I transferred up because I take WvW more seriously than the server I was on previously and I wanted to be on one that felt similarly.

Translation: I got tired of getting destroyed by other servers so I transferred to JQ, one of the most stacked servers, so I can talk smack on the forums and pretend that I am relevant at all.

Love all these non-factor clowns who bandwagon to JQ/BG just so they can chest-thump on the forums.

Got to love the completely meaningful “victory” of getting the most points that don’t do anything by holding some random points for hours and spamming 1 in huge laggy blobs. It sounds like so much fun, too!

And yet, in 2-3 weeks when you guys are fighting easier servers, this will magically become fun again. Amazing how that works. :P

I seem to recall you guys liking “PvDoor” well enough when you were beating us.

Do whatever makes you happy, but the motivations are pretty transparent.

And regardless of the reasons, the bottom line remains that it’s healthier for the game as a whole to have three tier 1 servers that are at least somewhat reasonably matched, rather than two that are close and one that’s thrown in the towel. I’m confident that TC will at least put forth the good fight, even if we don’t have a shot of beating the big two. But Arenanet really needs to take a broad look at this whole issue of server balance and guilds being paid to transfer around and so forth. In the long run, it’s simply not good for anyone.

Oh, and I have a funny feeling you guys will magically regain your affection for “PvDoor” as soon as you are facing opponents you think you can beat.

there WAS a lot of interest in gw2 15v15 and 20v20 gvgs a few months ago and IF only a.net capitalized on that. devs need to take a quick trip to the valve building in seattle and learn from those guys.

and you are on aurora glade, 13th rank EU server atm… you don’t have queues there, maybe on reset night

and no, if you don’t have at least a guardian/ele ALT geared up ready to use when your WVW guild needs it then NO i don’t consider you a serious wvwer

I would consider myself a serious WvW:er and I have been in a guild that was focusing only on WvW and interestingly enough the vast majority (I would even be as bold as to say all) of us had more issues with being unable to play due to queues than we had with ranks being character-bound.

The fact that you claim that everyone of us would have answer that account bound ranks should have been in game since day 1 shows your ignorance as well, seeing as the ranks themselves were not added until quite some time after release. And thus having them account bound before they were even added wouldn’t make much sense.

its been over 2 months

During which time they have focused mainly on Edge of the Mists. Which they already knew back than had a very set release date (February 4th) which meant they had to put as much resources as possibly into it in order to make sure it hits its deadline.

While Account Bound ranks is nice and something I am looking forward to, it is a rather low priority issue, and more pressing matters should and will take priority over it.

ASK ANY serious WVWer and they will answer that ACCOUNT BOUND WVW RANKS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME SINCE DAY 1

wvw is not spvp. combustive shot (longbow burst skill) is effective in spvp because it covers the entire capture point. in small scale engagements in wvw, mobility is king. hammer/bow isn’t very mobile at all. you can’t run away when the situation isn’t in your favor. you can stand your ground and fight them off for a long time but you will go down.

needs more players definitely. you win one game and suddenly next game you are matched against rank 60s in teamQ. its a traumatic experience getting demolished by people with shark finishers. luckily im used to losing so it doesnt really bother me but new players will be put off and just not bother with spvp anymore

I’m having so much fun

My account was suspended 22 hours ago for “account issues”. I immediately filed a ticket and got a response soon after. I found out that my serial code was purchased by a fraudulent credit card/ stolen paypal account ( i bought it from an online reseller for $35 —now i know why it was so cheap). They reviewed my account and have decided to release the account to me. In order to gain access to my account again, I have to buy a new serial code and apply it to my account. I am lucky they gave me another chance instead of permanently banning my account.

Thank you ArenaNet Support Team for your quick response and I am glad this nightmare is finally over.

i got a reply after 6 hours. they asked for my serial key, i gave it and here i am waiting again for their reply

i don’t even know why my account is blocked. they could at least state the reason why my account is blocked

my account got blocked! is there a way i can talk / chat to a live support team or something? i got kicked out of the game while farming in cursed shore! i already made a support account and filed a ticket but i’m too impatient for that. somebody help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i took a break from WvW for a week to farm and this is what happens.. sad

buff hammer/sword+shield skills! 10 second stuns, no cast time, 5 second cooldown etc

GS warrior is great for farming cursed shore! they are not totally useless

wp SoR at SoS borderlands! /salute to Indo and other commanders, the random pugs who helped

Had a lot of fun on YB borderlands! Went to GoM borderlands, no one was there so me and around 10 guys capped everything — shoutout to FL,RUN and all others
