TC may be nerds but were not idiots, and I think you and your buds were on thieves too prior to switching over to mesmers (am I right, or is it sheer coincidence the 3 thieves from iLL left and 3 mesmers came online… how am i doing so far?)
Anyway, I don’t see how either side shows any thing but jokes ~ seems like harmless chat, even your jabs after being accepted (or did you not want to be accepted). Is that somehow perceived as nerd rage? You were even given a compliment… not to be perceived as ‘WHOA WHOA it’s trick it means bad kid cuss words about a virtual video game no one cares about….’

First of all, iLL has SO MANY thieves. Like an entire army of backstabbin’ fools. There’s more thieves than you have fingers and toes to count them.
Secondly, if you /laugh at anyone, you should always be prepared to defend your right to do so in a super srs honor duel. It’s only polite.

Yesterday was a pure Mesmer roaming day for me, so I did not switch from thief to mesmer, but we have a lot of both (to dodge zergs sometimes) and i do main my thief. *L*ike raf said, its surprising to me when I troll people contributing to a WvW server, and they decide to kill me and laugh, dance, sleep, and cry on your body but go on about there business. It astonishes me how they are actually contributing and wont stop to waste time to duel me. The ~support warrior enjoys playing~ dumb and avoid talking to avoid the embarrassment of being unable to duel on a great dueling class =P or felt the need to feed the troll his meal

I swear, maguuma is the worst server to solo roam against. Barely anybody is willing to fight on their own merit and most of the ones that do hide behind perplexity.

To keep this brief: last night I got weaponsmithing to 500. I crafted everything I needed for 2 ascended Valkyrie (Stonecleaver) daggers, except I was short some Dragonite ingots (so I was unable to make my vision crystals and finish the daggers on the spot).
After farming enough Dragonite for 1 vision crystal, I decided to craft 1 of my Stonecleaver’s Razors. After it was finished, I noticed my second set of Deldrimor Steel Dagger Hilt/Blade that was meant for my second dagger were gone.
The other components such as the second ascended inscription was still in my inventory, but the crafting station had used 2 of the Deldrimor Steel Blade/Hilt for the one dagger instead of one of each (as the recipe states).
I have checked my inventory, bank, other characters, everything. I know I crafted the extra blade/hilt, so I believe the game ate them.
Has anyone else lost expensive ascended crafting materials/components like this? I have searched to forums for any related posts and come up empty handed. Any help is appreciated!

I was rollin the Queen’s Gauntlet achievements, and I was mid way through tier 2. When I was teleported into my next fight, I was teleported into another player’s instance, they succeeded, and I got the achievement for beating a tier 3 competitor. Suddenly I skipped half of tier 2 and all of tier 3 except Liadri. Now I cannot get some of the achievements for tier 2 and tier 3 because I cannot go back and fight opponents like the pirates and the ooze. Is there any way to reset my gauntlet fights or something?

I’ll tell you exactly why. Because both times the fighting was not scheduled to start for at least another minute or two.
The agreed format was 25v25 , we had a start time that was agreed by both sides setup via intermediary ( and we were using the servertime as the guide here….. since everyone’s synched to it).
When you setup a contest like this, the rules apply to everyone. It wouldn’t be a fair fight if you’re hitting people ( with superior numbers) while they’re prepping… and that’s exactly what the [bp] people did twice.
Now they’re trying to spin it like we’re bad losers? that we’re forum_warring this like "the mag mewmews that we are " ? I’m man enough to admit when i get defeated, and frankly if it was a case of superior fighting we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. But because you did not follow the rules of the format agreed on, on top of the general disrespect you showed us ( & the assistance) that match is null & void.
That’s why [bp] is just a punk guild that deserves no respect. Keep trying to spin it any way you like… You acted like punks, and now you gotta deal with it.
