP. If you could only have an item up for 48hrs or so, it wouldn’t become a very useful place to store items you don’t currently have room for.

Any chance you’ve considered changing the listing fee to a transaction fee? That is, collect the fee at the time of sale rather than when the item is listed? I don’t have much coin but I have a Greatsaw skin that I could sell to make some coin. HOWEVER, I don’t have the 3+g to cover the listing fee so I can’t sell it.

So anyway, just thought I’d throw that suggestion out there, that you subtract the fee at the time of sale rather than at the time of listing.

I completed the tower 5 times, once each on a Norn, Charr, Huma, Sylvari and Asura(smallest model too) and I did it all with only the mouse. It took hours and hours to get it down and while it was wildly frustrating at times, it never stopped being fun. I honestly didn’t think it would be possible on the Asura but I managed it in about an hour or so. Best bet there is to get ahead of everyone so you can see yourself or just lock your eyes on the center of the screen and imagine you can see yourself lol.

I’m glad it was a tough achievement. If everyone could do it, it wouldn’t be much of an achievement now would it?

I spent $80 (don’t tell my wife!) I got the Greatsaw skin out of the first $50 from one of the 35 BL chests I had. I also used gems for bank space, minis, MK outfit and some dyes so I didn’t blow it all on keys. I did buy a lot of keys though…

After about 12ish hours total I finally completed it on my Charr Mesmer. I still want to do it on my Norn Ranger.

Oh and I did it one handed! lol I’m a dedicated mouser. Nerve damage + right hand = long story…

Chest? I saw no chest! Got the achievement/title after logging out and in again though.

Please also design a way to restore trashed boosts and mystery tonics! I got rid of several boosts and a stack of 77 mystery tonics (that’s 12 Mad King Chests!) yesterday after buying 20+ keys to open 30 chests(some keys dropped in the chests) Anyway, I didn’t have the bag space for a lot of that stuff and thought it was useless. I got a endless mystery tonic so I thought I didn’t need the regular ones…

35 chests and I did finally get the chainsaw great sword skin. HOWEVER, they say we’ll be able to buy/trade the normal junk for Halloween stuff? That does little good when you’ve already trashed all the items you have no use for and really need the bag space. I dumped a bunch of boosters and 77 mystery tonics(I got an endless mystery tonic and figured I wouldn’t need the others). Can I get those back?
